건설산업에 있어서 제조물책임법의 시행에 따른 영향과 대응방안 기초연구 (The Influence and Construction Strategies of Constructor under the PL Law in Construction Industry)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the rational plans of Construction Policies under Product Liability Law. The results of this study are summarized as follows: 1) Analytical survey of actual Influence under Product Liability Law in Construction Industry. 2) Review of Business Strategies of Constructor and Building Material Supplier. Although real estate including apartment is excepted from the application of product liability law, constructor are not perfectly free to the product liability law. And the expectancies of this paper are that it can be used as efficient data for improvement of system to systematize contents of Product Liability Law in korea.

Cultural Aspect of Conflict Behaviour in Construction -A Case Study from Turkey

  • Although much research has been conducted to identify the influence of culture on conflict management and resolution behaviours in organizational settings, no study has been done yet in the construction industry particularly in considering the influence of individual level individualistic and collectivistic values. Despite the key role of self-construal in explaining or predicting behaviour in interpersonal conflict, it has not received enough attention in construction management. Reflecting this necessity, the objective of this exploratory study was to establish, through the application of the Rahim Organizational Inventory (ROC II) instrument, how the cultural values of professionals of construction businesses relate to the application of different conflict-handling styles through self-construal. Data were collected using questionnaire surveys from construction professionals working in contracting firms. The findings illustrate the importance of self-construal type as an individual-level cultural variable in explaining the differences in the style of handling interpersonal conflict in the context of the construction industry.

Small Buyers Adoption of Reverse Aggregation Electronic Markets: A Case Study on the Korean Auto Repair Industry

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate factors which can lead small buyers to participate in a Reverse Aggregation Electronic Market (RAEM). Five factors including search, selection, price, delivery, and Internet literacy were selected as possible factors which are expected to influence small buyers' participation in a RAEM. This paper focused on a RAEM of the Korean automotive industry in which the third party aggregator formed a group of small automobile repair shops (ARS) and amassed buying power for them by building a buyer' oriented electronic market (EM). Survey data were collected from small ARS in South Korea. The results of the empirical analysis indicated that fast delivery and support for Internet illiteracy are potential incentives that could influence buyers' decisions to join a RAEM.

노인의 실버산업 이용실태에 관한 연구 - 여가서비스를 중심으로 (The study on the realities of silver industry - focusing on the consumption of leisure services)

  • This study aimed at identifying and analyzing consumption of leisure services in silver industry and factors that had effects on them. This focused on the consumption of leisure services and its influence on the variables related to change of elderly's attitude, because socio-economic environment structure is improved and average life span is prolonged. The main findings of the research were as follows: 1. Totally, the percentage of leisure services consumption not so high and kinds of leisure were not various. Also, the reason why they use leisure was just for self-development and their indifference to leisure made them not to use services. 2. There were significant differences in individual characteristics and family-environmental conditions relating the consumption of leisure services in the silver industry. 3. Among variables which influence on the consumption of leisure of the elderly, job was the most significant factors. Also average monthly income, the changable inclination in food, clothing and shelter, social support of the family, status of residing, status of health and source of income were influential variables.

미디어 노출이 성형 행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Media on Taking Plastic Surgery)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of media on plastic surgery experiment. Firstly this study try to find the relationship between exposure to media and other intervening factors(e.g., body image, self-esteem, fashion attitude). The data collected for this study was gathered through questionnaire survey with 443 female students in Seoul. The results are as follows: Using ANOVA, we found that those prefer the magazine over TV or Internet had positive body image, higher self-esteem, and positive fashion attitude(e.g., personality/self-expression, fashion leadership, sexual attraction). Using regression analysis, we found that the we found that the factors influence plastic surgery behavior are the exposure to magazine and the factors influence plastic surgery planning are the clothing attitude (especially fashion leading power, sexual attraction).

미국의 셰일가스 개발과 석유화학 산업의 영향 (Influence of Shale Gas in US on Petrochemical Industry)

  • In this paper, the present status of shale gas development was briefly introduced and intended the growing importance and shale gas as a source of chemicals. The large amounts of shale are expected to be produced thereby, a wealth of methane and ethane will be provided as a raw material of ethylene. This manuscript also focus on the influence of potential volumes of shale gas on petrochemical industry, especially domestic one based on naphtha cracking because ethane cracking can offer cost effective ways to convert methane to higher value chemicals.

무인항공기 산업의 경제적 파급효과 분석 (An Analysis of the Economic Effects of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) Industry)

  • 본 논문에서는 산업연관분석을 적용하여 무인항공기 산업과 관련된 기술별 경제적 파급효과를 분석한다. 구체적으로 고용창출효과와 부가가치유발효과, 감응도 계수, 영향력 계수를 산출할 수 있으며, 분석결과에 대한 시사점을 제시하기로 한다. 분석결과, 고용유발효과는 투자액 10억원당 10.017명으로 확인되었으며, 부가가치유발효과는 1원의 예산이 투입될 경우, 0.9771원의 부가가치가 발생하여 타제조업 평균치(고용유발계수: 2.285, 부가가치유발계수: 0.581) 대비 모두 월등히 높은 수치를 보였다. 한편, 무인항공기 산업은 전방연쇄효과를 의미하는 감응도 계수는 0.7870로 제조업 평균치(감응도 계수: 1.125)보다 낮고, 후방연쇄 효과를 의미하는 영향력 계수는 각각 1.161로 제조업 평균치(영향력 계수: 1.116)보다 높기 때문에 최종 수요적 제조업형 산업으로 분류된다. 이는 무인항공기 산업이 경기변동에 영향을 적게 받는 산업임을 의미하며, 다른 부문에 비해서 투자지출대비 경제적 파급효과가 큰 산업으로 해석이 가능하다. 이러한 정략적 데이터를 기반으로 무인항공기 산업의 기술별 R&D 투자 방향 정책을 수립하는데 활용될 수 있다.

외식 프랜차이저의 사업성, 커뮤니케이션, 모럴해저드가 프랜차이지의 위험지각과 재계약의도에 미치는 영향 (The Study on the Influence of Selection Characteristics of Franchise System, business possibility, Communication, Moral Hazard on Franchisee's Perceived Risk, and Recontracting Intention in the Food Service Franchise Industry)

  • 본 연구는 프랜차이즈 본사의 선택속성으로서 사전지원, 사후지원, 지각된 사업성과, 가맹본부와 가맹점의 커뮤니케이션, 가맹본부의 모럴해저드 등 외생변수가 매개변수인 가맹점의 만족과 위험지각에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이들 매개 변수가 다시 신뢰와 결과변수인 재계약의도에 미치는 영향관계를 분석하였다. 기존의 연구들과 차별점으로, 가맹본부의 가맹점에 대한 지원을 개점 전 지원인 사전지원으로, 개점 후 지원인 사후지원으로 구분하였고, 가맹점이 실제 사업운영 과정에서 느끼는 가장 중요한 지각된 사업성, 그리고 가맹본부와 가맹점의 쌍방향성의 커뮤니케이션 정도, 또 가맹본부의 모럴해저드를 연구모델에 설정하여 가맹점 만족, 위험지각, 신뢰, 재계약의도 등의 관계를 프랜차이즈 시스템의 실질적 관점에서 조사한 점이라고 할 수 있다. 연구결과 (1)가맹본부의 사전지원, 사후지원, 지각된 사업성, 커뮤니케이션, 모럴해저드는 가맹점 만족에 영향을 미쳤고, (2)지각된 사업성, 커뮤니케이션, 모럴해저드는 위험지각에도 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, (3)만족과 위험지각, 신뢰 모두 재계약의도에 유의한 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 향후 프랜차이즈 산업발전에 발전적인 시사점을 제시하였다.

산업내 무역과 해외직접투자의 관계 : 한.중간 기계 및 운수장비 산업을 중심으로 (The Relationship between Intra-Industry Trade and FDI: A Case of Machinery and Transport Equipment Trade between Korea and China)

  • This study presents the pattern and determinants of intra-industry trade in Korea's machinery and transport equipment industry focusing the influence of foreign direct investment on intra-industry trade. Using an OLS regression model the determinants of intra-industry trade are investigated. Results indicate that a statistically significant negative relationship is found between intra-industry trade and foreign direct investment, and show that intra-industry trade is positively affected by the degree of product differentiation and export structure similarity. Intra-industry trade is also positively associated with the economies of scale, the level of trade barrier, and transportation costs, although this is not statistically significant. The study found strong evidence that the propensity of foreign direct investment toward export specialized industry makes the negative relationship between intra-industry trade and foreign direct investment.

The Present and Prospect of China IT industry

  • China has been aware of the urgent need of developing electronic and information industry in order to improve its productivity. Since 1991, IT industry has been one of the main factors to influence China's economic growth. In the results of the efforts to develop its IT industry, China has achieved average 25% yearly growth rate of IT manufacturing industry since 1991. We will take a look at haw the main IT products' performances was, how the role of IT industry was in China economy and in China's trade and how the prospect of China IT industry will be. However, we need to know that, depending an the different areas, the environment of the China's IT industry will be quite different. In China, the east coastal area has the better environment of technology, menpower, infrastructure, and fund for the development of IT industry and the IT industry of this area is very competitive, comparing with the middle and west area.
