The purpose of this study is to analyze environmental-friendly design features in landscape architecture. The process of the study first started theoretical research of 'Environmental-friendly' and 'Landscape', then extracted primary conceptual elements that based on ecological background, and analyze 20 cases, from 1990 to now, based on elements that extracted. Summarizing about environment-friendly feature in landscape architecture of Form, Space, Energy Management is as following. First, In the formal aspect, Landscape architecture tend to harmonize with surrounding environment through horizontal, vertical continuity that is realized to transform artificial plate. Second, In the spatial aspect, Landscape architectural space has flexible feature. It is expression through methods blur boundary between outside and inside, lead to change and experience by time, indeterminacy of program. Third, In the energy management aspect, the introduction of effective energy system increase environmental features in space through technical application and environmental-friendly materials.

This study is focused on the indeterminacy of the contemporary social structure based on the philosophical concept of relationship. The purpose of this study is to present the index of the space planning that the contemporary society demands through analysis of a characteristics of the indeterminate program. As the result, we got a characteristic and a design method of the following indeterminate programs. (1)The characteristic of the interior space programs are in such cases as combined, the continuance, the pile, the juxtaposition, mixing and interference etc. (2) The characteristics of space planning are multiple changes of the space occupation, various sight experiences, folding structure, expansion of flow space, the insertion of a between spates etc. (3) The characteristic of space design expression is addition of various functions tv unification of a structural element and an element of furniture.

It is undeniable that the meanings usedinpractice are agreed feelings in the limited universe of discourerse of among the cognators of the linguistic expressions.The fact that the feelings are relative can be shown indirectly in terms of the indeterminacy of translations,because the feelings are not the physical object which can be visible or audible.However the agreed feelins also are not the absolute meanings,therefore these agreemnts are also relative depending on the situations used.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the trends of, the ugliness images expressed in Modern Make-up from 1995 to 2003, especially focusing on color, and to enlarge the possibility of expressions through formative elements such as shape·texture·details and to anticipate the prospect of the Make-up in the future. The results can be summarized as follows. First, Ugliness is the most negative aesthetic value which is lack of beauty, and ultimate beauty is achieved through the combination of beauty with ugliness. Second, the images of ugliness have been expressed in paintings and fashion. The 20 century paintings, representing the ugly shape are extremely exaggerated with yellow, red, black, blue, white, green. The shape have been distorted, deformed, destroyed. And Pluralism and De-constructivism with its traits of indeterminacy have become the background of ugliness images in Fashion.

Some wheelchair users with neuromuscular disorders experience involuntary extensor thrusts, which may cause injuries via impact with the wheelchair, cause the user to slide out of the wheelchair seat, and damage the wheelchair. Knowledge of the human-generated forces during an extensor thrust is of great importance in devising safer, more comfortable wheelchairs. This paper presents an efficient method for identifying human-generated forces during an extensor thrust. We used an inverse dynamic approach with a three-link human body model and a system for measuring human body motion. We developed an experimental system that determines the angular motion of each human body segment and the force at the footrest, which was used to overcome the mathematical indeterminacy of the problem. The proposed method was validated experimentally, illustrating the force-identification process during an extensor thrust.

Interval-valued neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy set (IVNHFS) is an extension of neutrosophic set (NS) and hesitant fuzzy set (HFS), each element of which has truth membership hesitant function, indeterminacy membership hesitant function and falsity membership hesitant function and the values of these functions lie in several possible closed intervals in the real unit interval [0,1]. In contrast with NS and HFS, IVNHFS can be more flexibly used to deal with uncertain, incomplete, indeterminate, inconsistent and hesitant information. In this study, I propose the novel correlation coefficient of IVNHFSs and my paper discusses its properties. Then, based on the novel correlation coefficient, I develop an approach to deal with multi-attribute decision-making problems within the framework of IVNHFS. In the end, a practical example is used to show that the approach is reasonable and effective in dealing with decision-making problems.

It is anticipated that, in the 21st century, aesthetic sense will be altered radically with the introduction of new value systems and ethical standards. At the beginning of the 21st century, new aesthetic senses and identities have already emerged and exerted influence to the society, arts and fashion trends. The purpose of this study is to analyze the aesthetic characteristic of the transitional period of the 21st century. This study employed the qualitative analysis and the main aesthetic characteristics of the 21st transitional period were found as hybrid, technicism, neo-retro, new naturalism, and multi-nationalism. The transitional fashion in the 21s1 century mirrors the post-modern trends with diversity and indeterminacy as the basis of changes. It is expected that this pattern will continue to extend persistent and dominant influence to the future fashion industry. In the subsequent study, quantitative analysis wi]1 be conducted to verify the aesthetic characteristics analyzed in this study.

Exact analytical solutions for in-plane static problems of planar curved beams with variable curvatures and variable cross-sections are derived by using the initial value method. The governing equations include the axial extension and shear deformation effects. The fundamental matrix required by the initial value method is obtained analytically. Then, the displacements, slopes and stress resultants are found analytically along the beam axis by using the fundamental matrix. The results are given in analytical forms. In order to show the advantages of the method, some examples are solved and the results are compared with the existing results in the literature. One of the advantages of the proposed method is that the high degree of statically indeterminacy adds no extra difficulty to the solution. For some examples, the deformed shape along the beam axis is determined and plotted and also the slope and stress resultants are given in tables.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the major influence of postmodernism on 20th century fashion. Due to its characteristic traits like pluralism, indeterminacy, and immanence, it can be said that postmodernism in fashion manifests itself in an overlapped and duplicated style. The conceptual side has to do with such various 20th century thoughts as decanonization, deconstruction, populism, and in fashion it is presented as subcultural style, syncretic style, and post-feminist style. The stylistic side of postmodernism in fashion also has to do with fragmentation, hybridity, stress on performance and participation, carnivalization, deconstructive turn, and it is presented as hybrid expression, deconstructive technique, performance, and so on. In the latter part of the 20th century in which postmodernism blossoms in various fields, fashion also participates in the current of the times, together with the rapid stylistic turn, the co-existence of various trends, and the experimental or avant-garde new trials. However, it should be said that all of these tendencies mean not so much blurring of the boundaries between styles as developmental mixture of styles coming from juxtaposition after fully realizing the boundaries of contrast and combination.

Externally prestressed structures have many advantages such as easy prestressing control and visible maintenance. Flexural strength of externally prestressed concrete members can be calculated by analysis of internal indeterminacy, which is different from internally prestressed concrete members. However, it needs nonlinear analysis considering member stiffness at strength limit state. Thus most of design codes proposed approximate methods which are empirical, based on test results. To reduce difference between accurate analysis and approximate design methods, many experiments and studies are continued. Since most of the experiments are single span beams. In order to adapt of continuous beam it needs further investigation for the continuous beam. In this study, we carried out externally prestressed 2-span concrete beam test to find out the flexural behavior and strength of externally prestressed concrete members.
