  • 3D Printing technology is developing in various prototypes for medical treatment, food, fashion as well as machinery and equipment parts production. 3D printing technology is also able to fully be utilized to other industries in terms of developing its technology which has been reported in many field of areas. 3D printing technology is expected to be used in various applications related to $4^{th}$ industrial revolution such as finished products and parts even it is still carried out in the prototype model. In this study, we have investigated and developed conductive resin for 3d printing application based on reduced graphene oxide(rGO)/Polypyrrole(Ppy) composite and polycaprolactone(PCL) as a biodegradable polymer. The electrical properties and surface morphology of the conductive PCL resin based on therGO/Ppy composite were analyzed by 4point-probe and scanning electron microscope(SEM). The conductive PCL resin based on rGO/Ppy composite is expected to be applicable not only 3D printing, but also electronic materials in other industrial fields.

  • With the rise of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and I-Korea 4.0, both of which pursue strategies for industrial innovation and for the solution to social problems, the real estate industry needs to change in order to make effective use of available space in smart environments. The implementation of smart spaces is a promising solution for this. The smart space is defined as a good use of space, whether it be a home, office, or retail store, within a smart environment. To enhance the use of smart spaces, efficient decision-making and well-timed and accurate interaction are required. This paper proposes a smart space based on platform which takes advantage of emerging technologies for the efficient storage, processing, analysis, and utilization of big data. The platform is composed of six layers - collection, transfer, storage, service, application, and management - and offers three service frameworks: activity-based, market-based, and policy-based. Based on these smart space services, decision-makers, consumers, clients, and social network participants can make better decisions, respond more quickly, exhibit greater innovation, and develop stronger competitive advantages.

Am Empirical Study on the Tension of Insecurity and Autonomy of Online Platform Work (온라인 플랫폼 노동에서 불안과 자율성의 긴장관계에 대한 실증분석)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to examine the effect that insecurity and autonomy of platform work have an influence on work-life balance and psychological well-being in an era of platform economy based on two characteristics of online platform work and self-determination theory. Design/methodology/approach This study suggested the structural equation model integrating two antecedents, insecurity and autonomy, work-life balance, and psychological well-being and proposed five hypotheses driven from the research model. A total of 334 valid samples were collected from platform workers by employing questionnaire including 24 question items of four constructs. Findings Three hypotheses were supported and one hypothesis was not supported at the significance level of 0.05. Insecurity of platform work has a negative influence on work-life balance at the significance level of 0.01, whereas insecurity of platform work has no a significant influence on psychological well-being. Autonomy of platform work has a positive influence on both work-life balance and psychological well-being at the significance level of 0.01. Work-life balance has a positive impact on psychological well-being at the significance level of 0.001. Insecurity have an influence on psychological well-being indirectly through mediation of work-life balance. Implications for academicians and practitioners were suggested.

A Study on Fruit Quality Identification Using YOLO V2 Algorithm

  • Currently, one of the fields leading the 4th industrial revolution is the image recognition field of artificial intelligence, which is showing good results in many fields. In this paper, using is a YOLO V2 model, which is one of the image recognition models, we intend to classify and select into three types according to the characteristics of fruits. To this end, it was designed to proceed the number of iterations of learning 9000 counts based on 640 mandarin image data of 3 classes. For model evaluation, normal, rotten, and unripe mandarin oranges were used based on images. We as a result of the experiment, the accuracy of the learning model was different depending on the number of learning. Normal mandarin oranges showed the highest at 60.5% in 9000 repetition learning, and unripe mandarin oranges also showed the highest at 61.8% in 9000 repetition learning. Lastly, rotten tangerines showed the highest accuracy at 86.0% in 7000 iterations. It will be very helpful if the results of this study are used for fruit farms in rural areas where labor is scarce.

  • Accounting is one of the fields greatly affected by the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in general and the digital transformation trend in particular. However, the digital transformation process will also be a weakness if domestic accounting and auditing training activities do not adapt promptly and keep up with the practical requirements of social needs. Job opportunities in the accounting industry will shrink due to increased labor productivity and increasing support technologies, leading to a decrease in the need for traditional accountants. This paper focuses on clarifying the shortcomings and difficulties in accounting training activities by surveying 120 accounting lecturers teaching at domestic universities. Research results show that there are six existing factors and difficulties in accounting training activities due to the digital transformation process, including: facilities, lecturer capacity, training programs, teaching methods. teaching, assessment methods and practice and practice activities. Based on the survey results, we propose recommendations for training activities due to the impact of digital transformation at universities in Vietnam.

  • With the recent start of the 4th Industrial Revolution, markets related to autonomous driving are rapidly developing. In order to understand the rapidly developed technology trend of autonomous driving technology, we would like to investigate the characteristics and differences of level 0 to level 5 of autonomous driving. The overall configuration, recognition technology, and auxiliary technologies of autonomous vehicles are analyzed, and through this, the structure and algorithm of autonomous driving technology are identified. In addition, by manufacturing a simulated autonomous RC car using an ultrasonic sensor and a camera, the necessity of recognition technology and auxiliary technology is identified.

Relationships Among Owner-Manager Characteristics, E-commerce Adoption and Performance of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia

  • This study examined the relationships among owner-manager characteristics, e-commerce adoption, and performance of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia. Although the growth of e-commerce was encouraging in many countries, studies of e-commerce adoption among SMEs in developing countries such as Malaysia are insufficient. Furthermore, studies that investigated individual characteristics and e-commerce adoption are still low in number. This study specifically employed the technology-organization-environmental (TOE) framework to develop its research model. The sample was selected by using a non-probability judgmental sampling technique because the desired population frame was unavailable. A total of 111 owner-managers of SMEs were surveyed using online self-administered questionnaires. Subsequently, the data was analyzed through partial least square-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results revealed significant relationships between owner-manager characteristics and e-commerce adoption, as well as between e-commerce adoption and the performance of SMEs. The findings suggested that owner-manager characteristics played an important role in determining e-commerce adoption among SMEs. Moreover, e-commerce adoption was crucial in affecting the performance of SMEs. This paper provided new insights into factors affecting e-commerce adoption and firm performance. It could further benefit the government and SMEs in strategizing e-commerce adoption and development, especially in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0) and the post-COVID-19 pandemic.

The effect of experiential marketing factors of fashion service applying 4th industrial revolution technology on customer acceptance and use : focusing on 3D printing, internet of things, and innovation (4차 산업 기술 패션 서비스 체험마케팅 요인이 소비자 수용과 이용에 미치는 영향 : 3D프린팅, 사물인터넷, 혁신성을 중심으로)

  • This study analyzed the influence of experiential marketing factors of 3D printing and Internet services on technology acceptance factors and usage intention. Furthermore, we analyzed how the user's innovativeness shows the effect on the intention to use. Data acquired from a total of 518 college students was used for the final analysis, which was perfromed by SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 23.0 programs. The results of this study are as follows. We analyzed the influence of the experiential marketing factors of fashion service utilizing the 3D printing and the Internet of Things on the acceptance of technology and intention to use these technologies. As for 3D printing, first, sensory and behavioral factors are positively related to the acceptance of technology. Second, emotional and cognitive factors have negative effects on all technology acceptance. Third, relational factors did not show a significant influence on several conditions of technology acceptance. Fourth, the effects of technology acceptance on the willingness to use have a positive effect on several conditions factors, except the effort expectation. As for the result concerning the Internet of Things first, behavioral factors have a positive effect on all technology acceptance. Second, emotional factors have a negative effect on all technology acceptance. Third, cognitive factors did not have a significant effect on various conditions and showed negative effects on several factors. Fourth, sensory and relational factors did not affect the acceptance of technology. Fifth, the effects of technology acceptance on the intention to use are affected by several conditions, except for effort expectation. As a result of analyzing the moderating effects of user's innovativeness on the willingness to use, 3D printing did not show any significant effect on innovation. However, the Internet of Things has a significant influence on the user acceptance of technology acceptance.

  • It is currently undergoing the fourth industrial revolution, which is the convergence of ICT and manufacturing, connecting both industrial equipment and production processes to one network and communicating with each other. The fact that they are connected to one network has the advantage of management, but there is a risk of security. In particular, Wi-Fi can be easily accessed by outsiders through a software change of the MAC address or password exposures. In this paper, by applying the method of Beacon using a Bluetooth Low Energy Add in Bluetooth 4.0, we propose a system of black-box approach to secure connections to wireless Internet, users do not have to know the password. We also implemented the proposed system using the raspberry pi and verified the effectiveness of a real-time system by testing the communication.

  • Advances in web technology have enabled technical convergence in various system environments to be carried out through the web interface. The Web can be categorized from the Web 1.0 to the 4.0, depending on its role, it has the characteristics of connects information, connects people, connects knowledge, and connects intelligence. In addition, various technological needs occurred through the mobile app during the 4th Industrial Revolution, and functions such as 3D, virtual reality, augmented reality, video/audio processing were enabled on the web, which was a simple means of providing information. Technical standards have been studied to support these period needs. In this paper, I would like to mention one of the Web assembly. We will explore ways to link and fuse Web assembly with existing web systems (or platforms) and analyze their technical implications through a variety of examples. In addition, we will conduct a study on the architecture that can fuse the existing javascript with the web assembly, and discuss the future direction of the study.
