  • In this paper, a mobile system is designed and implemented for children with learning disabilities. The system is designed to improve reading skills of those students. The reading skill is very basic and essential ability for various subjects. In this paper, the proposed mobile system is based on PREP that is known as a good theory for improving reading skills of children with learning disabilities. The system has the following characteristics. First, the system can improve the reading skills by providing successive tasks and simultaneous tasks. Second, the system can provide interests by introducing quiz-type study and considering accessibility, and individuality of learning disorder students. Third, the system has user-friendly interface so that the students have easy access to the system. The system is applied to some elementary school students. The following result is obtained: both of reading attitude and reading ability are improved.

  • By means of analyzing of monitoring technology and monitoring regulation based on maintenance monitoring system installed in subway tunnel section, it needs monitoring system, development of operating program, monitoring analyzing system and development of analysis method, establishment of maintenance monitoring standard specification, and performance of responsible monitoring supervision for applying to subway monitoring maintenance effectively in future. It requires specialized monitoring and legislation of monitoring subcontract, improvement of monitoring work contract method, establishment the standard payment of monitoring, and effective calibration and correction of monitoring system in the plan of improving monitoring regulation.

  • In this paper, to identify the dynamic characteristics of antenna system, the antenna is divided into 4 components and those were analyzed with a conventional FEM package MSC/NASTRAN. Using a Component Mode Synthesis Method, dynamic characteristics of total system is also identified. The Coherence of each component to total system is evaluated by using strain and kinetic component to total system is evaluated by using strain and kinetic energy. The improving strategy of dynamic characteristics is suggested by changing mass and stiffness of large coherence components.

  • The purpose of this study is to establish the function of a sub-system for System Alternatives Feasibility Estimation (SAFE) in R & D Project Planning Phase (RDPPL). It is the fundamental function of the RDPPL/SAFE that selected an optimal planning system alternative of all, considered at RDPPL/SAS, by logical means in view of feasibility. In this paper, improving the function of RDPPL/SAFE, mathmatical models in order to quantify methods determining and integrating the feasibility funtion in each terminal system with a multi-stage process are examined.
