To explain the performance gap between firms in the same industry, this study focuses on innovation. It provides a new framework using the dynamic-capability view based on empirical analysis of domestic businesses. The findings of this study are as follows: First, when the uncertainty and competition intensity in the business environment and the level of innovation have “fit”, it means that when the former goes up, so does the latter. In this regard, when the innovation capability of a firm is high, being “fit” means that the level of innovation is also high. When there was fitting innovation on industrial environment and innovation capacity, companies were able to achieve relatively high performance. Also, it was confirmed that instead of innovation for innovation capacity, innovation for industrial environment led to relatively higher performances of firms.

As the uncertainty of technology development and market needs increases due to changes in the global business environment, the interest and demand for R&D activities of individual companies are increasing. To respond to these environmental changes, technology commercialization players are paying great attention to enhancing the qualitative competitiveness of R&D. In particular, R&D companies in the marine and fishery sector face many difficulties compared to other industries. For example, the R&D environment is barren, it is challenging to secure R&D human resources, and it is facing a somewhat more difficult environment compared to other sectors, such as the difficulty in maintaining R&D continuity due to the turnover rate of researchers. In this study, based on the empirical data and patent status of private companies closely related to the R&D technology status, big data analysis, and simulation analysis methods were used to identify the relative position of individual companies' R&D capabilities and industrial perspectives. In this study, based on industrial evidence and patent applications closely related to the R&D technology status, the R&D capabilities of individual companies were evaluated using extensive data analysis and simulation analysis methods, and a statistical test was performed to analyze if there were differences in capabilities from an industrial point of view. At this time, the industries to be analyzed were based on all sectors, the maritime industry, the fisheries industry, and the maritime industry integration sector. In conclusion, it was analyzed that there was a certain level of difference in the R&D capabilities of individual companies in each industry sector, Therefore when developing a future R&D capability system, it was confirmed that it was necessary to separate the population for each industry and establish a strategy.
The purpose of this research was to test the effects of entrepreneurship and technological innovation capability on new product performance in SMEs and the moderating role of absorption capability. For this study, Research data were collected through questionnaire instruments from the sample of 374 employees in 18 SMEs of metropolitan area. The 336 sample was selected and analyzed by hierarchical regression technique. The results showed that entrepreneurship and technological innovation capability had a positive effect on new product performance. And also found out absorption capability had the moderate roles between all the three factors of technological innovation capability factors and new product performance, but not between all the three factors of entrepreneurship and new product performance. With the research results, the implications for technical management of SMEs were discussed, and the directions for future research were suggested.

The role of R&D center for technology commercialization can be categorized into three distinct stages: the first stage consists in developing industrial problem-solving capability; the second consists in catching up with industrialized economies developing creative imitations of imported technologies; and the third consists in acquiring advanced knowledge creation capability. Accordingly, the R&D center's organization should be aligned with this development strategy. This case study of Kazakhstan provide a managerial implication for the other developing countries. The first stage of development, which may be called the 'industrial problem solving stage,' the center will build the infrastructure in terms of both technology and human-resources. The second stage will involve building up 'knowledge capability' with a view to becoming a major industrial R&D hub in Central Eurasia. In the third stage, the center will create advanced knowledge as a 'world-class knowledge center'. In this regard, the evolution of the R&D center should be described according to the features of the center's services.
For cuboid and ellipsoid crystallites of LiFePO4 powders, by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and microscopic (TEM) studies, it is possible to determine the anisotropic parameters of the crystallite size distribution functions. These parameters were used to describe the cathode rate capability within the model of averaging the diffusion coefficient D over the length of the crystallite columns along the [010] direction. A LiFePO4 powder was chosen for testing the developed model, consisting of big cuboid and small ellipsoid crystallites (close to them). When analyzing the parts of big and small rate capabilities, the fitting values D = 2.1 and 0.3 nm2/s were obtained for cuboids and ellipsoids, respectively. When analyzing the results of cyclic voltammetry using the Randles-Sevcik equation and the total area of projections of electrode crystallites on their (010) plane, slightly different values were obtained, D = 0.9 ± 0.15 and 0.5 ± 0.15 nm2/s, respectively. We believe that these inconsistencies can be considered quite acceptable, since both methods of determining D have obvious sources of error. However, the developed method has a clearly lower systematic error due to the ability to actually take into account the shape and statistics of crystallites, and it is also useful for improving the accuracy of the Randles-Sevcik equation. It has also been demonstrated that the shape engineering of crystallites, among other tasks, can increase the cathode capacity by 15% by increasing their size correlation coefficients.

Many countries around the world are pursuing various support policies to foster start-ups national widely in order to secure new economic growth engines in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The South Korean government announced the diffusion strategy for the 2'nd round Start-up Boom in March 2019 and is promoting the support policies for start-up incubating by various programs. Many incubators and startup accelerators operate various kinds of programs to foster start-ups using government financial supports. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of entrepreneurship and technical capability of entrepreneurs as the internal factors of the technology-based start-ups and the effects of programs supported by the government as an external factor on the corporate performance of a start-up company, and the mediating effects of core competence of start-ups were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS. The results show that the entrepreneurship, technical capability and the programs supported by incubators or accelerators had no direct effects on the corporate performance of a start-up, but the core competence of the company had complete mediating effects. In addition, the type of program supported by the comprehensive accelerator programs or the marketing supports had effects on the core competence rather than simple financial supports. Lastly, the policy proposals for incubating program support and future research directions along with the limitation are suggested.

This paper attempts to identify the factors which are directly related to the effective transfer of technology from developed countries to LDCs. The recipient countries should have the capability of alteration/adaptation based on cost-minimization criteria. Some problems are such that technologies are transferred on the conditions of MNFs, packaged forms and under state management which result in lack of competitive pressure. Non-technological criteria are shown to be a problem under state management in the transaction of technology.
Embedded industry has emerged as one of the important industry for u-IT based application service. Technology development related to embedded hardware and software provides the base for the development of U-IT convergence industry. This study intends to suggest a research model to investigate the influence of industry, organization, technology factors on technology performance in the embedded companies. This study adopted research variables such as global network, local network, industry intensity, and technology capability as independent variables, with technology performance as a dependent variable from the existing literatures. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of industrial and organizational factors on technology performance of embedded companies SCM systems, including the moderating effect of government support. 94 companies data were collected by survey. The result of this empirical study is summarized as follows. First, local network and technology capability are the important determinants to influence technology performance of embedded companies in direct effect model. Second, global network and industry intensity has more positive influence on technology performance of embedded companies through a moderating variable of government support.
Purpose: Environmental contamination has lately been seen as a consequence of the rise in environmental challenges brought on by rapid industrial expansion. At this point, the current research asks an important question about what the factors are to motivate employees' green performance, increasing corporate sustainability. Research design, data and methodology:The current author selected total 19 items to obtain real data and achieve the purpose of this research. For measuring of the causality between the worker's innovative capability and green performance, the current author used the multiple regression statistical tool using U.S. 215 responses in four industry. Results: The statistical finding definitely indicated that there exists the causal linkage between two key factors (Innovation capability and green performance) as well as the strong direction between two constructs. Demand for construction technology is expected to change due to changes in domestic and foreign construction markets and the fourth industrial revolution. In particular, demand for project management strategy and project management capability is even more increasing rather than existing production technology capability. However, the current re-education program for engineers and technicians in construction industry is not matching the need of improving capacity required to reflect the demand of construction technology from construction industry. Therefore, in this study, as a part of efforts in innovating the current global construction talent re-education system to cope with the change in the construction industry, we analyzed the difference between the demand of construction technology and the present condition of construction re-education program. In order to investigate the current status of re-education of construction, questionnaires were prepared to gather opinions from construction engineers who attended construction re-education program and also from industrial partners that are jointly doing business. This study can be an example to improve the construction re-education program as a system for substantially reinforcing the competence of engineers rather than those programs that are merely verifying and/or extending engineers' certification.
