Contents Framework of Information Devices Education for the Computer Science Education in Elementary School (초등학교에서 정보과학교육을 위한 정보기기교육의 내용 체계)

  • This is the study of contents framework of information devices education for the computer science education in elementary school. In this study, we organize and suggest the educational contents of the information device education and its achievement for computer science education in elementary. For this, the educational contents of information device education in Korea and other countries were investigated. Then we selected some contents of information device education that can be applied to the computer science education. With this contents framework of information devices education for the computer science education in elementary school were made. This study will contribute to the curriculum development of computer science at the national level.

  • Computer education currently executed at elementary schools showed problems of system of education curriculum, repetition, and lack of consistent system as a result of analyzing index for information and communication technology, education curriculum, and related literatures, and most of the education contents have difficulty to nurture logic thinking and problem-solving ability since they are composed mainly of software function learning. Concerning this issue, this study suggests an innovated computer education curriculum with reinforced information ethics field with computer principle, algorithm, and programming, in other words, a corrected and supplemented version of former content system based on computer science guidance cases of ACM education curriculum model of USA, computer education curriculum of state Tennessee, and information technology education curriculum of Great Britain judging that introduction of computer science factors are desperate to improve computer education curriculum in elementary schools.

  • This study proposed the unplugged learning strategy of computer science that makes more easily to understand learning contents and to improve logical thinking of learners in elementary school. We reorganized the contents of data structure in computer science. The students write project papers from their own experiences and daily lives in the classroom, not in the computer room as applying unplugged learning methods. The result of this study shows that students can better understand computer through a study method of computer science on their step of growth. Through this study, the learners can be the abilities of organizing digital data and increasing the logical thinking, based on information education.

  • Recently, the Ministry of education science and technology announced a revised information and communication technology curriculum, emphasizing aspects of computer science education rather than application of computer softwares. This change would benefit students to stimulate their thinking ability and facilitate creativity learning through in-depth understanding of principles of computer science, compared to the previous curriculum of computer education mainly focused on the skills of utilizing application softwares. Thus, the paper presents the design of a computer education curriculum based on the principles of computer science education, which would lead to trigger constructive ideas for improvements on the subject so that students may experience better education in the area.

  • 본 연구는 2016년 이후 2022년까지의 국내 정보영재 관련 연구를 분석하여 이를 통해 향후 정보영재 관련 연구의 방향을 모색하기 위해 시도되었다. 이를 위하여 한국교육학술정보원에서 제공하는 학술지 수록 총 38편의 논문을 대상으로 발행 연도, 연구 대상, 연구 주제, 연구 방법 등을 분석하였다. 그 결과 활발한 정보영재 관련 연구가 필요하고, 연구 주제 측면에서 정보영재 판별과 선발, 교원의 전문성에 관련된 연구가 필요하며, 내용 체계 기준으로 AI, 데이터 관련 연구가 필요함을 알 수 있었다.

  • This study show the improvement of the capability of the handling computer in the job to students in science of nursing though the investment of the capacity of the computer application and the realities of handling computer in real. A cause of the development of the Information Technology, currently in the view point of system management, the hospital works is manage by the HIS(Hospital Information System). The teaching of the computer application capability for the information in science of nursing must not be the one-way by supplier like one of the survey courses but must be adapted at real condition and to be focused to learner. Thus, we suggest that the education of the science of nursing should be changed from one of the survey courses to the education of the acquirement and experience on information system knowledge.

  • For the purpose of adapting positively to the information society, it is very important to develop the capabilities of the retrieve, gather, process and application for informations by making efficient use of computers. So, with a view to understanding the importance of computer and adjusting actively to the information society, the systematic policy to cultivate the ability of making the most of computers is strongly demended. Therefore this study is to make a curriculum and guide for improving the capability of applying computers systematically, through analyzing a curriculum of computer in Elementary, Middle and High Schools, and to develop a model of grading system to cultivate the ability of applying computers, which grades capabilities of its practical use.
