Evaluating Accessibilities to Village Community Centers via Rural Amenity Resources Information (농촌어메니티자원정보를 활용한 마을회관 접근성 평가에 관한 연구)

  • Village community centers are public locations where residential members of communities gather for various group meetings, social support, public information and recreational activities. Since the residents voluntarily operate the facilities, a convenient access to the center is a very important criterion for choosing where such facilities should be distributed throughout the districts. In particular, it is highly desirable to locate them within walking-distances from the residential populations. In this work, we have evaluated the accessibility to the community centers in several rural areas based on the surveys that were collected from year 2005 to 2012. We used the collected rural amenity resource distributions of the area for the evaluating the accessibilities to village center. More specifically, we considered some factors such as residential district and fraction of elderly population in the vicinity.

  • In this paper, an authentication scheme for network users using smart card is proposed. The network center generates key information and distributes the generated key to the network users safely. It also carries out the verification of the network users to prevent in-proper use caused by stolen of cards. In addition to that the net-work users can change their password in anytime they want. Therefor, we provide more secure and efficient mutual authentication methods.

  • In order to utilize remote sensed images widely, it is necessary to correct geometrically. Traditional approaches to geometric correction require substantial human operations. Such substantial human operations make geometric correction a laborious and tedious process. In this paper, We introduce concept of GCP(Ground Control Point) Chip and generate a GCP Chip for automatic geometric correction. GCP Chip is small image patch which has a GCP in reference coordinate image. GCP Chip will be used to match new images in geometric correction. We generated GCP chip using Landsat-7 ETM+ panchromatic band image in this study. Henceforth this result will support automatic process in geometric correction.

  • 본 논문에서는 미래인터넷의 핵심 자원 중 하나인, 네트워크 가상화 지원 프로그래머블 플랫폼 또는 라우터의 제어프레임워크 구조를 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안된 제어프레임워크는 네트워크 프로세서 기반의 프로그래머블 플랫폼 상에서 사용자의 요청에 따라 실시간으로 네트워크 프로세서에 동적으로 슬리버를 생성하고, 생성된 슬리버를 슬라이스로 확장할 수 있는 기능을 제공할 수 있다. 이를 통해 생성된 슬라이스 위에서 사용자의 요구사항 별 다양한 미래인터넷 서비스를 동시에 서로 간섭 없이 실행할 수 있다.

  • As modern computer graphics technology has been developed, it is hard to discriminate computer graphics from photographic images with the naked eye. Advances in graphics technology has brought a lot of convenience to human, it has side effects such as image forgery, malicious edit and fraudulent means. In order to cope with such problems, studies of various algorithms using a feature that represents a characteristic of an image has been processed. In this paper, we verify directly the existing algorithm, and provide new features based a noise that represents the characteristics of the computer graphics well. And this paper introduces the method of using SVM(Support Vector Machine) with features proposed in previous research to improve the discrimination accuracy.

A decision support system for diagnosis of distress cause and repair in marine concrete structures

  • Marine Structures are very costly and need a continuous inspection and maintenance routine. The most effective way to control the structural health is the application of an expert system that can evaluate the importance of any distress on the structure and provide a maintenance program. An extensive literature review, interviews with expert supervisors and a national survey are used to build a decision support system for concrete structures in sea environment. Decision trees are the main rules in this system. The system input is inspection information and the system output is the main cause(s) of distress(es) and the best repair method(s). Economic condition, severity of distress, distress situation, and new technologies and the most repeated classical methods are considered to choose the best repair method. A case study demonstrates the application of the developed decision support system for a type of marine structure.

  • Technology and knowledge are emerging as core elements of competitiveness for businesses. SMEs lack technology and knowledge, and are also limited in their ability to absorb external knowledge. The government is supporting SMEs' absorption of external knowledge by utilizing retired scientists and engineers, but related research is insufficient. Thus, this study conducted an empirical analysis on the effects of support by retired scientists and engineers at SMEs. Specifically, the study confirmed the effects of company competitiveness and technology development capacities at each stage of technology commercialization. Results of the study confirmed that in an environment where technology competitiveness of SMEs are emphasized, the support of retired scientists and engineers has some effect on the competitiveness of SMEs and their technology development capacity. Therefore, this study suggests important implications for future policy development and execution of related projects.

  • 계량서지적 분석을 활용한 정보자료실의 새로운 역할과 기능 확대 가능성을 검토하였다. 이를 위하여 국제백신연구소를 대상으로 641건의 연구논문에서 추출한 디스크립터 중 10회 이상의 빈도를 갖는 110건의 키워드를 대상으로 co-word 분석을 수행하고 디스크립터 전략 다이어그램을 도출하였다. 분석결과 연구조직과 일치하는 연구영역 지도를 도출할 수 있었고, 고성장 추세인 분야와 감소 추세인 분야를 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 인터넷을 통한 정보화의 영향으로 교육 방법에도 큰 변화를 가져왔다. 교수자와 학습자간 오프라인으로 이루어졌던 교육이 온라인상에서 이루어지게 되었고, 양질의 원격 교육을 실천하려는 노력 과정에서 LMS(Learning Management System)는 많은 발전을 하게 되었다[3]. 하지만 잘 개발된 LMS 라 할 지라도 온라인 교육에서는 오프라인 교육과 같이 교수자와 학습자의 직접적인 커뮤니케이션을 통한 상호 의견 수렴이 어렵다[4]. 따라서 본 논문에서는 LMS 기능에 확장성과 이식성을 갖는 설문 시스템을 추가 함으로써 교수자와 학습자간의 원활한 커뮤니케이션을 지원하고자 한다. 또한 강의 점검, 교수전략 수립, 연구, 정책수립 및 사업추진을 위한 각종 조사에 활용하고자 한다. 본 논문의 설문 조사 시스템은 오픈 소스로 전국 대학 및 교육기관을 대상으로 무상 배포 중이며 그 활용을 검증 중이다[5].

A Structural Model of Intra-Organizational Diffusion of Information Technology: Firm′s Database System Adoption

  • The objectives of the study are to build a structural model of intra-organizational diffusion of information technology and to test this model. Data were collected from senior managers of the purchasing department through questionnaires and statistically analyzed using the structural equation modeling. The questionnaires were concerning firm's database system adoption. Key findings of the study are as follows. First, buying center dynamics (i.e., buying center decision centrality, participation in buying center, and top-management support) are substantially related to the intra-organizational diffusion. Second, environmental characteristics (i.e., market turbulence, technological turbulence, and competitive intensity) indirectly affect on intra-organizational diffusion via buying center dynamics.
