녹다운 스트레스에 의한 유압호스 조립체의 가속수명시험에 대한 연구 (A study on the accelerated life test method of hose assemblies by applying Knockdown stress)

  • The failure of hydraulic hose assemblies is caused by the impulse pressure and repetitive motions of bending and stretching (flexing) used at high pressure pipe in the form of bursting Since it takes long time to observe the bursting for life analysis, we can reduce test time by the method of applying the Knockdown stress which is equivalent to 70% of initial bursting pressure on rubber hose assemblies with maintaining the failure mode equally In this study, after scale parameter, shape parameter, and acceleration factor by preforming the impulse pressure test until the hose bursts, and finally analyzed the accelerated life.

  • 슈라우드가 장착된 초음속 충동형 터빈의 팁간극에 따른 성능변화를 시험적으로 고찰하였다. 시험은 30톤급 터보펌프용 터빈을 이용하였으며 고압공기를 이용하여 다양한 압력비 및 회전수 범위에서 이루어졌다. 터빈의 효율민감도는 기준시험점에서 0.05의 매우 작은 값을 나타내었다. 터빈효율변화는 간극의 크기에 다라 비선형적으로 변화하였으며 고정된 압력비에서 효율민감도는 회전수의 세제곱에 비례하는 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 회전수에 무관하게 효율민감도는 기준시험 압력비에서 최소값을 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

두 평행한 관의 출구로부터 방출되는 트윈파에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Twin Impulse Wave Discharged from the Exit of Two Parallel Tubes)

  • The twin-impulse wave discharged from two parallel tubes is investigated to see flow patterns, compared with the single impulse wave. In the present study, the merging phenomena and propagation characteristics of the impulse waves are investigated by experiment and numerical computation. The Harten-Yee's total variation diminishing scheme is used to solve the unsteady, two-dimensional, compressible, Euler equations. The Mach number Ms of incident shock wave is lower than 1.5 and the distance between the tubes is between 1.2 and 4.0. In the shock tube experiment, the twin impulse waves are visualized by a Schlieren optical system in order to validate the computational result. It is shown that on the symmetric axis between two parallel tubes, the peak pressure produced by the twin impulse waves and its location strongly depend upon the tube distance and the incident shock Mach number, Ms. The predicted Schlieren images show a good agreement with the measured twin-impulse wave.

  • It is very important for consumers to control their buying impulse the modem market environments because of the enormous marketing pressure to induce consumers to buy. In this context, we investigated (i) the relevant factors to construct the strategies for restraining buying impulse, (ii) the frequency with which the strategies are used, and (iii) the variables related to the strategies. Data were gathered through an internet survey(azoomma.com) and total 626 cases were analysed. Self-control strategies prior to the buying impulse comprise four categories: restricting the means of payment and transportation, avoiding shopping stimulus, no-wandering around a shop, and planning a purchase. Self-control strategies after the buying impulse comprise five categories: normative assesment of impulse buying, reconsidering economic condition, postponing purchasing decision, distrusting marketing activities, and partially satisfying buying impulse. Most of married women use these strategies very often, and some psychological variables are more related with them than demographic variables. Based on findings some implications for consumer education are also discussed.

  • This experimental study describes the propagation characteristics of the impulse noise emitted from the exit of a perforated pipe attached to the open end of a simple shock tube. The pressure amplitudes and directivities of the impulse wave propagating from the exit of perforated pipe with several different configurations are measured and analyzed fur the range of the incident shock wave Mach number between 1.02 and 1.2. In the experiments, the impulse waves are visualized by a Schlieren optical system for the purpose of investigating their propagation pattern. The results obtained show that for the near sound field the impulse noise strongly propagates toward to the pipe axis, but for the far sound field the impulse noise uniformly propagates toward to the all directions, indicating that the directivity pattern is almost same regardless of the pipe type. Moreover, it is shown that for the far sound field the perforated pipe has little performance to suppress the impulse noise.

인터넷 쇼핑몰에서 패션제품의 충동구매와 만족에 관한 한국과 중국 간 비교분석 (Comparative Analysis Between Korean and Chinese Students in regards to Fashion Product Impulse Buying and Internet Shopping Satisfaction)

  • Consumers often act impulsively when making internet purchases. Triggered by easy access to products, lack of social pressure, and absence of delivery impediments, impulse buying frequently occurs in the context of internet shopping. This study tests the structural equation model of the impulse buying process for fashion products when internet shopping and examines impulse buying process differences between Korean and Chinese consumers. A total of 985 usable questionnaires were obtained from college students. Data were analyzed by structural equation model analysis using a correlation matrix with a maximum likelihood by AMOS 21.0. Results showed that increased internet browsing by consumers resulted in more impulse buying as mediated by the urge to buy; in addition, more impulse buying by consumers resulted in a higher consumer satisfaction experience. Pure impulse buying created more important antecedents of satisfaction than the promotion-oriented impulse buying. Impulse buying showed a high similarity between Korean and Chinese consumers; however, increased influence from promotion activities resulted in more fashion product impulse buying for Chinese consumers versus Korean consumers. We confirm that one of the outcomes of the impulse buying process is impulse buying product satisfaction. Korean and Chinese consumers also present similarities and differences in fashion product impulse buying. A managerial implication is discussed for retailers of fashion products to develop strategies to increase consumer browsing and subsequently trigger impulse buying accompanied with consumer satisfaction.

일산화탄소흡입(一酸化炭素吸入)이 비임신(非妊娠) 토끼자궁운동(子宮運動)에 미치는 영향(影響) (The Effect of Carbon Monoxide Inhalation on the Uterine Motility of the Nonpregnant Rabbit)

  • Adult nonpregnant female rabbits were subjected to the study of the effects of carbon monoxide inhalation on the uterine motility. Animals were anesthetized with intravenous injection of nembutal, 35 mg/kg, and the uteri were exposed. Polyethylene tubing which had a small hole near the blind tip was inserted in the loop and normal saline was infused at a constant rate of 1.5 ml/min. On the other end of the loop, an outlet of fluid was made. When a peristaltic wave proceeded to the hole, a rise of the pressure was ensued and it was transmitted to the pressure transducer, making an upward deflection of the recording pen on the physiograph. Carbon monoxide, 1,000 ppm in the concentration, was inhaled through a tracheal cannula for 30 minutes, following fresh air for 30 minutes. In some cases, pure oxygen was also supplemented for another 30 minutes. Uterine motility was expressed in terms of the impulse that was the time integral of the pressure and of the frequency of the peristaltic waves. The results obtained were as follows. 1. When 1,000 ppm carbon monoxide was inhaled for 30 minutes, the impulse dropped to $72{\pm}16.5%$ and the frequency to $75{\pm}22.7%$ of the values obtained before the gas administration. 2. By fresh air for 30 minutes, the impulse and the frequency restored to $77{\pm}25.7%$ and $92{\pm}21.1%$, respectively. 3. By the supplement of pure oxygen for 30 minutes, no remarkable improvement were revealed, showing $89{\pm}35.2%$ in the impulse and $91{\pm}10.8%$ in the frequency, respectively. 4. There was an appreciable discrepancy in the recovery courses of the impulse and the frequency, suggesting different mechanisms attributable to the alteration by carbon monoxide inhalation.

  • The failures such as leakage and burst stemmed from the repetitive motions of bending and stretching of the assembly of hydraulic hose in construction machines, agriculture machines, vehicles, and industrial heavy machines can induce big troubles. Therefore, the hydraulic hose itself eventually requires an estimation of life to operate the hydraulic system safely. In this research, we have qualitatively selected the efficient test items by the analysis of the life and potential failures of hydraulic hose. We have used more than seven of hydraulic hoses simultaneously for the research. We have applied impulse pressure and half omega flexing motions to the accelerated life testing Test results have been expressed by employing weibull plot.

The test has been performed using a high pressure air source facility in KARI. For the turbine power absorption, a hydraulic dynamometer has been used. Appropriate similarity relations are used for the determination of test condition. Various settings of turbine pressure ratio and rotational speed are tested to investigate global turbine characteristics. From measured data, parameters related to the turbine design are derived and validated.
