  • In a complex production system, the efficient control of order entry-production schedule-shippment cycle is one of the most important managerial aspects. In this paper, an aggregate control mechanism has been developed. The result showed steps for improving and for optimizing the total systems efficiency. A simplified guidelines for a con ceptual data base has been suggested.

  • 과거 10년 동안 용접 생산성 향상을 위한 연구 개발 노력은 다방면에서 진행되어 이제는 그 효과 가 복합적으로 나타나고 있다. 용접 자동화 분야에 있어서는 용접 Robot System이 고도화 되어 성능이 다양해 졌고, 용접기 분야에서는 용접전류파형 제어가 가능하게 되어 제품에 따라 성능면 에서 커다란 차이를 보이게 되었으며, 용접재료 분야에서는 다양한 용접재료가 개발되어 여러 분 야에서 생산성 향상에 기여하게 되었다. 이를 사용자 측면에서 보면 기술적인 면이 있는 반면, 그 에 비례하여 선택의 어려움 또한 증가하였다. 따라서 이 시대에서 요구하는 용접기술은 주어진 작업환경 및 조건에 따라 최적의 자동화 System, 용접기기 및 용접재료 등을 선택하여 가장 경 제적으로 용접제품을 생산할 수 있도록 하는 Engineering기술이라고 하겠다.

  • This paper describes simulation and experimental results to analyze the dynamic characteristics of STATCOM, which is connected to the ac system for compensation the power factor and improving the voltage stability. The simulation and experimental results confirm that the scaled model for STATCOM can properly compesate the power factor of the load and regulate the bus voltage at the common connection point.

  • This paper is about improving characteristic of plant by using micro-step driver method in 5 phase step motor for satisfying the condition of low oscillation and high accuracy in soldering machine. We choose open loop control method for minimizing hardware system and use one chip microprocessor, power MOSFET nd some device to realize accurate micro-step driver system.

Performance of a Turbo-Coded CDMA System in an Indoor Wireless Infrared Channel

  • Turbo-coded CDMA system is analyzed and simulated in an indoor wireless infrared channel. The indoor infrared channel is modeled as a non-directed diffuse link. From the simulation results, it is confirmed that the turbo coding is very effective in improving BER (bit error rate) performance, and outperforms BCH code.

  • In interior point methods for linear programming, we must solve a linear system with a symmetric positive definite matrix at every iteration, and Cholesky factorization is generally used to solve it. Therefore, if Cholesky factorization is not done successfully, many iterations are needed to find the optimal solution or we can not find it. We studied methods for improving the numerical stability of Cholesky factorization and the accuracy of the solution of the linear system.

  • In this paper, a sensitivity analysis is proceeded to improve the network of manufacturing process by converting the qualitative network into GERT Network and by finding equivalent probability, MFG's of variables and sensitivity equation in GERT Network. Sensitivity analysis of GERT Network is important in evaluating, reviewing and improving system. System improvement in GERT Network is achieved by increasing the equivalent probability and by decreasing the equivalent time.

  • On the basis of the data collected from various fields , the energy input output state in the crop-growing sub-system in Guangdong is estimated and analyzed. Results show that the input of the artificial supplementary energy is approximately 201x105 Kcal/ha. year and the input and output ratio equals 1 : 4.73. Measures for improving productivity and speeding up the development of agricultural mechanization in Guangdong are eventually suggested.

  • Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), a non-parametric productivity analysis tool, has become an accepted approach for assessing efficiency in a wide range of fields. Despite of its extensive applications and merits, some features of DEA remain bothersome. DEA offers no guideline about to which direction relatively inefficient DMUs improve since a reference set of an inefficient DMU, several efficient DMUs, hardly provides a stepwise path for improving the efficiency of the inefficient DMU.In this paper, we aim to show that DEA can be used to evaluate the efficiency of life insurance companies while overcoming its limitation with the aids of machine learning methods.

  • In this paper, the elemental components and improving purpose in advanced safety management system are reviewed to cope with a railway fire accident. And a considering procedure(V-cycle) of long-term plan for railway fire safety improvement is proposed. For the purpose of preventing recurrence of accident, items which have to be considered in the course of accident investigation and cause analysis are presented according to the stage of investigation activity.
