The recent globalization of the consumer market has highlighted the importance of a brand; subsequently, brand extension is strategically used to launch of various products and services. Especially, various and new services based on information and communication technology for the convenience of consumers have been provided continuously. This study examined consumer's evaluation for brand extension centered on the brand extension as a mobile payment service through consumer propensity and familiarity as well as attitude toward a brand. The research is as follows. First, it shows that self-efficacy and implicit theories among consumer characteristics positively influence familiarity and attitude toward a brand. Second, it shows that the planned consumption tendency among consumption characteristics of a consumer positively affect familiarity toward a brand. Third, it is confirmed that the brand extension on parents brand affects the attitude towards brand extension, and the attitude towards brand extension is connected to a willingness to recommend through the purchase intention. This study empirically confirms the importance of consumer propensity, the consumer's perception, and evaluation towards the brand extension of the company as well as the continuous efforts and required company activities to build and form a positive attitude and familiarity of consumers for the brand. This study can be used as basic data for the strategy development of brand extensions in service companies.

This article examined the applicability of spatial configuration to Escher's works through configurative logics and rules and studied the contrasting relations among the unit elements in Escher's works and their characteristics and the creative process of the characteristics. As the results of the study on the bases to maintain and create the partial elements revealed as the characteristics, it was shown that Escher's sequential transformative works demonstrated diverse expressive characteristics as a creative process of Inter-complementary contrasting relations based on the independence of the unit elements. It was also shown that the creative process of the unit elements was actualized through the maintenance base of the fixed and absolute characteristic as the logic for the creation and the creation base of the dynamic and relative characteristic. Therefore, it was interpreted that by applying the logics for creation to Escher's unit elements through the spatial interpretation of the maintenance base and the creation base as well as by configuring the units created in such a way according to the characteristics of Escher's works, spatial possibility canbe derived out from Escher's contrasting tessellation works. The process of spatial configuration is the process to make a balance between various conditions, artists own understanding of the space and his/her intention of the space. From this viewpoint, the logics for maintenance base and for creation base seem to have the potentiality as a spatial configuration to consistently meet the given conditions as well as to derive out novelty through the transformation to maintain the fixed and absolute condition(base) and the characteristics of the independent(additional) transformation arising together with the implicit relations among the transformative units.

본 논문은 다양한 사용자의 개인적 검색요구를 충족시키지 못하는 기존 검색시스템의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 사용자의 묵시적 피드백을 이용한 적응형 사용자 기호정보 기반의 개인화 검색을 실현하고, 검색결과에 대한 실시간 필터링을 통해 사용자에게 적합한 검색 결과를 제공하는 시스템을 제안한다. 기존의 검색 시스템들은 검색의도의 불확실성 때문에 사용자의 검색실패율이 높다. 검색 의도의 불확실성은 동일한 사용자가 "java"와 같은 다의어에 대해 동일한 질의어를 사용하더라도 다른 검색 결과를 원할 수 있다는 것이며, 단어의 수가 적을수록 불확실성은 가중될 것이다. 실시간 필터링은 사용자의 도메인 지정여부에 따라 주어진 도메인에 해당하는 웹문서들만 추출하거나, 적절한 도메인을 추론하고 해당하는 웹문서들만 검색 결과로 보여주는 것으로, 일반적인 디렉토리 검색과 유사하지만 모든 웹문서에 대해 이루어진다는 것과 실시간으로 분류된다는 것이 다르다. 실시간 필터링을 개인화에 활용함으로써 검색 결과의 수를 줄이고 검색만족도를 개선했다. 본 논문에서 생성한 기호정보파일은 계층적 구조로 이루어지며, 상황정보의 반영이 가능하기 때문에 의도의 불확실성을 해결 할 수 있다. 또한 사용자의 도메인별 웹문서 검색 동작을 효과적으로 추적(track) 할 수 있으며, 사용자의 기호 변화를 적절하게 알아낼 수 있다. 각 사용자 식별을 위해 IP address를 사용했으며, 기호정보파일은 사용자의 검색 행동에 대한 관찰을 기반으로 지속적으로 갱신된다. 또한 사용자의 검색결과에 대한 행동 관찰을 통해, 사용자 기호를 인지하고, 기호정보를 동적으로 반영했으며, 검색결과에 대한 만족도를 측정했다. 기호정보파일과 반영비율은 사용자가 검색을 수행할 때 시스템에 의해 생성되거나 갱신된다. 실험결과 적응형 사용자 기호정보파일과 실시간 필터링을 함께 사용함으로써, 상위 10개의 검색결과 중 평균 4.7개의 결과들에 대해 만족하는 것으로 나타났으며, 이는 구글의 결과에 비해 약 23.2% 향상된 만족도를 나타내었다.

이 글은 환자의 자기결정권에 관한 몇몇 대표적인 판례들을 연혁적으로 검토한 논문이다. 대법원은 과거 음주상태에서 농약을 음독하여 자살을 시도한 환자가 치료를 거부하자 치료를 포기한 의료진에게 특정 의학적 상태(응급상황)에서 의사의 생명보호의무가 환자의 자기결정권 존중보다 우선한다고 판단하여 의료과실을 인정하였다. 이후 대법원은 가족들의 요청에 의해 지속적 식물인간 상태인 환자에게 해당 환자의 의학적 상태(회복불가능한 사망의 단계 등)를 고려하고 환자의 의사를 추정하여 연명의료를 중단하게 하였다. 최근 대법원은 종교적 신념과 관련하여 수혈과 같은 필수적인 치료를 거부한 환자에 대하여 대법원은 환자의 생명 보호에 못지않게 환자의 자기결정권을 존중하여야 할 의무가 대등한 가치를 가지는 것으로 평가할 수 있는 판단 기준을 제시하였다. 인간의 존엄성에 근거한 환자의 자기결정권과 의사의 생명보호의무가 충돌하는 상황에 대하여 연혁적 판례 검토를 통해 법원의 입장이 우리 사회에서 환자의 주체적 역할과 자율성을 존중하는 방향을 반영하여 함께 변화되어 왔음을 확인할 수 있었다. 법원이 생명권이라는 최고의 가치만을 환자의 의사보다 더욱 우선하여 판단해오다가 적어도 명시적인 환자의 의사 또는 그렇지 못할 경우에 추정적 의사까지도 고려한 치료의 유보나 중단에 대하여 고려하기 시작한 것, 종교적 신념에 근거한 자기결정권의 행사로서의 수혈거부와 같은 치료거부에 대하여 충분한 정보에 근거한 치료거부의 몇 가지 적법한 요건들을 인정하기 시작했다는 것은 이후 우리나라 의료 환경에 적잖은 영향을 줄 것이고 의료현장에서 의료행위를 하는 의사들에게도 직 간접적인 지침이 될 것이다.
