The main purpose of the study is to analyze the features of innovation and project management in the system of improving the performance of personnel as a factor in ensuring competitiveness and investment security. For the successful operation of enterprises, regardless of their form of ownership and field of activity, in order to carry out effective activities, they turn to innovative methods related to the formation of the potential of the workforce, and increasing the level of education and qualifications of staff and establishing their potential ability to make independent decisions. Based on the results of the study, the key features of innovation and project management in the system of improving the performance of personnel as a factor in ensuring competitiveness and investment security are characterized.

Besieged by needs for upgrading the current Internet, social pressures, and regulatory concerns, a network operator may be left with few options to Improve his services. Yet he can still consider a transition prioritizing network services. In this paper, we describe a transition from a non-priority system to a prioritized one, using non-preemptive M/G/1 model. After reviewing the constraints and theoretical results from past research, we describe steps making the transition Pareto-improving, which boils down to a multi-goal search for a Pareto-improving state. We use a genetic algorithm that captures actual transition costs along with incentive-compatible and Pareto-Improving constraints. Simulation results demonstrate that the initial post-transition solutions are typically Pareto-improving. for non Pareto-improving solutions, the heuristic quickly generates Pareto-improving and incentive-compatible solutions.

Background: This study aimed to prioritize policy measures to improve radiation safety management in medical institutions using the analytic hierarchy process. Materials and Methods: It adopted three policy options-engineering, education, and enforcement-to categorize safety management measures, the so-called Harvey's 3Es. Then, the radiation safety management measures obtained from the current system and other studies were organized into action plan categories. Using the derived model, this study surveyed 33 stakeholders of radiation safety management in medical institutions and analyzed the importance of each measure. Results and Discussion: As a result, these stakeholders generally identified enforcement as the most important factor for improving the safety management system. The study also found that radiation safety officers and medical physicists perceived different measures as important, indicating clear differences in opinions among stakeholders, especially in improving quality assurance in radiation therapy. Hence, the process of coordination and consensus is likely to be critical in improving the radiation safety management system. Conclusion: Stakeholders in the medical field consider enforcement as the most critical factor in improving their safety management systems. Specifically, the most crucial among the six specific action plans was the "reinforcement of the organization and workforce for safety management," with a relative importance of 25.7%.

Background and objective: Plant-based biofilter system has become a promising candidate for improving indoor air quality due to its eco-friendly and sustainable nature. However, it remains controversial whether indoor air purification using a biofilter is effective. Methods: This study used the one-group pre- and post-test design to analyze the effects of the operation of the plant-based biofilter system on indoor air quality, students' perception of indoor air quality, health effects, and subjective and objective attentiveness. Results: Results of this study show that the application of the plant-based biofilter system changed the air environment in the classroom. The operation of the plant-based biofilter system significantly decreased PM_2.5 and PM₁₀ and slightly increased temperature and humidity. Satisfaction with air quality and subjective attentiveness were significantly improved but objective attentiveness and health effects were not improved. Conclusion: Further studies need to be conducted for improving indoor air quality of schools and evaluating the health effects and attention of occupants to present the objective performance of the plant-based biofilter system.

본 연구에서는 단순 세정의 개념이 아닌 복합감각 증진 개념의 헬스케어 목욕 시스템을 개발하고자 한다. 헬스케어 감성욕조를 디자인하기 위해 우선 타입별 특성을 고찰하였다. 이를 기반으로 복합감각 자극용 전신 욕조를 개발하였고, 이 전신욕조는 감성자극용 전신욕조 월풀, 시청각 감각 자극 기능이 구비된 욕조 커버, 제어용 소형 PC, 터치패널, DMB 패널, 시각 감성 증진을 위한 칼라 가변형 LED 무드 시스템과 스피커로 구성되어 있다. 제작된 복합감각 증진 개념의 헬스케어 욕조시스템의 특성을 고찰하기 위해서 목욕을 하는 동안 인체 자율신경계에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 전반적으로 목욕 상태에서의 심박변이율은 실험 중 교감신경에 비해 부교감신경이 계속 증가하는 것으로 나타났고, 목욕을 시작한지 15분이 경과하면 교감신경이 증가하고 부교감신경이 감소하여, 피험자가 목욕을 한지 15분일 때 가장 편안한 상태를 느끼는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 목욕 실험 결과 전후의 혈압이 최고 16mmHg까지 떨어진 것으로 나타났으나 맥박은 증가하였다. 이것은 심장으로부터 혈액의 유출량이 많아져 혈류량이 증가하는 것으로 복합감각 증진용 헬스케어 욕조 시스템을 이용한 목욕이 혈액 순환에 긍정적인 영향을 보였다. 본 연구의 결과를 가지고 복합감각 기능증진 헬스케어 목욕시스템의 사용성과 사용자의 생리분석을 통한 기초결과를 통해서 사용자의 생리변화를 분석함으로써 제품의 사용성과 사용자의 생리적 변화 및 감성 간의 관계를 보다 더 명확하게 밝혀낼 수 있으리라 기대한다.

Equipments in container terminal have a lot of parts, and an equipment breakdown affects the productivity of terminal. In this paper, we develop a maintenance management system for improving reliability, availability and maintainability of equipments in container terminals. The developed system consists of five modules : equipment structure module, equipment operation management module, maintenance control module, spare part control module and data analysis module. The system supports reliability engineers to manage and improve RAM of equipments in container terminals. For example, FMEA, failure state analysis and life distribution parameters estimation are easily or automatically done by the system. This system also provides optimal preventive maintenance intervals by simulation and optimal yearly PM schedules for equipments in container terminal are recommended.

This is a study on the ways of improving the current Kwangju Kimch Festival. The Festival has many resources for attracting visitors. 'nevertheless. it has been criticized for marketing tools. including lack of publicity, institutional inertia. etc. A new approach for improving Kwangju Kimch Festival is needed to satisfy the needs not only for residents but also for visitors. especially japan tourists. the best way of improving the current Kwangju Kimch Festival might be the development of the product(for exemple, effective linkage system with tourist attractions) and promotion(advertising. publicity).

The paper deals with the analysis for improving evaluation system of government-supported program in developing engineering college. I think that it is important to consider evaluation system of government-supported program and faculty in the aspect of policy responsibility and autonomy. I suggest three proposals. First, in the perspective of evaluation system of government-supported program, it is important to keep the balance between SCI-based evaluation and practical & University Industry Corporation (UIC) indicator or keep the balance between quantitative indicators and qualitative indicators. Second, in the perspective of evaluation system of faculty, UIC-friendly evaluation system should be expanded and institutionalized. Finally, the evaluation systems should be not only built, but also utilized for developing engineering college.

Nowadays, the bus system of a metropolitan area is improving very fast. According to the bus, commuter railways increase their competitive power. For this, trains get the mobility increasing, effective transferring system and unified information service. For the mobility increasing, commuting railway must be faster by flexible train diagram and facilities improvement. And finally, optimal commuter train, 'Liner' is needful. And for effective transferring system, it is necessary that railway station and transferring center of a city be merged. And it is needful that direct management bus by railway company and unification fare system on metropolitan region. Next, for information service system improving, the commuting railway station must be regional transportation hub at first. And it is needful that unified line map of trunk line transportation systems and regionally collective transportation system information book. Therefore, metropolitan commuting railways compete with trunk line bus and cooperate with feeder line bus, and can make optimal metropolitan public transportation systems.

There was heavy rains that happened for 23 days consecutively in 2006. Many regions have suffered because of rains and among them In-Je and Pyung-Chang area are the most suffered areas at that time. I conducted field survey at those two regions. The case of other damaged regions also reviewed in this paper and volunteer activity of volunteer groups is reviewed. I intended to make clear the volunteer activity system through analysing need capacity of volunteers. Main suggestions are as below. In management system, the nexts are discussed. Improving the ability of village headmen and volunteer groups that manage relief stuffs at the first level and cooperating method with companies are discussed. Supporting system for isolated regions and necessity about developing operating manual are suggested. In education system, specialized education for different disaster areas, field orientation education, and training managerial positions are suggested. In supporting system, improving NDMS(National Disaster Management System), computerized program for volunteer management, insurance for volunteers, issuing a confirmation of volunteering activity, securement of emergency communication system, budget for prevention and donation are also suggested.
