For clustering large-scale data, which cannot be loaded into memory entirely, incremental clustering algorithms are very popular. Usually, these algorithms only concern the within-cluster compactness and ignore the between-cluster separation. In this paper, we propose two incremental fuzzy compactness and separation (FCS) clustering algorithms, Single-Pass FCS (SPFCS) and Online FCS (OFCS), based on a fuzzy scatter matrix. Firstly, we introduce two incremental clustering methods called single-pass and online fuzzy C-means algorithms. Then, we combine these two methods separately with the weighted fuzzy C-means algorithm, so that they can be applied to the FCS algorithm. Afterwards, we optimize the within-cluster matrix and betweencluster matrix simultaneously to obtain the minimum within-cluster distance and maximum between-cluster distance. Finally, large-scale datasets can be well clustered within limited memory. We implemented experiments on some artificial datasets and real datasets separately. And experimental results show that, compared with SPFCM and OFCM, our SPFCS and OFCS are more robust to the value of fuzzy index m and noise.

In this study, the design methodology of radial basis function neural networks based on incremental K-means clustering is introduced for learning and processing the big data. If there is a lot of dataset to be trained, general clustering may not learn dataset due to the lack of memory capacity. However, the on-line processing of big data could be effectively realized through the parameters operation of recursive least square estimation as well as the sequential operation of incremental clustering algorithm. Radial basis function neural networks consist of condition part, conclusion part and aggregation part. In the condition part, incremental K-means clustering algorithms is used tweights of the conclusion part are given as linear function and parameters are calculated using recursive least squareo get the center points of data and find the fitness using gaussian function as the activation function. Connection s estimation. In the aggregation part, a final output is obtained by center of gravity method. Using machine learning data, performance index are shown and compared with other models. Also, the performance of the incremental K-means clustering based-RBFNNs is carried out by using PSO. This study demonstrates that the proposed model shows the superiority of algorithmic design from the viewpoint of on-line processing for big data.

In the area of data clustering in high dimensional space, one of the difficulties is the time-consuming process for computing vector similarities. It becomes worse in the case of the agglomerative algorithm with the group-average link and mean centroid method, because the cluster similarity must be recomputed whenever the cluster center moves after the merging step. As a solution of this problem, we present an incremental method of similarity computation, which substitutes the scalar calculation for the time-consuming calculation of vector similarity with several measures such as the squared distance, inner product, cosine, and minimum variance. Experimental results show that it makes clustering speed significantly fast for very high dimensional data.
With the development of the internet and computer, the amount of information through the internet is increasing rapidly and it is managed in document form. For this reason, the research into the method to manage for a large amount of document in an effective way is necessary. The document clustering is integrated documents to subject by classifying a set of documents through their similarity among them. Accordingly, the document clustering can be used in exploring and searching a document and it can increased accuracy of search. This paper proposes an efficient incremental cluttering method for a set of documents increase gradually. The incremental document clustering algorithm assigns a set of new documents to the legacy clusters which have been identified in advance. In addition, to improve the correctness of the clustering, removing the stop words can be proposed and the weight of the word can be calculated by the proposed TF$\times$NIDF function.

There are many different researches about how to analyze issues based on real-time news streams. But, there are few researches which analyze issues hierarchically from news articles and even a previous research of hierarchical issue analysis make clustering speed slower as the increment of news articles. In this paper, we propose a hierarchical and incremental clustering for semi real-time issue analysis on news articles. We trained siamese neural network based weighted cosine similarity model, applied this model to k-means algorithm which is used to make word clusters and converted news articles to document vectors by using these word clusters. Finally, we initialized an issue cluster tree from document vectors, updated this tree whenever news articles happen, and analyzed issues in semi real-time. Through the experiment and evaluation, we showed that up to about 0.26 performance has been improved in terms of NMI. Also, in terms of speed of incremental clustering, we also showed about 10 times faster than before.
With the rapid advance of computer and communication techonology, the recent trend of education environment is edveloping in the ubiquitous learning (u-learning) direction that learners select and organize the contents, time and order of learning by themselves. Since the amount of education information through the internet is increasing rapidly and it is managed in document in an effective way is necessary. Multiple expression levels of genes obtained using time series microarray experiments have been exploited effectively to enhance understanding of a wide range of biological phenomena. However, the unique nature of microarray data is usually in the form of large matrices of expression genes with high dimensions. Among the huge number of genes presented in microarrays, only a small number of genes are expected to be effective for performing a certain task. Hence, discounting the majority of unaffected genes is the crucial goal of gene selection to improve accuracy for disease diagnosis. In this paper, a non-Gaussian weight matrix obtained from an incremental model is proposed to extract useful features of multivariate time series microarrays. The proposed method can automatically identify a small number of significant features via discovering hidden variables from a huge number of features. An unsupervised hierarchical clustering representative is then taken to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology. The proposed method achieves promising results based on predictive accuracy of clustering compared to existing methods of analysis. Furthermore, the proposed method offers a robust approach with low memory and computation costs.
In document clustering methods, the k-means algorithm and the Hierarchical Alglomerative Clustering(HAC) are often used. The k-means algorithm has the advantage of a processing time and HAC has also the advantage of a precision of classification. But both methods have mutual drawbacks, a slow processing time and a low quality of classification for the k-means algorithm and the HAC, respectively. Also both methods have the serious problem which is to compute a document similarity whenever new document is inserted into a cluster. A main property of web resource is to accumulate an information by adding new documents frequently. Therefore, we propose a new method of transitive closure tree based on the HAC method which can improve a processing time for a document clustering, and also propose a superior incremental clustering method for an insertion of a new document and a deletion of a document contained in a cluster. The proposed method is compared with those existing algorithms on the basis of a pre챠sion, a recall, a F-Measure, and a processing time and we present the experimental results.
XML is increasingly important in data exchange and information management. Starting point for retrieving the structure and integrating the documents efficiently is clustering the documents that have similar structure. The reason is that we can retrieve the documents more flexible and faster than the method treating the whole documents that have different structure. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the similar structure-based incremental clustering method useful for retrieving the structure of XML documents and integrating them. As a novel method, we use a clustering algorithm for transactional data that facilitates the large number of data, which is quite different from the existing methods that measure the similarity between documents, using vector. We first extract the representative structures of XML documents using sequential pattern algorithm, and then we perform the similar structure based document clustering, assuming that the document as a transaction, the representative structure of the document as the items of the transaction. In addition, we define the cluster cohesion and inter-cluster similarity, and analyze the efficiency of the Proposed method through comparing with the existing method by experiments.
The ART(Adaptive Resonance Theory) model is self- organized with nonstationary input patterns in real time. But there is a multirun problem caused by fault clustering, or pertubated clustering and confines the advantage of the stationary real-time processing in ART model. In this paper, we propose the incremental vigilance threshold approach to decrease the number of multiruns. The incremental vigilance threshold approach is to learn with incremental vigilance threshold and competition with clusters.
