설계용역사의 서비스 품질 향상을 위한 연구 (The Study about Improvement of Service Quality in Engineering Company)

  • Service importance has been growing increasingly as competition element of enterprises according to going on rapid softness, information and knowledge of industrial infrastructure recently. Quality management system that implemented in manufacturing sector have been spreading rapidly to service company, but the company performing pure engineering service only in construction fields performed mainly the evaluation on the operational aspect such as degree of implementation of the established system because it is difficult to objective evaluation on the activity of the established quality management system or quality assurance system. This study would like to make on offer the improvement points based on the evaluation of service quality and the itself evaluation result through the questionnaire on the service offerers and customers using the pre-qualified SERVQUAL model in establishment of the improvement goal of the company. According to the result of this study, it is analyzed a gap and required to establish a counter-plan to correct many gaps discovered between the real offered level and the expect level of custom.

공항지상업무시스템에 대한 서비스 수준의 평가 (Service Level Evaluation for the Airport Landside System)

  • The new concept of level of service for the airport system indicates that there must be strong stimulation to proceed with the current stereotyped service standards which are being criticised due to their being based on, either physical capacity/volume or temporal/spatial standards that directly incorporates the perception of passengers. Quantitative factors have been dealt with the main service measurements when evaluating level of service. However, the passenger's perception for the provision service at the airport system is definitely important consideration to assess level of service. To enhance the reliability of service level evaluation from the passenger's point of view, this study has adopted three main evaluation factors ; temporal/spatial factors as quantitative measurements and comfort and reasonable service factors as qualitative measurements. The multi-decision model was constructed using Fuzzy Set Theory and applied to a case study at Seoul Kimpo International Airport. Results are presented in terms of passenger satisfaction with a variety of different values.

  • 본 연구는 국내 Web 정보서비스 측정기준과 평가지표 개발을 위한 일차 연구로, 국내 Web 정보검색 서비스를 제공하는 사이트를 대상으로 기존의 온라인 검색환경의 측정기준과 평가지표의 적용문제를 사례연구로 분석한 것이다. 실제 검색실험을 통해 평가내역을 조사하고 기존방식과 기준이 Web 정보 서비스 평가적용에 어떤 문제점을 갖고 있는지를 구체적으로 조사함으로써, 현재 디지털도서관의 정보서비스의 주요 문제로 제기되고 있는 Internet 정보자원의 품질과 연계 지어 국내 Web 정보서비스 평가를 위한 지표개발(이차연구)에 필요한 기본적인 자료로 활용함을 목적으로 한다. 최종 이용자인 수요자 관점에서 디지털도서관 QIS의 조건으로 정보 자체보다 더욱 강조되고 있는 정보 서비스의 품질을, 탐색 서비스를 지원하는 국내 환경공학 Web 사이트만을 엄선하여 진단하고 최종 이용자들을 상대로 설문 조사하였다.

Trust Evaluation Metrics for Selecting the Optimal Service on SOA-based Internet of Things

  • In the IoT environment, there is a huge amount of heterogeneous devices with limited capacity. Existing trust evaluation methods are not adequate to accommodate this requirement due to the limited storage space and computational resources. In addition, since IoT devices are mainly human operated devices, the trust evaluation should reflect the social relations among device owners. There is also a need for a mechanism that reflects the tendency of the trustor and environmental factors. In this paper, we propose an adaptable trust evaluation method for SOA-based IoT system to deal with these issues. The proposed model is designed to minimize the confidence bias and to dynamically respond to environmental changes by combining direct evaluation and indirect evaluation. It is expected that it will be possible to secure trust through quantitative evaluation by providing feedback based on social relationships.

  • At present, European railways in U.K., Sweden, and Belgium have taken serious efforts to improve railway services by implementing a service evaluation system. Not only do they measure the service-related performance of a railway system, but also operate an incentive system according to the results of service-related performance. This performance evaluation system can be also used to provide basic data for other policies such as fares, subsidies and track user charges etc. After the restructuring process of Korean national railways, therefore, although it is expected to face many difficulties in the future, it is desirable to implement a performance evaluation system for securing the long-term growth of Korean railway industry.

노인요양시설 서비스 질 평가 도구 개발 (Development of an Evaluation Instrument for Service Quality in Nursing Homes)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to identify the factors influencing service quality in nursing homes, and to develop an evaluation instrument for service quality. Methods: A three-phase process was employed for the study. 1) The important factors to evaluate the service quality in nursing homes were identified through a literature review, panel discussion and focus group interview, 2) the evaluation instrument was developed, and 3) validity and reliability of the study instrument were tested by factor analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ and Cohen's Kappa. Results: Factor analysis showed that the factors influencing service quality in nursing homes were healthcare, diet/assistance, therapy, environment and staff. To improve objectivity of the instrument, quantitative as well as qualitative evaluation approaches were adopted. The study instrument was developed with 30 items and showed acceptable construct validity. The criterion-related validity was a Pearson correlation coefficient of .85 in 151 care facilities. The internal consistency was Cronbach's ${\alpha}$=.95. Conclusion: The instrument has acceptable validity and a high degree of reliability. Staff in nursing homes can continuously improve and manage their services using the results of the evaluation instrument.

  • This study, which took place in an Italian restaurant in Seoul, investigated the impact of meal duration on the evaluation of satisfaction and service quality, according to the service stages (order, cook, check) of a restaurant. Research procedures included two phases: during the first phase, data on expected-perceived meal duration, and service quality and satisfaction were collected by surveys, which were distributed at the restaurant. The second phase investigated the relationships among meal duration, customers' satisfaction, and service quality. T-tests and regression analyses were used to examine relationships between these variables. Results indicate that both failing to meet customers' expected meal duration, as well as the perceived meal duration could negatively impact the satisfaction and evaluation of service quality. The study confirmed that meal duration is indeed related to the responsiveness aspect of service quality. The important aspect of meal duration management is to improve service quality and satisfaction, which can lead to a restaurant's success. Therefore, understanding the relationships among meal duration, satisfaction, and service quality is a part of a good foundation for effective meal duration management.

  • M2M(machine-to-machine) 상호작용을 기반으로 하는 개방형의 이기종 환경에서 서비스 선택은 민감한 문제로서, IoT 장치들이 상호작용을 하기 위해 최선의 선택을 할 수 있도록 사회적 신뢰 관계의 개념을 적용해 볼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 IoT 환경에서 사회적 신뢰 관계를 기반으로 작성된 프로파일을 이용한 조합서비스의 QoS 예측과 신뢰 수준을 평가하기 위한 방법을 제안한다. 정량적인 평가를 통한 서비스 선택이 이루어짐으로써, 보다 신뢰 할 수 있는 서비스 조합의 결과를 얻을 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • Internal and external conditions are currently changing-e.g, climate change increased awareness of energy crisis, and accelerated paradigm about green growth. Accordingly, revitalization of public transportation which enables green transportation system is receiving more attention than the past. Meanwhile, as the incom level increased, people required better quality of service, and consequently, various proposals about improving the services are being promoted. Generally, the quality of the spaces within transit in developed countries is represent the quality of life, thus concerns about the transit service of quality are emerging. This study, through the domestic and abroad studies about transit service quality, redefines transit service quality including rail and reviews the related categories. In that order this study deducts each type of evaluation categories and factors, with comparing and reviewing with various cases in Korea and overseas. Based on the whole process, the paper elicits implications and proposes to the research about the evaluation of transit quality of service.

백화점의 서비스에 대한 품질측정과 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Quality Measurement and Customer Satisfaction in Department Store Service)

  • Department store service is undergoing a rapidly changing social phenomena that is, the qualitative evaluation is getting more attention than the quantitative evaluation. Therefore, in this study, a standard has been prepared according to a service quality evaluation and the result has been analyzed to prepare major points for quality improvement. The differences in perception between department store consumers and department store employees were verified based on these factor categories. Also an attempt was made to reveal the relationship between satisfaction and service quality. When considering all the results of this study, the department store consumers and the department store employees perceived service quality differently from each other. The result is that the characteristics of the users and the suppliers reflect exactly as they are because of the characteristic of the distribution environment.
