충격량에 대한 응답을 고려한 폭발강화격벽 설계 방법 연구 (A Study on Design Method of Blast Hardened Bulkhead Considering the Response of Shock Impulse)

  • Blast Hardened Bulkhead (BHB) is an important measure that can increase the ship's survivability as well as protect the lives of the crew by mitigating the damage extent caused by an internal explosion in the ship. In particular, both the pressure and the shock impulse should be considered when designing the BHB against reflected shock waves having a high pressure with a short duration. This study proposes a design method for BHB that considers both the pressure and the shock impulse generated during the internal explosion. In addition, analysis and design concepts for accident loads such as explosion, fire, and collision of NORSOK and DNVGL, one of the international design guidelines for the curtain plate type blast hardened bulkhead type applied by the Korean Navy, are utilized. If this method is applied, it is expected that it can be used as a design concept for the pressure as well as the shock impulse of the explosion load of the curtain plate.

  • This paper describes the actual application of a feedback control loop as a means for minimizing turbine impulse chamber pressure variation during the turbine steam valve tests at a 1,000 MW nuclear power plant. The chamber pressure control loop was implemented in the new digital control system which was installed as a replacement for the old analog type control system. There has been about 40MW of the generator output change during the steam valve tests, especially the high pressure governing valve tests, because the old control system had not the impulse chamber pressure control so the operators had to compensate steam flow drop manually. The process of each valve test consists of a closing process and an reopening process and the operators can make sure that the valves are in their sound conditions by checking the valves movement. The control algorithm described in this paper contributed to keep the change in megawatt only to 6MW during the steam valve tests. Thereby, the disturbance to reactor control was reduced, and the overall plant control system's stability was greatly improved as well.

관의 경사출구로부터 방출되는 펄스파의 전파특성 (Propagation Characteristics of the Impulse Wave Discharged from the Inclined Exit of a Pipe)

  • The propagation of the impulse wave discharged from the Inclined exit of a pipe is investigated through shock tube experiment and numerical computations. The pressure histories and directivities of the impulse wave propagating outside from the exit of pipe with several different configurations are analyzed for the range of the incident shock wave Mach number between 1.1 and 1.4. In the shock tube experiments, the impulse waves are visualized by a Schlieren optical system for the purpose of validation of computational work. Computations using the two-dimensional. unsteady, compressible, Euler equations are carried out to represent the experimented impulse waves. Computed Schlieren images predict the experimented impulse waves with a good accuracy. The results obtained show that for the radial direction the peak pressure of the impulse wave discharged depends upon the Inclined angle of the exit of the pipe. but for the axial direction it is almost constant regardless of the inclined angle of the pipe exit.

  • 유압호스는 적용되는 압력에 따라서 저압, 중압, 고압으로 구분되어진다. 승용차의 파워스티어링 시스템은 저압부와 고압부 시스템으로 구분되어질 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 차량이 회전할 때 발생되는 충격압력이 고압호스부에 적용될 때 수명을 예측하는 것이다. 내부와 외부 조건을 조절하기 위해서 충격 압력과 작동유의 온도는 충격압력 시스템에서 제어되는 것이 필요하다. 충격압력 시험에서 압력과 작동유 온도만을 조절하여 얻은 결과는 고압호스의 수명을 예측하기 위한 조절형 가속수명시험을 적용하였으며, 또한 유한요소법으로 스웨이징부를 해석하였다.

  • Hydraulic fitting impulse tester is equipment which produce impulse pressure waveform that specified foreign standard of SAE, JIS etc. Test conditions of SAE J1453 about waveform standard indicates frequency of 35-70 cycle/min, pressure of 560 bar, oil temperature of 93 .+-.3.deg. C etc. and required cycle is a million over. In additions, Test condition operated continuously equipment. This development item adopted new pattern method such as intensifier and rotary distributor is different from already established fitting impulse tester applied servo valve and high pressure direct directional control valve. Therefore, this development item which compares already established item is good reliability, low cost of manufacture and save of electric energy. especially, Domestic small and medium enterprise uses this tester because of economical cause. We develope appropriateness tester which conforms to demand of user.

Impulse Breakdown Behaviors of Dry Air as an Alternative Insulation Gas for SF6

  • [ $SF_6$ ]gas, which has an excellent dielectric strength and interruption performance, is used in various applications such as gas insulated switchgear (GIS) in substations. However, since $SF_6$ has a high global warming potential (GWP), it is necessary to find an eco-friendly alternative insulation gas. In order to examine the possibility of using alternative insulation gases for $SF_6$ in power distribution system equipment, the dielectric strength and physical phenomena of dry air in a quasi-uniform electric field are investigated experimentally in this paper. As a result, the breakdown voltages for positive polarity are higher than those for negative polarity under impulse voltage applications. The negative 50[%] flashover voltage, $V_{50}$ of dry air under conditions above 0.4[MPa] gas pressure, is higher than 150[kV], that is the basic impulse insulation level of distribution equipment. The $V_{50}$ increases linearly with increasing the gas pressure, regardless of the waveform and polarity of the applied impulse voltages. The voltage-time curves are dependent on the rise time of the impulse voltage and gas pressure. Furthermore, streamer discharge was observed through light emission images by an ICCD camera under impulse voltage applications.

  • 현재 항우연에서 개발 중인 우주발사체 터보펌프에 사용되는 터빈은 단단 충동터빈을 적용하고 있다. 우주발사체의 안정성을 위해 팁 간극을 비교적 많이 허용하고 있는데, 효율적인 면에서는 반동터빈 보다 다소 뒤지지만, 높은 출력비를 가지는 충동터빈이 팁 간극이 커질 때 어떤 효율경향을 나타내는지 알아보는 일은 의미 있는 일이다. 실험은 아음속 조건에서 실험하였고, 팁 간극을 각각 코드기준 1%$\sim$20%일 경우 충동과 반동 각각의 경우에 대하여 하류 전압손실을 측정하였다. 측정결과 팁 간극이 10%보다 더 커지면, 충동터빈이 오히려 전압손실량이 반동터빈보다 더 작아진다. 이것은 팁 간극이 비교적 큰 조건에서 충동터빈이 반동터빈보다 효율이나 출력비 면에서 더 나은 성능을 나타냄을 의미한다.

  • Measurements of plantar pressure provide an indication of foot and ankle function during gait and other functional activities because the foot and ankle provide necessary support and flexibility for weight bearing and weight shifting while people are performing these activities. Plantar pressure is being increasingly used in both research and clinical practice to measure the effects of various footwear and physical therapy intervention. The influence of walking speed and ground inclination on plantar pressure parameters However has not been evaluated in detail. So, in this study to determine the effect of changes in walking speed and ground inclination on plantar pressure treadmills with different walking speeds and inclination were used. Plantar pressure parameters were measured with the Parotec system using the walking and running in 20 healthy participants(10 male, 10 female) aged $20{\sim}28$(mean 22.22, S.D.2.26 years) when slow walking and running. The result of this study with increased die walking speed, the peak pressure of 1st, 5th metatarsal head and total contact time and impulse total at the forefoot was affected by walking speed; however, die peak pressure, contact time and impulse total at the forefoot was not affected by ground inclination.

Saturation impulses for dynamically loaded structures with finite-deflections

  • The concept of "Saturation Impulse" for rigid, perfectly plastic structures with finite-deflections subjected to dynamic loading was put forward by Zhao, Yu and Fang (1994a). This paper extends the concept of Saturation Impulse to the analysis of structures such as simply supported circular plates, simply supported and fully clamped square plates, and cylindrical shells subjected to rectangular pressure pulses in the medium load range. Both upper and lower bounds of nondimensional saturation impulses are presented.

불평등전계중에서 진동성 임펄스전압에 대한 $SF_6$가스의 절연특성 (Dielectric Characteristics of $SF_6$ gas Stressed by the Oscillating Impulse Voltage in the Non-uniform Electric Fields)

  • This paper describes the dielectric characteristics of $SF_6$ gas in non-uniform electric filed under lightning under lightning impulse and oscillating impulse voltages. The breakdown voltage-time characteristics and the breakdown voltage-pressure characteristics are measured over a pressure range extending from 0.1 to 0.5 [MPa] fur the coaxial electrode with a needle protrusion. The curvature radius of needle protrusion is 0.3[mm]. Also, the growth of the predischarge is simultaneously observed. As a result the polarity effect is pronounced, and the breakdowns voltage under the oscillating impulse voltage are higher than those under the lightning impulse voltage. It is found that the breakdown mechanism md predischarge phenomena ate closely related with the polarity and waveforms of the testing voltage.
