This is a research of an adaptive longitudinal control system for situated cognition in wide range, traffic accidents reduction and safety driving environment by integrated system which graft a road infrastructure's information based on IT onto the intelligent vehicle combined automobile and IT technology. The road infrastructure installed by laser scanner in intersection, speed limited area and sharp curve area where is many risk of traffic accident. The road infra conducts objects recognition, segmentation, and tracking for determining dangerous situation and communicates real-time information by Ethernet with vehicle. Also, the data which transmitted from infrastructure supports safety driving by integrated with laser scanner's data on vehicle bumper.

This paper introduces an online collaboration infrastructure in order to build a nationwide collaboration ecosystem in research and education areas. The proposed infrastructure involves domestic research institutes, education institutions and related commercial service vendors. It also includes various systems and services which can promote their online collaboration. Especially it provides the user authentication framework based on identity federation which facilitates the share of various ICT resources across different organizations, thereby enabling the efficient R&D collaboration. We deploy and validate the user authentication framework of the infrastructure on KREONET.

As the digital information infrastructure is established for the public library system in the contemporary age, expectations and demands surrounding the public library system are growing rapidly as the place of exchange and enjoyment of information and culture, and as the place of life-long learning. In addition, a new kind of information & culture services are needed to meet the demands of contemporary men and women, who are exploring information as the information environment undergoes rapid changes - from increase in the volume of digital publications, to increase in the usefulness of online information resources, to strides made in the media industry. The public library will continue to play its role and function by providing to all users all available information, whether it's available online or offline, whether it's in a physical format or in a digital format. As such, design and management of a space appropriate as a new information environment are needed. It is deemed that an information infrastructure for Daegu that can improve the quality of life in the region and can increase user accessibility to information in this information age is needed, as well as reorganization of the pertinent environment. Therefore more public libraries have to be built in Daegu as a necessity, and it is urgently needed that the information services be expanded through an organic linkage between local libraries such as between the central library and the branch libraries. This paper aims to provide basic data for building of public libraries in Daegu. To establish an information infrastructure for Daegu, a direction is given for the establishment of a local network of public libraries and ways for improvement are explored. This paper is significant in that, first, it helps in the planning of a local network of public libraries, which plays a crucial role in improving accessibility to information as well as the level of their use; and second, it helps in setting up guidelines for spatial configuration of the user space. As for the method, quantitative review of the information environment is to be done by analyzing the present situation of the public library network in Daegu from the perspectives of region, facility, and space, in order to present a method of user-centered spatial configuration that meets the changes in social roles and forms of information in the contemporary society.

This study considered measures to support the establishment of surveying and spatial information in preparation for the unification of South and North Korea and the subsequent construction of national infrastructure. The organization identified and analyzed spatial information about North Korea, road and railway-oriented SOC construction projects, and examined the applicability of the latest technologies to narrow the technical gap with North Korea and quickly establish land spatial information. To prepare a support process appropriate for the situation in North Korea, technical and human support details and considerations were reviewed through a case analysis of spatial information construction for developing countries. In addition, the main result was "Presenting Efficient Utilization of Human Resources and Equipment for the Establishment of Spatial Information in North Korea," establishing an efficient utilization plan for the human resources and equipment needed in the support process based on technology support. It is expected that the South Korean government will minimize the negative impact on future land infrastructure construction by first conducting research in inter-Korean economic cooperation and national infrastructure construction and establishment of spatial information construction plans.

The Emirate of Abu Dhabi is swiftly rising into a newly industrialized country by achieving economic prosperity among the Islamic cultural regions of Middle East and North Africa(MENA). Abu Dhabi Emirate is performing the conversion from oil economy to non-oil economy and the sustainable urban development policy. However, there are various social and environmental problems in Abu Dhabi. In order to solve the urban problems caused by the rapid economic growth and the changes in society and environment, Abu Dhabi is recognizing the importance of spatial information and triggering the establishment of spatial information. Spatial information is regarded as a basic infrastructure for urban construction and enlarged as a blue ocean market in Abu Dhabi. However, the base of spatial data infrastructure in Abu Dhabi is not well managed in comparison to that of Korea. Especially, Abu Dhabi has some characteristics that it depends on foreign multinational companies and it does not have its own systemic organization and law system. To advance into Abu Dhabi spatial data market under-controlled by global vendors, it is necessary to identify the advantage and disadvantage on spatial data infrastructure of Abu Dhabi and required to establish the advance methods into niche markets by considering priority order of spatial information. Thus, this study aims to analyze the gap of spatial information between Abu Dhabi and Korea and suggest the short and long term development methods for spatial data infrastructure of Abu Dhabi. The results of gap analyses will be the milestone for Korean companies' advance into MENA.

The thesis examines new innovation of various aspect to overcome lots of problems which come by when we execute simplification of trade procedure and administration fairly. Practical implications regarding the innovation of electronic trade infrastructure are as follows. First, it will propel the standardization of electronic trade section in the technical side and the construction atmosphere of international authentication system must be created. The work process should be redesigned in order to implement export-import procedures that meet the relevant standards. Second, the improvement of system for electronic process is necessary in the law and institutional aspect. In order to eliminate any obstacles to the trade procedure, clearer legal grounds regarding legitimate controls and minimum necessity must be established. Also, laws should be revised to admit mutual recognition among certification organizations, in lieu of international agreement-based mutual recognition between government. Third, the detailed improvement for the integration of the electronic trade infrastructure will be demanded. Additionally, user-centered quality management protocols should be established via connections with the systems already existing in governmental bodies. Fourth, various trade institution should harmonized and interconnected with other partners through mutual cooperation for standardization of operational system. A system which can monitor and remotely diagnose and resolve system errors should be established to provide tailor-made service and improve operational efficiency. At the same time, it is necessary to build a cooperative system to share information and promote comprehensive management for efficient operation.

Healthcare is one of the biggest industries that consume IT Infrastructure as a necessity. A reliable reach to secure private information is the essential goal. Most of the healthcare organizations either have their own custom solutions developed or third part CRM software tailored to their needs. This culture satisfies the usability internal to the organization but lacks the ability to provide public access to the users or even to take a step ahead and collaborate with like minded institutes for research and potential growth. Emergence of cloud computing has provided us the opportunity to take a step ahead and build applications available to users on a secure platform, with ability to scale the resources depending on the requirements. The effective use of hybrid and community cloud can create rock solid foundations for healthcare IT Infrastructure. These cloud deployment models not only caters the present needs of healthcare IT Infrastructure but also opens the possibilities to build applications and provide secure and reliable access beyond the limits of organizational boundaries.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has the potential to provide economic opportunities and help raise the social and political status of countries. For developing countries, ICT can be used as a tool for economic growth and social advancement in a short period of time. The benefits of ICT, however, are not only economic in nature. It can help improve professional skills, teaching quality, job creation, agricultural production, community involvement, and information use, personal relationships, and time use. These benefits are examples of how ICT has become an indispensable part of our lives. Myanmar is a developing country and is ranked low in the ICT Development Index. In terms of ICT development, Myanmar today is facing many issues such as a lack of telecommunication infrastructure, ICT awareness, electricity, and budget for ICT development. Among the economic reforms implemented by the recent government, the telecommunications sector has been opened up as a measure of economic reform. As a result of this reform, the telecommunications sector has been growing rapidly. Myanmar, however, remains behind other Asian countries. This paper discusses Myanmar's ICT infrastructure status, progress that has been made in the country's telecommunications over the last fifteen years, and the challenges that lie ahead.

The smart grid, a new open platform, is a core application for facilitating a creative economy in the era of the Internet of Things (IoT). Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) is one of the components of the smart grid and a two-way communications infrastructure between the main utility operator and customer. The smart meter records consumption of electrical energy and communicates that information back to the utility for monitoring and billing. This paper investigates the impact of a cybersecurity attack on the smart meter. We analyze the cost to the smart grid in the case of a smart meter attack by authorized users based on a high risk scenario from NESCOR. Our findings could be used by policy makers and utility operators to create investment decision-making models for smart grid security.
