The findings of this study were as follows. First, the factors of a company's information security systems, namely reliability, expertise, availability, security, and economic efficiency, all significantly and positively impacted performance expectations. Second, the performance expectation of introducing information security systems for a company significantly and positively impacted the intention to accept technology. Third, the social impact of introducing information security systems for a company had a significant and positive impact on technology acceptance intention. Fourth, the facilitating conditions for introducing a company's information security systems significantly and positively impacted technology acceptance intention. Fifth, as for the moderating effect of innovation resistance, the moderating effect was significant in the paths of [performance expectation -> technology acceptance intention], [social impact -> technology acceptance intention], and [facilitating conditions -> technology acceptance intention]. The implication of this study is that the factors to be considered when introducing information security systems were provided to companies that are the actors of their proliferation, providing the base data to lay the foundation for introducing security technologies and their proliferation.

  • In this paper, we investigate physical layer security for multiple decode-and-forward (DF) relaying underlay cognitive radio networks (CRNs) with fixed transmit power at the secondary network against passive eavesdropping attacks. We propose a simple relay selection scheme to improve wireless transmission security based on the instantaneous channel information of all legitimate users and the statistical information about the eavesdropper channels. The closed-form expressions of the probability of non-zero secrecy capacity and the secrecy outage probability (SOP) are derived over independent and non-identically distributed Rayleigh fading environments. Furthermore, we conduct the asymptotic analysis to evaluate the secrecy diversity order performance and prove that full diversity is achieved by using the proposed relay selection. Finally, numerical results are presented to verify the theoretical analysis and depict that primary interference constrain has a significant impact on the secure performance and a proper transmit power for the second transmitters is preferred to be energy-efficient and improve the secure performance.

  • Blockchain system brought innovation in the area of accounting, credit monitoring and trade secrets. Consensus algorithm that considered the central component of blockchain, significantly influences performance and security of blockchain system. In this paper we presented four consensus protocols specifically as Proof of Work (PoW), Proof of Stake (PoS), Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) and Practical Byzantine Fault-Tolerance (PBFT), we also reviewed different security threats that affect the performance of Consensus Protocols and precisely enlist their counter measures. Further we evaluated the performance of these Consensus Protocols in tabular form based on different parameters. At the end we discussed a comprehensive comparison of Consensus protocols in terms of Throughput, Latency and Scalability. We presume that our results can be beneficial to blockchain system and token economists, practitioners and researchers.

  • Differential Power Analysis (DPA) based on the statistical characteristics of collected signals has been known as an efficient attack for uncovering secret key of crypto-systems. However, the attack performance of this method is affected very much by the temporal misalignment and the noise of collected side channel signals. In this paper, we propose a new method based on wavelet analysis to surmount the temporal misalignment and the noise problem simultaneously in DPA. The performance of the proposed method is then evaluated while analyzing the power consumption signals of Micro-controller chips during a DES operation. The experimental results show that our proposed method based on wavelet analysis requires only 25% traces compared with those of the previous preprocessing methods to uncover the secret key.

  • This paper presents a comparative performance analysis of a network accelerator model based on M/M/l queuing system. It assumes the Poisson distribution as its input traffic load. The decoding delay is employed as a performance analysis measure. Simulation results based on the proposed model show only $15\%$ differences with respect to actual measurements on field traffic for BCM5820 accelerator device. The performance analysis model provides with reasonable hardware structure of network servers, and can be used to span design spaces statistically.

  • This paper focuses on the role of international standards related to industrial technology and to analyze determinants to affect ISMS and its performance. Particularly its financial and operational performance were measured by survey aiming at an influence of certification and its performances. The variables explaining the performance were drawn out from factor analysis and then critical variables to affect performance were discovered by ANOVA and regression analysis. As a result of the analysis considering heteroscedastic and factor analysis, type of business and firm size were not significantly related to the performance but the existence of information security unit, investment in information security and the status of security consciousness in executives and employees were positively related. As a result, this study shows that security certification should be implemented with suitable capabilities and the investments to protect from leaking industrial technology and proved the importance of the security certification as an infrastructures and system.

  • Among previous Side Channel Analysis (SCA) methods, Differential Power Analysis (DPA) based on the statistical characteristics of collected signals has been known as an efficient attack for uncovering secret key of cryptosystems. However, the attack performance of this method is affected very much by the temporal misalignment and noise of collected side channel signals. In this paper, we propose a new method to surmount the noise problem in DPA. The performance of the proposed method is then evaluated while analyzing the power consumption signals of Micro-controller chips during a DES operation. Its performance is then compared to that of the original DPA in the time and frequency domains. When we compare the experimental results with respect to the needed number of traces to uncover the secret key, our proposed method shows the performance enhancement 33% in the time domain and 50% in the frequency domain.

  • It is shown in this paper that Yuksel-Nielson's key distribution scheme is not secure against key de-synchronization attack even though their scheme supplement ZigBee-2007 specification's security problems. Furthermore, a new key distribution scheme is proposed, which is the one to fix the security weakness of Yuksel-Nielson's scheme, as well as its security and performance analysis to verify its effectiveness.
