BlM실행을 위한 표준계약체계 보완에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Complement of Stand Agreement System for the BlM Implementation)

  • Building Information Modeling (BIM) has the great possibility of transforming the AEC industry. BIM will require increased information exchange and mutual collaboration between all stakeholders. BIM implementation and such increased collaboration can affect legal issues and contract provisions. And some legal issues accompanying BIM Implementation will be raised while a large change also comes in responsibility and role between all stakeholders. However, current standard agreement system is based on fragmented agreement between the architect and the owner, and between the owner and the contractor. Another legal obstacles and considerations associated with BIM implementation will be arose from BlM technology and use of BIM. AEC professionals in Korea have long utilized the standard agreement forms as well and look forward complementation of current standard agreement for BlM implementation. Such complement direction for the standard agreement will be examined by investigating the legal issues and overview comparison between AlA E202 and ConsensusDOCS 301.

  • 프로젝트를 성공적으로 수행하기 위한 ERP시스템의 구축은 학자마다 여러 단계를제시하고 있으나 아무리 구체화된 계획을 가지고 출발하더라도 ERP시스템를 구축하다 보면시스템을 사용하기도 전에 여러 가지 문제점과 장애물에 직면하게 된다. 따라서 ERP를 구축하는 데 발생할 수 있는 문제점을 최소화하기 위하여 실제 컨설팅회사의 벤치마킹의 자료를 근거로 3가지 쟁점에서 나타나는 12가지의 변인을 가지고 ERP프로젝트의 단계별 모델을개발 제시하였다. 여기서 실제사례의 주요 내용을 6단계 기준에서 분석하고 나아가 전 과정을 집행하기 전에 비용과 시간을 절약하기 위한 몇 가지 주요 기준과 선택적 요인을 기술하며 나아가 단축되고 빠른 방법의 단계별 모델도 축소화하여 제시하고자 한다.

TMS320VC5402 DSP를 이용한 G.723.1A 음성부호화기의 실시간 구현 (Real-time Implementation of G.723.1A Speech Coder Using a TMS320VC5402 DSP)

  • This paper describes the issues associated with the real-time implementation of G.723.1A dual-rate speech coder on a TMS320VC5402 DSP. Firstly, the main features of the G.723.1A speech coder and the procedure involved in the implementation using assembly and C languages are discussed. Various real-time implementation issues such as memory/MIPS tradeoffs are also presented. For fixed-point implementation, we converted the ITU-T fixed-point ANSI C code into TMS320VC5402 code in the bit-exact way through verification using the test vectors. Finally, as the result of implementation, we present the MIPS and memory requirement for the real-time operation.

데이터 웨어하우징의 구현특성요인과 품질간의 관계에 관한 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Investigation of the Factors Affecting Data Warehousing Success)

  • The IT implementation literature suggests that various implementation factors play critical roles in the success of an information system; however, there is little empirical research about the implementation of data warehousing has unique characteristics that may impact the importance of factors that apply to it. in this study, a cross-sectional survey investigated a model of data warehousing success. Data warehousing managers and data suppliers from 51 organizations completed paired mail questionnaires on implementation factors and the success of the warehouse. The results from a regression analysis of the data identified relationships between the system quality and data quality factors and perceived net benefits. It was found that management support and resources help to address organizational issues that arise during warehouse implementations, resources, user participation, and highly-skilled project team members increase the likelihood that warehousing projects will finish on-time, on-budget, with the right functionality; and diverse, unstandardized source systems and poor development technology will increase the technical issues that project teams must overcome. The implementation's success with organizational and project issues, in turn, influence the system quality of the data warehouse; however, data quality is best explained by factors not included in the research model.

문재인 정부 교육개혁의 쟁점과 과제 : 교육개혁의 방향과 내용, 추진방식을 중심으로 (Educational Reform of the Moon Jae-In Government: Issues and Tasks)

  • 본 연구는 문재인 정부가 출범한지 1년이 넘어가는 시점에서 현 정부 교육개혁의 쟁점을 고찰 분석하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 문재인 정부의 출범이 교육정치학적으로 어떠한 의미를 지니고 있는지를 먼저 고찰하고, 이러한 배경 하에서 문재인 정부의 교육개혁 정책의 방향과 내용 그리고 추진방식은 어떻게 전개되고 있는지를 살펴보았다. 그리고 현 시점에서 교육개혁의 방향과 내용, 추진방식에서 제기되고 있는 주요 쟁점은 무엇인지, 그리고 그러한 쟁점을 해소하기 위한 향후 추진과제는 무엇인지를 논구하였다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 문재인 정부의 교육정책에 대한 쟁점과 과제에 대한 논의로부터 향후 문재인 정부 교육개혁이 취해야 할 바람직한 방향으로 문재인 정부에서 향후 새로운 교육체제를 구현하기 위해 비전과 방향성과 관련된 담론, 그리고 그 담론을 구체화시키기 위한 교육정책과 구성원들의 인식전환이라는 측면을 복합적으로 고려해야 함을 강조하고 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 정부의 초기 단계에서 정책의 방향과 내용 그리고 추진방식을 점검할 수 있는 계기를 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

한국기업의 ERP관리 이슈에 관한 탐색적 연구 -A사의 사례를 중심으로- (A Study on the Determination of Key Issues in the ERP - enabled BPR Implementation in Korea)

  • As more organizations undertake IT-enabled business process reengineering(BPR), IT-enabled BPR projects become a major concern. Especially, one of IT, Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) is recognized as a revolution solution. But the success cases of ERP project are rarely reported. In this study, ERP implementation is defined as a IS implementation project based on BPR concepts To explore the issues of implementing ERP systems, a company implementing ERP successfully in Korea is selected. The research framework consists of four components: 1) strategic plan dimension , 2) organizational environment dimension, 3) implementation process dimension, and 4) IT dimension. On this framework, to implement ERP systems successfully, the analysis of the results clearly suggests appropriate planning, top management support, change management, appropriate methodology , ERP specialist commitment, management of standard process and master data, and the extent of IT localization.

Suggestions for Resolving the Social Conflict in Affordable Housing

  • The purpose of this study is to employ a method called 'conflict impact assessment' to analyze the progress, background, cause and relevant issues of conflicts related with affordable housing for youth (Happiness Housing Project), a project that has been implemented since last May 2013, thereby identifying the relevant problems and draw out objectives for improvement. The researchers expect that this study will contribute to solving the current issues regarding Happiness Housing, and contribute to improving the quality of the government's policies. For the above purpose, literatures on Happiness Housing produced from August to November 2013 were reviewed, in-depth telephone or face-to-face interviews were conducted with personnel associated with project implementation in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation and LH, etc., and major interested parties including Yangcheon-gu residents. Key issues identified regarding Happiness Housing construction include: the way that the project was implemented, living quality of residents, impact on educational environment, inconsistence with existing plans, relatively high construction cost, insolvency of public corporations, land use fee issue with Korail, need of preliminary feasibility survey, securing sufficient amount for supply and issue of additional designation, likelihood of finishing construction in time and issues related with actual source of demand, etc. Through analysis of conflict development and positions of interested parties, the main causes of the conflicts were identified as follows: lack of deliberation on pledges during election, lack of viability review on pledges, lack of conflict management plans, one-way implementation without consent of interested parties, project plans established with no regard to local circumstances, frequent project revision, underwehlming level of conflict management. In order to address issues above, the following measures need to be taken: selecting election pledges based on actual effectiveness, thorough assessment on pledges by relevant departments, gradual implementation based on consideration of the actual circumstances, participation of key interested parties, consistent policy and adopting conflict management techniques that reflect the reality.

Safety Management Practices in Small and Medium Enterprises in India

  • Background: Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are often the main pillar of an economy. Minor accidents, ergonomics problems, old and outdated machinery, and lack of awareness have created a need for implementation of safety practices in SMEs. Implementation of healthy working conditions creates positive impacts on economic and social development. Methods: In this study, a questionnaire was developed and administered to 30 randomly chosen SMEs in and around Mumbai, Maharashtra, and other states in India to evaluate safety practices implemented in their facilities. The study also looked into the barriers and drivers for technology innovation and suggestions were also received from the respondent SMEs for best practices on safety issues. Results: In some SMEs, risks associated with safety issues were increased whereas risks were decreased in others. Safety management practices are inadequate in most SMEs. Market competitiveness, better efficiency, less risk, and stringent laws were found to be most significant drivers; and financial constraints, lack of awareness, resistance to change, and lack of training for employees were found to be main barriers. Conclusion: Competition between SMEs was found to be major reason for implementation of safety practices in the SMEs. The major contribution of the study has been awareness building on safety issues in the SMEs that participated in the project.

통합 데이타 환경: 개념 및 구현기술 (Integrated Data Environment (IDE): Concept & Implementation Technology)

  • An Integrated Data Environment (IDE) is the end state of the CALS vision. It refers to an environment where all the data generated from the entire lifecycle activities of a product can be shared by anyone that participates in the management. engineering, manufacturing, or support of the product, although the data are geographically distributed and are maintained in heterogeneous platforms. The primary purpose of this paper is to introduce the fundamental concept, architecture, and core implementation technology of an IDE. The secondary purpose is to suggest some strategic directions to the planning staffs in both government and industry. and to suggest some research issues to the researchers in academia. The reference architecture of an IDE being developed by the US DoD and that of NIIIP (National Industrial Information Infrastructure Protocol) being developed by a consortium are discussed. Two principal issues of implementing an integrated database, i.e., distributed object computing including CORBA and multi-database system (MDBS) are reviewed. As a conclusion. the author suggests that daring investment in prototyping an IDE by a nationwide consortium is essential to keep up with the advanced countries in CALS implementation.

국내 패션산업의 Quick Response System 추진 현황과 문제점 (Implementation Issues to Quick Response System in Korean Fashion Industry)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the current status of Quick Response adoption, and to recognize the implementation problems of QR system in the Korean fashion industry. We reviewed the theoretical background of QR system, analyzed the current status of QR adoption, and identified critical issues to implement the system in our fashion business environment. Previous literatures and information gained from communication service organizations were used for this study The major problems recognized are lack of inter-organizational information network, closed supply channels, non-standardization of QR implementation, and low level of information technology usage including KAN, POS, and EDI. Strong mutual partnership between streams for shared common goals and clear QR mind setting of top management with commitment to information sharing are considered needed for the successful adoption of QR system in domestic fashion industry.
