The Kalman filter is an optimal linear estimator that has been an active research topic for the past three decades. The scheme has become the milestone of modern filtering, and it is applied to many areas including navigations and controls of free vehicle. The Kalman filter technique is matured. But some problems are still remained to be resolved. The prevention of divergence induced by digital implementation, nonoptimal application for nonlinear system, and application to non-Gaussian processes are some of the problems. This paper surveys the problems. The square root filtering is suggested to prevent the divergence. The extended Kalman filter is used for nonlinear systems. And, many other approaches to Kalman-like optimal estimators are also investigated.

For the analysis of Kirchhoff plate bending problems, a new meshless method is implemented. For the satisfaction of the C¹ continuity condition in which the first derivative is treated as another primary variable, Hermite interpolation is enforced on standard reproducing kernel particle method. In order to impose essential boundary conditions on solving C¹ continuity problems, shape function modifications are adopted. Through numerical tests, the characteristics and accuracy of the HRKPM are investigated and compared with the finite element analysis. By this implementation, it is shown that high accuracy is achieved by using HRKPM fur solving Kirchhoff plate bending problems.

Multiple objective programming has been a popular research area since 1970. The pervasiveness of multiple objective in decision problems have led to explosive growth during the 1980's. Several approaches (interactive methods, feasible direction methods, criterion weight space methods, Lagrange multiplies methods, etc) have been developed for solving decision problems having multiple objectives. However there are still many mathematically challengings including multiple objective integer, nonlinear optimization problems which require further mathematically oriented research. (omitted)

Recently, many enterprises wish to preoccupy competitive positions in the market by motivating themselves towards CALS(Commerce At Light Speed) and try hard to achieve system implementation with the use of new concept-based backbone systems such as ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) or PDM(Product Data Management). However, unfortunately there is an inevitable discrepancy during implementation period between package vendors and customers due to lack of clear methodology and misunderstanding about system. In some cases, consensus on partially verified system design invokes customers'continuous change demands and often it tends to result in unnecessary project delays. PDM application system implementation project of the company L has been studied here to solve these sorts of problems. The major yields of this work are achievement of a willing approval from customers and rapid system design under a time-limited and conceptually defined project scope and finally, through fully verified system design, we were able to reach successful system implementation.

2부에 걸친 한글의 컴퓨터 처리에 관한 논문으로서, 제1부에서는 한글문자의 컴퓨터 처리의 제문제점을 확인하고 이를 위한 해결책으로 이론적 기반의 확립을 제안 하였다. 한글문자의 일차원적 문법과 이차원적 구조를 각각 BNF와 " patternal structure"를 사용하여 정의하고 이로부터 모아쓰기를 위한 lexical analysis 및 Parsing a1gorithm을 이론적으로 토론 하였다. 모아쓰기 algorithm은 한글의 입력과 출력 모두에 응용이 가능하며, device-independence를 위해 "cardinal symbol set"의 개념을 소개하였다. 제2부에서는 한글 컴퓨터 처리의 역사적 개론과 상기 algorithm의 implementation 문제점들을 토론하고자 한다.

본 연구는 중고등학교의 컴퓨터 교과의 7차 교육과정의 운영 현황을 파악하여 교육과정의 개선에 관한 제언을 하고자 이루어졌다. 선택과목인 컴퓨터교과의 운영 현황은 1. 컴퓨터 보유 현황, 2. 컴퓨터교과목을 선택한 학교 현황, 3. 컴퓨터 과목 담당 교사의 전문성, 4. 컴퓨터교사의 업무량, 5. 컴퓨터 과목의 교수학습 자료, 6. 컴퓨터 교육과정의 문제점, 7. 컴퓨터 수업 운영의 어려운 점으로 나누어 분석하였다. 연구 자료는 2005년도 교육인적자원부의 교육통계, 2005년 9월의 국회국정감사자료를 이용하였고, 2005년도 7월에 경기도 충청도 지역의 컴퓨터 교사 191명을 대상으로 설문조사 및 심층 면접한 결과를 분석하였다. 결론에 교육과정 개선을 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

As China enters the 21st century, China is strengthening its position as a world power in an international position. However, there are still problems with Three Agricultural(Agricultural, Rural, Farmer) and unbalanced urban and rural villages. China, as one of the largest and most populous nations, values the development of three farms. Strategies such as "The Construction Of New Socialist Countryside" were a policy to solve rural problems, But they were not enough to achieve breakthrough results. In order to achieve more effective results, the Central Committee of THE STATE COUNCIL proposed The Document No.1 of "Opinion on the Implementation of The Rural Revitalization Strategy" in February 4, 2018 and published "The Rural Revitalization Strategy (2018-2022 )". The Yanbian region, which is the subject of this study, is the home of Korean-Chinese tribes and the Korean autonomous region. As a minority of Chinese ethnic minorities, the Korean-Chinese has their own unique culture, and Yanbian has distinct regional characteristics. As The Rural Revitalization Strategy was raised, Villages is showing positive change in accordance with policy implementation in Yanbian. This study analyzed the current status of policy implementation of The Rural Revitalization Strategy in Yanbian area and analyzed the policy contents and performances based on the of Yanbian Daily News. Based on the results of the analysis, I would like to help in suggesting a more rational development direction and building the villages.

Designer has recently required the supporting system to assist the design steps that are not simple and standardized. But, as it is often the case with many researches, the design support systems have the problems that the functional module's expansion and the flexible connection with the intelligent CAD System are insufficient. In this paper, we present a framework, EDSS Frame (Expanded Design Support System Frame) to improve in its problems. For the implementation of the EDSS Frame, we make the functional modules, the executable files and analyze a characteristic of the functional modules. Finally, we checked the cases that is generated. Through these works, we organize the algorithm of the running process in each cases. A user can make the process through the association of the functional modules. Also, we make the DLL files or algorithms for corresponding in change of the intelligent CAD System. User can make the additional file or algorithm for a new release of the intelligent CAD system. EDSS Frame can be used for the implementation of the design support system on a various fields, and assists a designer with the rapid reconstruction of the design support system through the continuous addition of the functional modules and the redefinition of the running process between the functional modules.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the usability of a prototype personal digital assistant (PDA)-based decision support system for the management of obesity through usability testing with end-users (Advanced Practice Nurses [APNs]) prior to its implementation in clinical settings. Methods: This descriptive study used observational and think aloud techniques to address the research question: what usability problems are perceived by end-users? Five APNs were provided with the scenarios and the list of tasks to evaluate the application. Their verbalizations were recorded through Morae usabil ity software. Data analysis was based on the data captured through Morae, transcriptions, notes, and the end-user survey. Results: End-users completed all the required tasks without encountering a severe usability problem, and agreed that the system was easy to use. clear, concise, and useful. Usability issues that were unrecognized by the developer or usability experts were identified by APNs. The usability problems were categorized according to positive characteristics, negative characteristics, and recommendations. The usability issues were discussed with the project team members, and solutions were suggested to improve the user interface of the PDA-based decision support system before the final implementation. Conclusions: This approach had an important impact on making the system easier to use and more useful from the perspective of design and content. The results of this evaluation provided iterative feedback regarding the design and implementation of the PDA-based decision support system for the management of obesity.

The levels of unemployment and poverty are extremely high and two of South Africa's most pressing problems. There is also a widely acknowledged need for housing and municipal infrastructure (water supply, sewerage, streets, storm water drainage, and electricity, refuse collection). From a theoretical perspective supported by experience elsewhere in Africa, there are reasons for considering that properly formulated employment creation programmes based on the use of labour-intensive methods could be established to construct and maintain the required physical infrastructure, thus creating employment, skills and institutional capacities. Over the past 30 years several projects have been initiated in South Africa to counter unemployment and poverty. Given the socio-economic conditions and political objectives (regarding development, employment creation and alleviation of poverty), it is anticipated that future large-scale construction projects will be proposed by the public sector (National, Provincial and Local Government). The paper will first examine the main tenets of the implementation of development projects through the use of labour-intensive construction and a description of progress elsewhere in Africa and their potential contribution which public works programmes could make to alleviate the poverty and unemployment problems. The research will then analyse the successes and challenges that have been experienced in South Africa in relation to the implementation of development projects over the past 30 years. The paper closes with recommendations and lessons for the future.
