The purpose of this study is to identify some problems of re-certification criteria in the G-SEED System and to propose the renewal of certification system. Analysis of the rating criteria with a few re-certified examples of office buildings have been made. Purpose: This study aims to determine the needs of customers who use railroads as a mode of transportation and propose customer-oriented improvements in railroad technology by making connections between customer needs and railroad technology. Methods: We primarily used two methods for this study, AHP and QFD. First, AHP was used to evaluate the relative importance among the different components of railroad technology. Second, the QFD was applied to make a link between customer needs and railroad technology. Results: Railroad technology is largely divided into development, maintenance, and support. Empirical results showed the following improvement priorities in development, vehicle, system, line, signal/communication, power, and structure, in maintenance, vehicle, signal/communication, line, process, power, and structure, and in support, safety/precaution, management, environmental energy, operations/logistics, and station. Conclusion: Recognizing limitations in measuring the level of railroad technology when using the existing 'Technology Growth Model,' we used AHP and QFD to explore improvement directions for customer-oriented railroad technology. By offering customer-oriented services based on this study, railroad service providers will be able to acquire competitive advantage in the market.

The subjects were divided into three groups for the analysis of the importance of occupational therapy tasks, depending on the length of their clinical careers: less than 3 years, from 4 to 6 years, and over 7 years. In the 4-to-6-years group, "arm function assessment" was most important, followed by "basic daily activities assessment", "patient's needs", "arm function improvement", and "patient information check". In the over-7-years group, "understanding of patient's needs" was most important, followed by "patient information check", "basic daily activities assessment", "basic daily activities training", and "sensory function assessment". Purpose: The predominant approach for mitigating inadequate sampling rates has primarily involved bolstering the volume of education. This study aimed to curtail inadequate sampling rates through the implementation of continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities, tailoring effective methods to the unique needs of each institution. Methods: We developed a sample handling guidebook and implemented QI activities to address this issue. Results: These measures resulted in a 4.7% decrease in inadequate sampling rates, concurrently improving knowledge of sample handling and overall nurse satisfaction. We addressed the root causes of inadequate sampling before laboratory pre-processing by: 1) focusing on systematic rather than erratic errors through CQI activities, 2) revising the sample handling guide, and 3) delivering face-to-face education based on the specific needs of the nursing department. These changes resulted in an additional 0.6% decrease in the inadequate sampling rate. Conclusion: This study demonstrates that the implementation of CQI activities based on evidence derived from a multifaceted causal analysis significantly reduced the inadequate sampling rate compared to previous studies.
