  • In this study, we investigated spatio-temporal eye-hand coordination by the "Global effect paradigm", a target-distracter configuration Global effect is observed a variety of visual tasks, for example, during rapid automatic tracking, scanning for target detail, and the comparison of target configurations. Global effect used to investigate eye-hand coordination with a task that presents a target close to a distracter. Eight young subjects participated in the experiments. The experiments consist of using a distracter less eccentric than the targe1 and using a distracter more eccentric than target. Each experiment consist of tasks which are making reference, pointing the target with watching visual stimulation(saccade) and pointing the target. The subject's task was to move towards the target as quickly as possible. We measured the eye movement by using EOG and the hand movement by using NDI Optotrak system. This study shows that eye and hand movement exists for global effect paradigm in spatio-temporal coordination.

  • This is an era of technology and with the rapid growth of the Internet, networks are continuously growing. Companies are shifting from simple to more complex networks. Since networks are responsible to transmit huge data which is often sensitive and a point of concern for hackers. Despite the sizes of the networks, all networks are subject to several threats. Companies deploy several security measures to protect their networks from unauthorized access. These security measures are implemented from the device level to the network level. Every security layer adds more to the security of the company's network. Firewalls are the piece of software that provides internal and external security of the network. Firewalls aim to enhance the device level as well as network-level security. This paper aims to investigate the different types of firewalls, their architecture, and vulnerabilities of the firewall. This paper improves the understanding of firewall and its various types of architecture.

  • We define the centered-net covering and the centered-net parking measure and then show that the regular sets induced by the two centered measures are equal for $C{\frac}{\delta}{R}$ almost everywhere.

  • In this paper we develop a new procedure to control stepsize for Runge- Kutta methods applied to both ordinary differential equations and semi-explicit index 1 differential-algebraic equation In contrast to the standard approach, the error control mechanism presented here is based on monitoring and controlling both the local and global errors of Runge- Kutta formulas. As a result, Runge-Kutta methods with the local-global stepsize control solve differential of differential-algebraic equations with any prescribe accuracy (up to round-off errors)

  • This paper deals with parabolic equations coupled via nonstandard growth sources, subject to homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions. Three kinds of necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained, which determine the complete classifications for non-simultaneous and simultaneous blowup phenomena. Moreover, blowup rates are given.

  • A fast Poisson solver on irregular domains, based on bound-ary methods, is presented. The harmonic polynomial approximation of the solution of the associated homogeneous problem provides a good practical boundary method which allows a trivial parallel processing for solution evaluation or straightfoward computations of the interface values for domain decomposition/embedding. • A parametric scheme is proposed for the numerical solution of the nonlinear Boussinesq equation. The numerical method is developed by approximating the time and the space partical derivatives by finite-difference re placements and the nonlinear term by an appropriate linearized scheme. The resulting finite-difference method is analyzed for local truncation error and stability. The results of a number of numerical experiments are given for both the single and the double-soliton wave. AMS Mathematics Subject Classification : 65J15, 47H17, 49D15.

  • We introduce and discuss a new numerical method for solving system of second order boundary value problems, where the solution is required to satisfy some extra continuity conditions on the subintervals in addition to the usual boundary conditions. We show that the present method gives approximations which are better than that produced by other collocation, finite difference and spline methods. Numerical example is presented to illustrate the applicability of the new method. AMS Mathematics Subject Classification : 65L12, 49J40.

  • Nonlinear hyperbolic differenctial equations have been a subject of intense research in the field of gas dynamics due to many engineering problems associated with high-speed airplanes missiles materials processing etc. Recently phenomena known from gas dy-namics are found to occur also in the microeletronic devices such as MOSFET. Here a few interesting mathematical problems are presented along with future areas of research.

  • The purpose of this paper is to give the classification of homogeneous integral table algebras of degree 5 containing a faithful real element of which 2. In fact, these algebras are classified to exact isomorphism, that is the sets of structure constants which arise from the given basis are completely determined. This is work towards classifying homogeneous integral table algebras of degree 5. AMS Mathematics Subject Classification : 20C05, 20C99.
