Owing to the need to establish a cooperative-intelligent transport system (C-ITS) environment in the transportation sector locally and abroad, various research and development efforts such as high-tech road infrastructure, connection technology between road components, and traffic information systems are currently underway. However, the current central control center-oriented information collection and provision service structure and the insufficient road infrastructure limit the realization of the C-ITS, which requires a diversity of traffic information, real-time data, advanced traffic safety management, and transportation convenience services. In this study, a network construction method based on the existing received signal strength indicator (RSSI) selected as a comparison target, and the experimental target and the proposed intelligent edge network compared and analyzed. The result of the analysis showed that the data transmission rate in the intelligent edge network was 97.48%, the data transmission time was 215 ms, and the recovery time of network failure was 49,983 ms.

Computing environment is evolving rapidly to ubiquitous environment. It thus makes people access and utilize any resource on the move and makes location of objects rise to the rank of the most important information. However provision of location information is too restrictive in small environments such as a home or building. In this paper we propose a home entertainment system which supports user mobility based on sensor networks and distributed devices. The proposed system estimates a user location by using signal strength received from Bluetooth ad-hoc networks. This estimated location information can tell which device a user can take advantage of while moving. In order to prove possibility of user mobility support, the system is implemented on our UPnP A/V framework home entertainment system to provide content streaming and the result shows that a provision of service for mobile users could be possible in small ubiquitous computing environments.

Internet-based shopping business spread rapidly in Korea. Companies are trying to develop and use various strategic competences. The strategies employed by those companies include activities related to the design of shopping site, market positioning, assistance of purchasing process, payment mechanism, and provision of various consumer services. However, the success of these strategies depends on various environmental factors and internal capability of the companies. In this study, I examined four successful Internet shopping mall companies and compared them to draw useful guidelines for Internet-based intermediary business. These four companies were selected because they are all considered successful by now, but brought different background. We found follows. First, each company tried to economize their own historical and developmental background. All of the selected companies were alike in their focus on the whole Internet user group. Customer needs analysis was performed more systematically. The Importance of customer information and the use of it are not sufficient. Second, Each companies consistently emphasized the importance of market-related activities. Despite the differences in initial states, all companies used similar strategies and had similar focus in target market and products. Conclusively, implications from this research for Internet shopping business can be summarized as follows. First, One of the important future directions for Internet shopping mall business is to broaden target market. Second, the provisions of carefully designed customized services are one success factor. Third, As customer traffic increased, the provision of differential customer service becomes a key success factor.

In this paper the key drivers change for cadastral organizations have been presented according to the following aspects; Geo-ICT development including positioning technology, government's public organization innovation policy, cadastral market opening pressure and decreasing of cadastral survey work. It was confirmed that the role of cadastral organization has to be changed from the conducting cadastral survey organization to the spatial information provision organization. Eventually it should take a role to realize Spatially Enabled Society(SES) which is fundamental for national development and upgrading quality of life in the society. From the case study of international cadastral organization, cadastral organization should take core responsibility for the Nation Spatial Data Infrastructure(NSDI) and meeting the future costumers requirements through technical developments and organization's innovation efforts.

This study was performed in order to to suggest the library service direction and program provision method for single-person households in the Seoul Public Library. by analyzing the current status of the operation of public services and library services for domestic and foreign single-person households and the results of the survey on perception of library users and experts. As a result, the suggested library service direction for single-person households was proposed to secure and provide information resources closely related to the lives of single-person households, and establish a support center in charge of services to utilize human resources efficiently with local libraries, and create a user-centered facility infrastructure including single-person households away from the material-oriented library, provide regional specifications and customised services based on the characteristics and distribution of single-person households. In addition, the reading culture program for single-person households believes that social activities support for vulnerable single-person households, social ties, care, volunteer work, leisure and cultural activities are more necessary than anything else, and proposed specialized library services and programs for young, middle-aged, and female single-person households.

The rapid development of cloud computing and high requirements of operators requires strong support from the underlying Data Center Networks. Therefore, the effectiveness of using resources in the data center networks becomes a point of concern for operators and material for research. In this paper, we discuss the online virtual-cluster provision problem for multiple tenants with an aim to decide when and where the virtual cluster should be placed in a data center network. Our objective is maximizing the total revenue for the data center networks under the constraints. In order to solve this problem, this paper divides it into two parts: online multi-tenancy scheduling and virtual cluster placement. The first part aims to determine the scheduling orders for the multiple tenants, and the second part aims to determine the locations of virtual machines. We first approach the problem by using the variational inequality model and discuss the existence of the optimal solution. After that, we prove that provisioning virtual clusters for a multi-tenant data center network that maximizes revenue is NP-hard. Due to the complexity of this problem, an efficient heuristic algorithm OMS (Online Multi-tenancy Scheduling) is proposed to solve the online multi-tenancy scheduling problem. We further explore the virtual cluster placement problem based on the OMS and propose a novel algorithm during the virtual machine placement. We evaluate our algorithms through a series of simulations, and the simulations results demonstrate that OMS can significantly increase the efficiency and total revenue for the data centers.

Determining the percentage of negligence between the parties in the event of road traffic accidents is a significant problem. In order to provide users with more accurate criteria for determining the percentage of negligence, several companies are providing services. However, services currently available are limited to immediate use at the scene of an accident. Generally, the service that determines the percentage of negligence can be used after all accident handling procedures have been completed. This paper provides a real-time traffic accident type and fault rate information provision service utilizing a deep learning-based predictive model to overcome these limitations. Users can immediately identify accident types and fault information by taking pictures at the accident site and check actual precedents of the same accident type. Users will be able to use the service to more accurately and reliably determine the percentage of negligence and handle incidents.

The review of known decisions showed that currently there are no systems and technologies for supporting the decision about the possibility of concluding the civil law agreements for medical, therapeutic and dental services. The paper models the decision-making support process on the possibility of concluding the civil law agreements for medical, therapeutic and dental services, which is the theoretical basis for the development of rules, methods and system for supporting the decision about the possibility of concluding the civil law agreements for medical, therapeutic and dental services. The paper also developed the system for supporting the decision about the possibility of concluding the civil law agreements for medical, therapeutic and dental services, which automatically and free determines the possibility or impossibility of concluding the corresponding civil law agreement for the provision of a corresponding medical service. In the case of formation of a conclusion about the possibility of concluding the agreement, further conclusion and signing of the corresponding agreement takes place. In the case of forming a conclusion about the impossibility of concluding the agreement, a request is made for finalizing the relevant agreement for the provision of the relevant medical service, indicating the reasons for the impossibility of concluding the agreement - missing essential conditions in the agreement. After finalization, the agreement can be analyzed again by the developed system for supporting the decision.

Plagiarism detection software is beneficial in detecting plagiarism in research works of postgraduate students. Despite the benefits of using plagiarism detection software, studies have revealed that most students, including postgraduates, do not use plagiarism detection software as expected. This could depend on the provision of facilitating conditions like internet connectivity, training opportunities and electricity. Thus, this study examined facilitating conditions and the use of plagiarism detection software among postgraduates of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. A descriptive survey research design of the correlational type was used for this study, with a population of 2143 postgraduates. The multi-stage random sampling technique was used to determine the sample size of 242. The questionnaire was the research instrument, and data was analysed using descriptive statistics. Results showed that most postgraduates agreed that the university provided facilitating conditions like internet connectivity. The majority of the respondents noted that they used Turnitin monthly. Most of the respondents noted that they used plagiarism detection software to paraphrase their work and check the correctness of the grammar in their documents. The most prominent challenges confronting plagiarism detection software use by most respondents were their inability to afford subscription payment to use the plagiarism detection software and slow internet connectivity. There was a significant positive relationship between facilitating conditions and the use of plagiarism detection software by the postgraduates of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Some of the recommendations for the institution's management include leveraging the vast network of alumni willing to give back to the institution and intervening in the provision of internet connectivity and electricity.
