The purpose of this study is to reduce the side effect of functional health foods. The research is done by in-depth interview method. The nineteen officials who worked in local administration or KFDA(Korea Food & Drug Administration) were interviewed. The questions were asked regarding the current status of consumer reports related to functional health foods, the problems which officials perceived, and the regulations required to reduce the problems. The findings are as follows: 1) the consumers report the side effect of functional health foods to nongovernmental organization. 2) officials feel that the problems are the difficulty in finding the cause of the side effect, unjust sale tactics, deceptive and small-sized manufacturers. and the distorted consumer conception on functional health foods. 3) officials think that improvement on the regulations are required to reduce the problems caused by the side effects. It includes the indication of the ingredient's origin and warnings considering physical conditions, close cowork between administration and nongovernmental organization. introduction of sales license for functional health foods and the increase of the opportunity for consumers to get information and education on functional health foods.

Purpose -This study is to measure the effects of retail legislations on small retailers and traditional markets. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - The authors have developed a questionnaire with five hypotheses on the basis of previous research results and six constructs: the improvement of sales volume, the number of customers, the improvement of store traffic, the increase of store staff, business expansion and retail regulation. Furthermore, the research has adopted a five-point Likert-scale technique. In order to increase research reliability as well as validity, the authors have adopted a few different research techniques such as exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Results - Although existing retail regulations might be better than nothing for now, the degree of retail constraints on large retailers should be strengthened. Furthermore, different legal methods to protect mom and pops are needed. Conclusions - In order to improve the effects of retail restrictions on large retailers, the research indicates that the central government should change a retail policy, that is, introduce new technical ways to keep mom and pops and conventional markets.

본 연구에서는 건설공사에서 수행되고 있는 주요 선계변경과 관련하여 설계서와 결함으로 인한 설계변경, 현장상태와 설계서의 상이로 인한 설계변경, 발주자의 필요에 의한 설계변경 등으로 구분하여 설계변경시의 감리업무에 대한 제반규정과 현장에서의 업무수행 현황 등을 비교${\cdot}$분석하는 방법으로 관련규정의 상호모순으로 인한 감리업무 수행의 문제점을 도출하였다. 이를 토대로 설계변경과 관련된 법령/계약조건/지침상의 규정된 내용과 현장에서의 업무수행을 비교${\cdot}$분석하여 공공공시의 설계변경과 관련한 감리업무의 개선방안을 도출하였다.

이 연구는 지방자치단체의 효율적인 갈등관리를 위한 기초연구로서, 갈등관리 분야의 법규에 관한 내용을 분석하였다. 이를 통하여 효율적인 갈등관리를 위한 법규의 개선방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이 연구의 주요 분석내용은 법규의 기초 사항, 목적 및 갈등당사자, 용어, 심의기구, 조정기구, 중요 특이 사항 등을 포함하고 있다. 그리고 이 연구는 갈등관리 분야 법규의 개선방안으로서 자치단체장의 갈등관리에 대한 인식 전환 및 의지 강화, 갈등관리기구의 역할과 심의 조정 내용의 반영 및 이행 강화, 행 재정적 지원 규정의 확산 등을 제시하고 있다.

본 연구는 수상레저 활성화를 위한 선진국의 관련규제 분석 및 개선 방향을 제시하기 위해 수행되었다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 수상레저 선진국인 미국, 영국, 호주 및 일본의 수상레저 면허 및 교육, 등록 및 검사 그리고 사업에 대한 사례 분석을 실시하였고 국내 수상레저 활동자와 종사자들에게 면허 및 교육, 등록 및 검사 그리고 사업의 애로사항에 대한 인식도를 실증적으로 분석하였으며 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 수상레저 면허제도에 대한 필요성은 '필요하지않다'가 높게 나타났으며 그 이유로는 '교육으로 대체가능'하기 때문이라는 응답이 가장 높았으며 반대로 면허제도가 필요한 이유로는 '수상레저 활동의 안전' 확보로 나타났다. 또한 수상레저 면허 제도의 문제점으로는 '운영제도의 어려움'과 '운영기관의 부족' 등의 순으로 나타났으며 면허제도의 개선방향으로는 '교육기관 및 인력확대', 그리고 '단계별 교육 차별화' 등의 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 수상레저 등록 및 검사제도의 개선의 필요성에서는 '수상레저기구 등록절차 간소화', '수상레저기구 등록 및 검사기관 확대 필요성' 그리고 '수상레저기구 등록범위 확대 필요성'에 대한 인식도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 종사자들이 인식하는 수상레저사업장의 애로사항으로는 '수상레저기구 입출항 신고 절차의 복잡성', '수상레저사업 신고 및 등록 절차의 복잡성' 그리고 '수상레저 활성화 지원 정책 및 제도 미흡'등의 순으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 국내 수상레저의 활성화를 위해서는 수상레저 활동자들에게는 면허 및 교육제도의 접근성과 편리성을 확보하고 종사자들에게는 수상레저사업의 복잡성을 해결해 줄 수 있는 지원정책의 수립이 지속적으로 이루어져야할 것이다. 즉 수상레저 활동과 사업을 규제하고 있는 수상레저안전법은 수상레저 활동자 및 종사자들의 수요와 요구를 반영할 수 있도록 지속적인 개정 작업이 이루어져야 한다.

The purpose of this study is to find a way to improve damaged forest in rural area in terms of both landscape . quality and regulation. Mountain and forest cover 65% of total land in Korea, and the shortage of areas for developing housing, road and facilities made us to use forest area for above purposes. This led various types of damages on the sensitive rural landscape visually and ecologically. There are rules and regulations for decreasing damaging effect by constructions on forest area, but it was not so effective because theses rules focused on quantitative issues only. This study will consist of three phases, 1. analyse landscape damage types by development tendencies in forest area 2. find diminution plan on each damage types 3. set improvement on rules and regulations both qualitatively and quantitatively. This study will meet the goal of improving and managing rural and forest landscape by providing objective standards, rational procedure and amelioration plan.

Ultra-wideband (UWB) systems have witnessed a debate over whether they may cause interference to other existing and future narrowband systems sharing their band of operation. The detect and avoid (DAA) mechanism was developed as a solution to reduce interference to narrowband systems in order to ease regulatory concerns. It works by adaptively reducing the transmitted power at the overlapping bands upon detecting an active narrowband link. However, employing DAA degrades the performance of UWB transmissions. In this paper, we present the Korean UWB regulations as an example of regulations that require DAA in certain bands. We investigate DAA's impact on performance and propose a method to mitigate it, which provides UWB with the more efficient support of the DAA mechanism and enables it to avoid a larger number of narrowband users while sustaining the data rate. Results show significant improvement in performance with the application of our technique compared to conventional performance.

Various acts, regulations and rules on the Apartment remodelling are established in Korea. Because, of these acts, reconstruction of Apartment is restrained and on the contrary Remodelling of Apartment is cumins issue. But, because of agreement of all resident for Apartment remodelling and a rule for the development restrict permission, extension of apartment is actually impracticable. Therefore, various regulations on the remodelling is investigated, problems on the current remodelling system are analysed, and improving system for activating apartment remodeling is suggested in this study.

The purpose of this study is to develop the urban design guidelines in detached housing areas for the improvement and management of residential townscape. Through a detail examination and analysis of the urban design guidelines and landscape regulations of U.S.A, Japan, and Korea to be applied to detached housing area for residential townscape, the urban design guidelines in detached housing area was derived. Urban design guidelines are composed of building guidelines, landscape guidelines, street guidelines, and sign guidelines. The municipality have to make regulations in detached housing area for the improvement and management of residential townscape based on this urban design guidelines.

The purpose of this study is to review and to suggest improvement concerning floor impact noise section of the housing performance grading indication system. After a result, the main improvement is to resolve the discrepancies in the rules or regulations such as design specification(standard floor system) or design performance(accredited floor system) and as-built performance like 58 dB.
