Peer assessment is the process of assessment of students by other students and one form of innovative assessment. It actively involves students in the assessment process and is generally agreed that such involvement enhances the quality and effectiveness of the learning process, since assessing something and benchmarking process is a powerful aid to mastering it themselves. It is more effective on the hard courses for them to understand. In this article we present a peer assessment technique which was applied to students enrolled in a mathematical statistics course and a historical course. In order to measure the effectiveness of the technique, students had to evaluate their colleagues based on predefined criteria and a comparison is presented between the instructor assessments and the peer assessment.

We live in an age of information and an era of rising environmental awareness. As a result, efficient and judicious use of environmental information has become a prerequisite to planning and management of environmental affairs in contemporary societies. So, we have embarked on a study of Environmental Information System(EIS). In the first article, we discussed the status analysis of EIS in Korea, USA, and Japan. This study as the second project has three major components. First, it classifies items and sources of 22 EIA factors. Second, it explains building of environmental information comprising geographic and attribute data of 17 factors. Finally, the study presents applications of EIS as an alternative assessment of suitability analysis. Based on these analysis, the study makes some recommendations and conclusions.

본고는 사서교사가 정보이용교육을 실시하는 데 필수적인 수행평가 방법 및 도구를 개발하기 위한 것이다. 사서교사의 정보이용교육에서 중요한 영역이 평가이다. 그런데 지금까지 사서교사의 교육 활동은 평가 방법에 대한 연구가 거의 없는 실정이다. 다만, 초 중등학교 정보와 도서관 교육과정에 평가 영역이 제시되어 있을 뿐이다. 이에, 사서교사가 실시하는 정보이용교육을 위한 수행평가 방법 및 도구의 개발은 중요한 의미를 갖는다. 평가 방법과 도구는 평가이론과 목표준거에 입각하여 개발되어야 한다. 본고의 최종적인 목적은 현장 사서교사들이 수행평가이론과 목표준거를 바탕으로 정보이용교육을 위한 다양한 수행평가 방법, 도구, 사례를 구현할 수 있도록 하는 데 있다.

환경영향평가 정보지원시스템은 환경영향평가 관련 정보의 다양화, 최신화 및 질적 향상, 그리고 평가서 및 협의 의견 등의 자료를 데이터베이스화를 통하여 평가서 작성의 기간단축 및 사회적 비용절감과 안정적인 서비스를 제공하여 사용자의 편이를 제공하여 환경평가제도 운영의 효율성을 극대화하기 위하여 추진되고 있다. 이 연구에서는 본 시스템의 지리정보서비스를 소개하고 사용자들의 편의성 향상과 서비스 지원범위 확대 등을 위하여 시스템 사용자의 설문조사를 통한 지리정보서비스의 활용성 개선방안을 제시하고자 수행하였다. 지리정보의 자료 업데이트 관련한 개선방안으로 환경공간정보의 자료수집, 구축, 그리고 활용을 위한 일원화된 인벤토리 구축을 위하여 데이터하우스의 단계별 유통 및 연계방안을 수립하여 제시하였다.

The purpose of this paper is to provide several considerations to be taken into account when institutionalizing the information security(Infosec) pre-assessment. Infosec pre-assessment is a necessary process to embed the security requirements into the information systems at the early stages in their development, resulting in more cost-effective infosec. In order to provide some institutional issues, domestic infosec assessment schemes and U.S. Infosec certification and accreditation schemes are reviewed. Also, the current status of infosec implementation in the public information systems projects is analyzed. Based on the analyses, the seven suggestions are proposed in developing and performing the infosec pre-assessment scheme.

Risk assessment of a railway system should be periodically conducted managing a large amount of accumulating accident/incident data and scenarios, which generally requires enormous time and efforts. Therefore, special information management system is essential for railway risk assessment, where data needed for decisions on managing the railway safety could be promptly supported. In this study, we develop the framework of a railway risk assessment information management system (RAIMS). The RAIMS is composed of two main modules: 1) hazard data processing module; 2) and risk assessment module. Hazard data could be turned into risk information using these two modules. The RAIMS will be useful in finding hazard conditions, quantitatively assessing the risk, and providing pertinent risk measures, eventually serving to prevent railway accidents and reduce severities of railway accidents.

본 논문에서는 도시지역 내 건축물의 지진 안전도를 평가하기 위하여 건축 구조학적인 자료조사와 실험결과를 데이터베이스화하고 여기에 GIS를 연계하여 지진의 위험도를 체계적으로 관리하고 분석할 수 있는 지진재해관리용 정보체계구축의 가능성을 제시하였다. 내진성능 평가를 위하여 건축물 대장과 건축도면, 수치지형도 등을 활용하여 건물의 구조, 주요 구조부재 등 지진내진평가 항목별로 자료를 수집 정리한 후 현장조사를 통해 자료를 보완하였으며, 내진 성능평가를 실시하고 종합평가지수를 산정한 후 지진 위험도를 평가함으로서 지진재해를 효과적으로 대처하고 관리할 수 있는 GIS 기반 정보체계를 구축하였다. 향 후 건물별 지진 위험도를 평가하는 절차와 방법을 모듈화 할 경우 보다 신속하고 정확한 지진재해정보관리체계를 구축할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop a detailed clinical model for recording initial nursing assessment items, and to test the applicability of the model to facilitate semantic interoperability for sharing and exchanging nursing information. Methods: First, the researchers extracted items by analyzing initial nursing assessment records. Second, defining characteristics were identified by analyzing nursing records and reviewing the literature. Third, value sets for defining characteristics were identified and types and cardinalities of defining characteristics were defined based on the value sets. Finally, the detailed clinical model was tested through evaluation by experts and comparison with the initial nursing assessment in a clinical setting. Results: Sixty-one detailed clinical models were developed with 178 defining characteristics and value sets. The experts evaluation and comparison with the initial nursing assessment in a clinical setting showed that the detailed clinical model developed in this study was valid. Conclusion: Use of this detailed clinical model can ensure that the Electronic Health Record contains meaningful and valid information and supports semantic interoperability of nursing information. This use will promote quality in the nursing records and eventually quality of nursing care.

본 연구에서는 현행 환경영향평가 시행에 제공되고 있는 환경영향평가정보지원시스템(EIASS)의 서비스 기능 가운데 가장 실무적 활용도가 많은 환경지리정보서비스시스템(EIAGIS)의 기능을 개선하기 위하여 공간정보오픈플랫폼(Vworld)의 오픈API서비스기능의 활용방안을 실제 환경영향 평가가 시행된 사례를 대상으로 제시하였다. 연구내용을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 먼저 환경영향평가 시행에 있어 실제 EIAGIS의 활용도는 DB의 갱신한계와 2D위주의 낮은 품질의 지형정보 제공 등으로 인하여 매우 저조하였다. 이에 대한 개선방안으로 현재 국토부에서 제공하고 있는 Vworld의 오픈API서비스기능을 활용하여 환경영향평가를 시행하는 실무 수요자의 요구에 맞는 새로운 서비스 개발이 가능하다는 것을 제시하였다. 향후 Vworld을 활용한 EIASS를 구축할 경우 사업계획수립 초기단계에서 사업대안의 설정에 유용한 정보를 제공하는 컨설팅 역할을 수행할 수 있으며, 환경영향평가 시 맞춤형 정보제공이 가능하여 협의기관과 평가대행자간의 동일한 프로그램을 사용함으로서 평가서의 신뢰도 향상과 신속한 협의가 기대될 것으로 예상된다.
