The purpose of this study is to examine the The correlation between information processing types and mathematical communication abilities / word problem solving abilities. The results obtained are as follows: 1 Simultaneous/continuous information process types showed statistically high correlation with mathematical communication abilities. However, the correlation between simultaneous information process and mathematical communication abilities is a little higher than the correlation between continuous information process and mathematical communication abilities. 2. There is a high correlation between mathematical communication abilities and word problem solving abilities. Especially, speaking ability is much more correlated with four factors of word problem solving than reading, writing and listening, Through this study, we can conclude that information process types should be consider ed in order to improve mathematical communication abilities and mathematical communication abilities is essential in word problem solving.

Integration of engineering information through the IT (Information Technology) is very important key during the collaboration design process. How can we realize the data efficiently in real-time at the early design stage? How can we manage to integrate the separate information made by each designer or department effectively in real time? IT global trend is the unique way of handling these complicated problems from the information inundation. This paper suggests the design process management system deduced from the analytical results considering BPM (Business Process Management) solution workflow. Workflow based design process management system can help user share and integrate the needed information at the right time through Internet. It is found that the proposed tool works well for a beam design case, and this framework can be thus further expanded for an engineering design environment smoothly.

The integration of CAD and CAM is critical for computer aided process planning. Recently, STEP has been emerged and utilized as a product data exchange standard format in CAD/CAM areas. The assembly information consists of assembly component relations, assembly features, assembly directions and mating conditions. The purpose of this study is to develop an efficient algorithm to extract assembly information directly from the STEP based files and to generate automatically assembly process plan from the extracted assembly features. The developed algorithms will generate assembly information codes for STEP(AICS). The results from this study can be a reasonable link between design and manufacturing for developing better CAAPP(Computer-Aided Assembly Process Planning) systems.

This paper presents a design methodology for developing a new push scooter. A case study is clone with effective planning processes to ensure the product quality under the different phases of a product design process. Parametric model based design process simulation and optimization is implemented by using ANSYS application tool. The relationship matrix and decision matrix are drawn by using several methods. The simulation results for deterministic design and robust design are compared. This entire design process phase can support the design and quality improvements for a new product development.

In this paper, we extract the quantitative relation data of activities from the workflow event log file recorded in the XES standard format and connect them to rediscover the workflow process model. Extract the workflow process patterns and proportions with the rediscovered model. There are four types of control-flow elements that should be used to extract workflow process patterns and portions with log files: linear (sequential) routing, disjunctive (selective) routing, conjunctive (parallel) routing, and iterative routing patterns. In this paper, we focus on four of the factors, disjunctive routing, and conjunctive path. A framework implemented by the authors' research group extracts and arranges the activity data from the log and converts the iteration of duplicate relationships into a quantitative value. Also, for accurate analysis, a parallel process is recorded in the log file based on execution time, and algorithms for finding and eliminating information distortion are designed and implemented. With these refined data, we rediscover the workflow process model following the relationship between the activities. This series of experiments are conducted using the Large Bank Transaction Process Model provided by 4TU and visualizes the experiment process and results.

Software quality is classified by quality of process and product. In experience of Quality Management, it is known that quality level of product as it depends on goodness and badness of process and organization. As a result, improvement of software process has been important subject. According as this trends, ISO 12207 is publicated as standard of software life cycle process by ISO. For UML based object oriented development process, it is necessary that we should research detailed definition of activity and task of ISO 12207 process which is added, deleted or tailored in according to organization and project characteristics. In this thesis, by according with ISO 12207 software life cycle process, UML based object oriented development process is proposed. This process is composed of 7 steps and 19 activities including development phase, activity and product to improve quality of reliability. Usefulness of object oriented process for improvement of software quality is proved at three ways, which are comparative analysis of process characteristics, SPICE process evaluation and SPICE rick analysis.

본 연구는 인지적, 정서적, 환경적 측면을 포함한 통합적 관점에서 방송콘텐츠 창작자들이 방송기획과정에서 정보를 이용하는 과정을 분석하여 정보활동모형을 개발하였다. 방송콘텐츠 창작자들은 공통된 인지적 프로세스 단계를 통해 정보의 교환과 통합을 이루며, 대중과의 정서적 공감을 위하여 최근의 뉴스와 인간 및 일상생활전반에 대한 정보를 끊임없이 탐색한다. 또한 정보의 시대성과 시의성, 방송사회내의 규범과 문화적 맥락도 중요한 정보원이며 정보에 대한 판단은 주관적이며 경험적으로 이루어지고 있음을 밝혀내었다.

최근 정보시스템은 정보기술의 발달로 이기종의 환경으로 분산되어 프로세스를 중심으로 복잡하게 얽혀 있다. 프로세스는 어떠한 업무가 시작되어 끝날 때까지 의사결정의 선후관계를 갖는 인스턴스의 흐름을 가지고 여러 정보시스템을 넘나들며, 업무의 성과를 측정하는데 필요한 많은 정보를 담고 있다. 프로세스는 단위 업무활동인 작업으로 구성되며, 단위 작업은 정보 발생원인 이벤트로 구성된다. 그러나 대부분의 경우 직접 이벤트를 연계하여 프로세스의 진행이 경영적인 관점에서 얼마나 성과 있게 진행되고 있는지를 측정하는 것은 매우 어렵다. 따라서 프로세스가 완전히 끝나기 전에 작업의 진행에서 프로세스의 성과를 미리 측정한다면 운영비용 절감 및 효율적인 프로세스 실행이 가능하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 프로세스의 현재 성과를 사전에 평가할 수 있도록 이벤트 기반의 프로세스 성과측정 모델을 제안하였다. 첫째, 프로세스 성과측정개념을 제시하고, 단위 정보시스템의 이벤트로부터 수집된 정보를 통해 프로세스의 성과측정을 위한 성과지표 선정방법을 연구한다. 둘째, 프로세스 성과측정을 위한 이벤트 수집을 위해 선정된 성과지표와 기존 시스템의 이벤트 간 매핑방법과 수집된 이벤트를 프로세스 관점에서 효율적으로 저장관리 하는 데이터 스키마와 방법을 연구한다. 마지막으로 수집된 이벤트를 바탕으로 프로세스의 성과 측정 모델을 제시한다.

Nowadays, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) has been a competitive edge of many companies. It is critical for companies to get and maintain profitable customers. For the purpose of sustaining this competitive edge, companies should manage the Customer Information (CI) more effectively The major goais of this research are 1) to identify the activities of the Customer Information Management (CIM) and the factors influencing on the CIM, 2) to show the relationship between the proficiency of the CIM and the CI Quality, and 3) to verify the mediating effects of the proficiency of the CIM Process between the influencing factors and the CI Quality. An empirical study was undertaken to test the hypotheses with data from 65 companies. Multiple regression analysis and ANOVA were employed to test the hypotheses. We found that 1) there are 6 activities in the CIM process and 5 factors affecting the CIM, 2) the proficiency of the CIM process is closely related to the CI Quality, and 3) the proficiency of the CIM process plays the mediator between the influencing factors and the CI Quality.

The laminating technique for developing flexible liquid crystal display was demonstrated by using a thin UV curable polymer film and a plastic substrate with patterned polymer wall structure. We adopted the rigid wall structure to provide a solid mechanical support for the stable molecular alignment of liquid crystals (LCs) in the device. The cover film was prepared to have an ability of aligning LC molecules by patterning a micro-groove structure using the soft-lithographic process. These two substrates can be assembled tightly by the laminating and one-step UV irradiation process because of the adhesive nature of the used UV curable polymers. Proposed method can be used to fabricate the flexible LC display with simplicity and also be applicable for a cost-effective roll-to-roll process.
