The objectives of this study is to develop a strategy for the adoption of BPM(Business Process Management) standards and an implementation guideline of the BPM standard for BPM solution developers focusing on BPEL(Business Process Execution Language) which is regarded as the most important BPM standard. In the heterogeneous and distributed IT environments, every type of enterprise software requires standards to enhance interoperability. BPMS(Business Process Management System), which is a type of enterprise software requires BPM standards such as BPEL(Business Process Execution Language), BPMN(Business Process Modeling and Notation), BPQL(Business Process Query Language) and so on to achieve multi-system interoperability and component interoperability with their BPM solutions. It is quite helpful to provide the adoption strategy concerning BPM standards for each type of BPM solution vendors who need the BPM standards. Since the BPEL is conceived as the most important BPM standard and widely adopted by many BPM vendors, we have proposed a reference architecture for BPEL implementation and also developed the detail implementation guideline of core components of the BPM system supporting the BPEL standard. Using the strategy and implementation guideline proposed in this work, BPM solution vendors can establish their own standard adoption strategy and they can also develop their BPM solutions supporting the BPM standards more efficiently.

Digital Game design with educational purposes and User Experience measurement via game analytics has been extensively covered in literature, however non-digital games such as tabletops in education and its corresponding educational impact have limited research. In this paper, we propose a guideline to create non-digital educational games from scratch and evaluate them based on the know-how of developers and the investigation of scholars who have studied the engagement factors related to the digital games and applied their findings to non-digital games. Along with the guideline we provide an actual implementation, a game called HXGN_766, meant to serve as scaffolding of computational thinking and rudimentary Python programing concepts. We believe both, guideline and game, can be a useful reference for those interested on game design, educational content design, game quality control check, and unplugged computer science activities. This is the first in a series of papers where the game design concept, the evaluation methodology and the game itself will be presented with more detail.

Background : Despite favorable effects of guidelines on patient care, guidelines often fail to achieve their objectives. Poorly implemented medical practice guidelines can produce only weak effects on the process of health care delivery. Therefore, we performed this study to investigate barriers related development of clinical practice guidelines. Methods : Cardiopulmonary resuscitation was selected as a target problem. Self questionnaires about management of cardiopulmonary resuscitation were developed by a researcher with advisory 8 experts. The questionnaires were designed as a unstructured methods. The data were collected from March 1 to May 31, 1999. A total 50 death case admitted inpatient to Inha University Hospital were subjected to evaluate the development and application of clinical practice guidelines for cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The data were examined by frequency, t-test with SPSS. Result : The article reviewed several common barriers that might limit successful implementation of guidelines in clinical practice, as illustrated by evaluating recommendations for cardiopulmonary resuscitation clinical practice guidelines. Some major problems with guidelines were characterized as follows (1) ethical problem : euthanasia, (2) occurrence on various emergency event and setting, (3) non-medical problems (4) unreliable of medical record etc. Conclusion : Careful analysis of guideline attributes, anticipated effect on medical care, and organizational factors revealed several barriers to successful guideline implementation that should be addressed in the design of future guideline-based interventions.

In both Korea and the U.S., science education leaders and specialists insist that there is a shortage of curricula to address the new national science education guidelines in support of reform. This paper addresses development of new curricula for science education reform in the hopes of facilitating further development of guideline-based curricula. We examine Korean and U.S. thematic-based (Korean Science Field Trip at Cultural Sites Program and U.S. Graduate Teaching Fellows in K-12 Education) and project-centered (Korean Teachers for Exciting Science and U.S. Foundational Approaches in Science Teaching Program) programs. Using the criteria of rationale for curriculum, content and scope, processes of implementation, and assessment strategies, we identify the curricular components that are common across four successful secondary science programs and determine which of these components address the national guidelines. Our findings indicate that common components of these four programs meet the expectations of the science guidelines being used to revamp science education in both countries. Therefore, these programs not only engage secondary students and teachers in practicing successful science education, but also lead to successful science education practices that can be incorporated in the future development of curriculum to support secondary science reform.

The Japanese Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Standard on Drugs was finalized as a guideline and implemented in April, 1983. This standard is intended to ensure the quality and integrity of the data from nonclinical toxicity studies submitted to the Ministry of Health and Welfare in support of applications for approval to manufacture or import new drugs or to be used in the reevaluation of previously approved drugs. The standard includes a guideline for organizational matters, personnel, facility, equipment, testing operation, documentation and conduct of studies. Principles and influences of implementation of Japanese GLP will be discussed briefly in comparison with foreign GLPs.

집중호우 및 돌발홍수로 인한 하천재해의 대부분은 지방하천과 소하천에서 발생하고 있으며, 소하천의 경우 주로 미 정비하천에서 피해가 발생하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 최근 10년간(2001~2010)의 조사 결과는 소하천정비사업비가 증가함에 따라 소하천 피해 또한 변동성은 있으나 전체적으로 감소하는 경향을 보이는 것으로 나타나 소하천정비사업이 소하천의 재해예방에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 재해예방을 위하여 위험도가 큰 소하천을 우선지원하고 산간지역이나 보존지역 및 농경지 구간과 같이 상대적으로 정비효과가 낮은 소하천은 정비사업 대상선정 시 제외하기 위하여 소하천정비사업 선정기준을 개발하였다. 개발된 선정기준 세부항목별 배점기준의 적정성을 검토하기 위하여 212개 소하천에서 수집된 현황자료를 구간별로 도시하고 구간별 분포를 분석하였는데, 대부분의 항목이 정규분포를 보이는 것으로 나타나 배점구간이 잘 결정되었음이 입증 되었다. 본 연구를 통해서 결정된 소하천정비사업 선정기준은, 재해위험이 높은 하천을 우선 선정함으로써 최소한의 소하천정비사업 비용으로 최대한의 재해예방효과를 거두기 위한 선정기준으로 활용이 가능하다. 더불어 소하천정비사업 선정시 홍수터조성을 위한 농경지 확보사업 지구는 특별선정대상 지구로써 우선순위를 부여함으로써 정비효과가 낮은 소하천에 대해서는 하천을 정비하지 않고 하류의 홍수피해를 최소화하는 방향으로 소하천정비를 유도할 수 있다.

This study synthesizes previous research accomplishments with analysis of problems and counterplan for the riparian forest zone management and ongoing research strategy is suggested. If a part of budgets for water use allotments is supported for forest watershed owner, this policy for the forest owner could encourage the forest management of watershed. Integrated riparian forest management guideline in city and county needs to be established for the implementation of government guidelines. Base on the guideline, working plans of city and county could be evaluated. Public Forest Tending Work for stream water quality and quantity conservation should be enlarged for forest watershed and forest area management in five big river watersheds. Forest watershed should be managed with a connected system for a pollutant reduction strategy in urban and industrial areas.

IALA Guideline 1132 is intended to assist authorities in implementing the procedures described in IALA Recommendation R1012: VTS Communications with the objective of harmonizing VTS communications through the use of standard message structure and phraselogly. For this reason, it is recommended that VTS Authorities put adequate procedures in place to ensure its consistent and correct implementation for the actual VTS operation as is now being considered in IALA as part of the VTS English language proficiency test. In light of the 2022 publication of IALA Guideline 1132: VTS Voice Communications and Phraseology, in this sense, the potential evaluative variables will be studied in the context of this presentation.

As many organizations have adopted and implemented ERP systems, concerns about ERP performance also have increased. Former researches studied the ERP implementation of general large or medium size enterprises but there are not enough studies on ERP systems of a specific industry domain. In this paper, we introduce a case study on ERP adoption methodology of global leading company 'D' in shipbuilding and marine engineering industry. We examined ERP implementation background, method and scope and evaluated ERP performance in perspective of both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Quantitative research usually examines ERP performance based on financial statements and qualitative study typically examines organization change or improvement. As a result, ERP implementation in shipbuilding and marine industry can improve quantitative aspects such as cost, human resource and organization performance. As qualitative analysis, business process and tools can be unified and management transparency can be improved by ERP implementation. The result of this paper will be useful guideline for organizations which are considering ERP systems.
