Construction industry is an aggregate of information that diverse information is integrated and controlled. To implement successful construction projects, it can be said that the information management is very important. In particular, because information of construction sites is controlled in a form of documents, importance of the document management in construction has been increased. But, by controlling information through documents, there are difficult problems in writing and classification of the documents and preservation and utilization of the information. Also, due to incompletion of the information management system, difficulty in systematic info management arises. For this reason, this study intends to suggest the document information breakdown structure for controlling document info efficiently which is generated at construction sites. For this, through the examination of preceding studies, establishment of the concept of the document info breakdown structure, the space breakdown structure, and the info breakdown structure, availability of document information is intended to heighten.

We studied how to achieve successful implementation of massive research and development projects requiring collaboration among industries, universities and government-supported research institute. We have set up an engineering process innovation model to be deemed most adequately for all practical purposes, relying on the theoretical studies on the merits and analysis of the effect of the information system based on Milestone Management, Work Breakdown Structures and Web, which is known to be effective for research project (schedule) management and the objective management, and implemented a real-world web-based project objective management system. After a review of various R & D Project Schedule Management methods, we found that this information system was very compatible with project objective management. This project objective management information system carries out research and development projects effectively and efficiently, getting together in cyber-space and sharing information, and has been equipped with an Early Warning Subsystem to allow for pre-analysis and timely response to potential problems arising from the course of the project. The system also contains an Executive Information System that in real time, automatically provides the management information required by managers with the rate of project progress (achievement, fulfillment and delay). Lastly, actual progress can be cross-checked through both on-line objective management on the web-based information system and design review meeting held on site, to improve the efficiency and validity of the information system. Moreover, overall effect was analyzed through questionnaires on how well the system and generated information meet requirements and on the ultimate impact of the system upon objective management and communication. The questionnaire on the system effect revealed that the information system was useful to objective management and communication, and that the quality of the system was more than acceptable as well.

In recent time, herbal information and products have been used to treat different sicknesses and diseases such as arthritis, insomnia, ulcer, diabetes, cough, fever, constipation and cardiovascular problems. Several researches conducted have given birth to the use of different herbal products (such as rosemary Lavenders, sage, curry leaf' Tea bush, Bitter leaf, Thyme, garlic, ginger, Ginseng and Aloe Vera) for medicinal and culinary purposes. Due to the ever increasing importance of herbal research information, there is need for adequate and proper management of herbal research information. This article examines the need for information management in herbal research, characteristics of herbal research information as well as the nexus of trends of information management in herbal research. It discusses and identifies the roles of libraries in the management of herbal research information. The paper also identifies some emerging ICT tools used for information management in herbal research. It concludes that apart from helping to preserve valuable information on herbal medicinal research, proper management of herbal research information also help to lpreserve the indigenous knowledge of the people from being lost as a result of factors such as acculturation and biodiversity. The paper recommends that government and information agencies should draw up strategy for proper management of herbal research information as this will enhance access to quality herbal information.

Recently the paradigm of business management has changed. The businesses have restored to ERP or BPR to integrate their information system. But now they are trying to find out a new competitiveness in tacit knowledge of individuals. The creative company has come to put much weigh on the value of their employee′s "non-patternized" knowledge. And this trend has seen a development into a theory of knowledge management in which "non-patternized" knowledge, along with explicit knowledge, is also considered as a source of competitiveness. With the hypothesis that the recognition of the knowledge management and the utilization of the information technology will have influence on the integration of the integrating the information system information system into a new phase, this study carries out a research on the effects of knowledge management and information technology on management achievement. According to this study the distribution of knowledge has an effect on the integration of information system and management achievement. The asset of knowledge, however, has little effect on them. This means that the recognition of the asset of knowledge alone can't affect the management achievement, but when combined with the recognition of the distribution of knowledge, it can have influence on the management achievement. Thus, a company has to enhance the recognition of the distribution of knowledge. And with this, a company can have a business management based on management achievement and the integration of information system utilizing information technology and the recognition of knowledge management. A company has to promote it business achievement by integrating the information system utilizing information technology and recognizing knowledge management.

The successful management of business risks depends on appropriate level of risks in business. Business risk management would be conducted in terms of financial risk management and information security management. The financial management and the information security management could not achieve an integrated business risk management. As numerous security breaches on a variety of information assets such as personal information, corporate secrets, computer servers, and networks have occurred, information security has emerged as a critical social issue. However, researches on economically rational information security decision-making have been few. Such researches are especially rare in South Korea where information security is considered to be a discipline of engineers. This study aims to identify the preferred themes and methodologies of information security economics research in the field of information systems by reviewing papers published in Management Information Systems Quarterly (MISQ), Information Systems Research (ISR), European Journal of Information Systems (EJIS), Management Science (MS), and Information and Management (I&M). We hope that the results of the study will be helpful in rational managerial or policy decision-making for practitioners and suggest future research topics for researchers.

This study intends to present an effective and efficient development plan about the information protection of medical institutions, by establishing the improvement plan about Personal Information Management System(PIMS) appropriate to the characteristics of medical information focusing on medical institutions generating and using domestic medical information, and doing an empirical study on medical information protection plan. For this, in view of the medical characteristics of the existing Information Security Management System(ISMS), the study presented a study model appropriated to medical institutions based on Personal Information Management Systems index specialized for personal information, and through this, presented the vulnerability diagnosis and vulnerability improvement plan. Based on ISMS index, it designed an improvement index of personal information protection management about each index. The study conducted a survey for executives and employees about PIMS. Accordingly, it presented vulnerability diagnosis items of the current management system indexes from the viewpoint of the people who establish and mange the personal information protection about patients' medical information targeting executives and employees who serve at hospitals and can access medical information.

This study aims to verify the structural correlation empirically between information security performance and information management performance. To verify the correlation, three factors such as managerial controlled activity, technical controlled activity, and physical controlled activity are divided for the information security activities variable. the security performance are divided into accident prevention and accident response variables. As a result, security organization activity is a unique factor being positively significant to information security and management performance. And three activities such as human security, security training, development security do not affect at all on both information security and management performance.
