Door Inside Lamp of railway rolling stock is installed on interior of the side doors and illuminated at door opening and closing, isolation and fault. So drivers or passengers can notice the door status visually. In the past, a single color or Bi-color LED Lamps have been using and one ~ multiple lamp was used to implement the feature according to client's requirements. (Example: Total of between 2 and 4 lamps are required for the Warning / Emergency operation / Isolation / Fault.) However these design is not easy to apply if there is the mounting space restrictions and the problems such as rising costs can be caused. In addition, it has vulnerability from point of view aesthetic aspects. Therefore the lamp type has been required that has small size and number of colors in order to resolve these problems. Recently multi LED type door status indication lamp have been developed that can meet the requirements and this lamp has been applied in many railway projects. In this study, I'll introduce the general characteristics and mechanical & electrical characteristics of multi LED type door status indication lamp to help development of this kinds of lamp.

본 논문에서는 소형무인항공기용 이동표적 표시기법(MTI, Moving Target Indication)에 대한 기술 동향분석을 하였다. MTI는 크게 이미지 정렬과 차영상 오류보정 단계로 구성되는데 이중 이미지 정렬 기법에는 매개변수방식과 비매개변수방식이 있으며 본 논문에서는 매개변수방식을 사용한 이용한 MTI에 초점을 맞췄다. 소형무인항공기의 경우, 저고도 운용에 의한 시차문제가 발생하는데 이를 보정하기 위해서 등극기하학이 사용된다. MTI의 성능을 향상시키기 위한 관련기법들도 살펴보았으며 향후 발전방향을 제시하였다.

인스턴트 메시징(Instant Messaging:IM) 서비스는 인터넷상에서 사용자들 간에 간단한 메시지를 주고 받을 수 있는 유용한 통신 수단의 하나이다. 통상적으로 인스턴트 메시징 서비스는 Presence 서비스를 통하여 상호간에 온라인 상태를 제공받아 메시지를 직접 송수신하는 방식을 사용하는데 이는 사용자가 오프라인 상태일 경우에는 메시지의 송수신이 불가능함을 의미한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) 기반의 인스턴트 메시징 시스템을 구현함에 있어 메시지 서버를 이용하여 메시지를 보관 및 관리함으로써 상대방의 상태에 무관하게 메시지를 전송할 수 있도록 보완하였다. 또한 In working group에서 제안하고 있는 message waiting indication event package를 메시지 서버에 포함시켜 메시지의 정보 및 상태들을 제공받을 수 있도록 하였으며 사용자들이 메시지 서버의 사용을 명시할 수 있는 Caller Preference 기능을 시스템에 포함시켰다.

Self-contained portable remote-indicating magnetic compass was designed and tested. Its sensing part consists of main scale disk of rotary encoder with photo-etched 180, oopaque slits and three pairs of light sources and detectors seperated by a transparent index scale, so that any angular deflection of main scale disk against the bowl may be detected optically. The outputs from the sensing part are transformed into digital ship's course indication by electronics unit which consists of operational amplifier, phase discriminator, up-down counter and counting starter circuit. The results from testign the above compass with turntable at variable rate of turn are as following : 1) The main scale disk deflection against the bowl can be detected without any disturbing influence to the freedom of its north-seeking function. 2) The digital indication resolution is found to be $\circ \pm$1 degree. 3) Misrepresenting indication can be avoided by ensuring dimension uniformity and arrangement accuracy of slits on main and index scale disks and by centering pivot in the encoder disk. 4) Indication resolution should be improved by modifying the signal processing and by doubling the number of slits on compass card. 5) Further study should be made on developing non-conductive compass liquid, analogue repeater driving system and more compact processing element.

In this paper, an filtering method of FI(Fault Indication) information generated by FRTU(Feeder Remote Terminal Unit)s is proposed for the present DAS(Distribution Automation System). In order to find fault area, correct FI information should be generated. But when a single line-to-ground fault occurs, FI information is generated in downside of the fault in some circumstance because existing FI algorithm considers only magnitude. These wrong FI information can be removed by changing existing algorithm. An improved algorithm considers both the direction of zero-sequence current and the phase of three-phase current&voltage. But many FRTUs are distributed in DAS and Changing the algorithm all of FRTU will spend a lot of time and cost. On the other hand, an filtering algorithm proposed in this paper can substitute for it. The filtering algorithm also considers both the direction of zero-sequence current and the phase of three-phase current&voltage. In case study, the proposed method has been shown the reasonability in filtering the fault indication information.

본 논문에서는 멀티캐스트 가용비트율 (Available Bit Rate: ABR) 서비스를 위해 현재 ATM 포럼 등을 통해 제안되고 있는 신속한 폭주 통지 (fast overload indication) 기능을 기존 피드백통합 알고리즘들에 적용하여 이들의 성능을 시뮬레이션을 통해 비교 분석하였다. 성능 분석의 지표로 송신원의 허용된 셀률 (Allowed Cell Rate: ACR), 스위치에서의 큐 길이, 링크 이용 효율, 공평성, 역방향 자원관리 셀 (Backward Resource Management: BRM) 셀의 오버헤드 등을 사용하였다. 분석 결과, 신속한 폭주 통지 기능이 추가된 피드백 통합 알고리즘들은 망에 심각한 폭주가 발생한 경우에 매우 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. 신속한 폭주 통지 기능은 기본적인 피드백 통합 알고리즘에 관계없이 쉽게 추가될 수 있는 반면에, 이러한 기능이 추가된 알고리즘들의 성능은 기본적인 피드백 통합 알고리즘들의 성능에 매우 의존적임을 알 수 있었다.

Purpose: Lymphovascular invasion is a criterion for non-curative resection in patients who have undergone endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for early gastric cancer (EGC). We aimed to determine the rate of extragastric metastasis (EGM) and identify the predictors of EGM in patients with negative resection margins (R0 resection) and lymphovascular invasion in post-ESD pathology. Materials and Methods: A total of 2,983 patients underwent ESD for EGC. Among them, 110 had a pathology of R0 resection and positive lymphovascular invasion. Patients underwent additional gastrectomy (n=63) or further follow-up without gastrectomy (n=47). Results: The 110 patients were assigned to one of the 3 groups according to ESD indications based on post-ESD pathology. The first group satisfied the absolute indication for ESD (n=18), the second group satisfied the expanded indications for ESD (n=34), and the last group satisfied the beyond indication (n=58). The number of occurrences of EGM in each group was 1 (5.6%), 3 (8.8%), and 3 (5.2%), respectively. The logistic regression analysis adjusted for age, sex, tumor size, and indication for ESD, showed that larger tumor size was associated with EGM (odds ratio, 1.76; 95% confidence interval, 1.00-3.10; P=0.048). In contrast, ESD indication criteria did not affect EGM (P=0.349). Conclusions: Tumor size was the only predictive indicator for EGM in patients who underwent R0 resection and lymphovascular invasion on post-ESD pathology. Even patients with pathology corresponding to the absolute indication criteria of ESD had lymphovascular invasion, which means that they require additional gastrectomy due to the risk of EGM.

The paper describes a new instrument for early detection of Alzheimer's disease. A new instrument for early detection of Alzheimer's disease is constructed on both the questionnaire for the investigation of living environment, and the lists for the functional tests of the sense, the physiology, and the left and right brains. When the medical doctor has made a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, the demented patient does not recover the indication adding available treatments. Then, the indication of a patient only takes a turn for the worse. For the demented patient can be kept his/her life style, Alzheimer's disease can make an early detection using a new instrument before a diagnosis of the dementia. And the indication of a demented patient can be delayed by the available medical treatments.

Geographical Indication (GI) has been used with the expectation to influence customer buying behavior. In this research, we empirically investigate if such relationship exists using apple price changes in Korea along with web search traffic reflecting customers' interest in GI. The experimental results indicate that the apple price of the past, apple supply and web search traffic including GI name were significant on the prediction of price change of Chungju while web search traffic of regional name and that of product were significant for Cheongsong apples with GI. In Yeongcheon with no GI, the apple price of the past turns out to be significant only. The results indicated that interests in GI can help the price prediction but the regional name itself can play the same role, if the GI product is well known in association with the region.
