최근 대부분의 첨단 임무 (mission critical) 시스템이 컴퓨터 노드 연결에 의한 Ethernet 네트워크 기반으로 구성되고 있어, 이에 따른 시스템 신뢰성 측면이 더욱 중요한 요소로 대두되고 있다. 본 논문은 첨단 임무 시스템의 신뢰도를 높이기 위하여 일반화되고 있는 고장 극복(Fault Tolerant) Ethernet의 개념을 이중화 관점에서 정립하고, 이를 위한 핵심 사항인 노드 이중화 구현 방식을 비교하여 제시한다. 고장 극복개념을 위한 기본 구성인 Ethernet 이중화를 독립형 이중화와 통합형 이중화로 구분하여 분석하였다. 또한 노드 이중화 구현 방식은 기존의 소프트웨어 접근 방식과 하드웨어 접근 방식은 물론, 최근 본 연구팀의 일부가 제안한 복합 (hybrid) 방식도 함께 비교 대상으로 하였다. 실시간이 요구되는 첨단 임무 시스템의 경우는 하드웨어 접근 방식 또는 복합 방식이 적합하고, Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) 사용이 요구되는 시스템의 경우는 소프트웨어 접근 방식이나 복합 방식의 선택으로 귀결된다.

This paper describes the origins, evolution of Quality Function Deployment and its transfer to the West. Following a comprehensive review of the literature and how QFD has been defined, and applied, the paper analyses the critical factors which impinge on QFD implementation success. A discussion which covers the enabling criteria found to be inherent in Japanese applications is contrasted with the Western approaches documented hitherto. In particular the Company Wide Quality Control (CWQC) approach in Japan versus the emerging concept of Total Quality Management and their impact on QFD implementation. A critical analysis of the main differences isolated from the review of the literature and which characterise the Japanese method of QFD implementation which is leading, and The Western approaches which appear to be lagging is included in the paper, together with some useful conclusions:

An intelligent chat agent is a computer application that can have conversation with the user. This paper gives an overview of design and implementation of such a system in Java Expert System Shell (Jess) and have compared some of the limitations by using two different implementation approaches.

In recent decades, significant effort has led to risk-informed improvements to regulation. Performance-based approaches also promise significant gains in efficiency (level of safety versus effort). However, significant work remains to be done before performance-based approaches realize their full potential in regulation of nuclear power plants. This paper reviews key concepts related to performance-based regulation, discusses some applications of performance-based approaches, and identifies issues that still need to be addressed. Realistic, experience-based models of licensee performance are still lacking; this makes it difficult to assess the prospective effectiveness of any given regulatory approach, in light of the performance issues that it will actually face. Also, while 'compliance' is an intuitively straightforward concept to apply within a prescriptive implementation, its analog in a performance-based approach remains unclear. An overarching theme of the paper is that formal methods of decision analysis are very helpful in developing appropriate regulatory approaches, especially performance-based ones; this theme is illustrated at several points.

White-box cryptography is an implementation technique in order to protect secret keys of cryptographic algorithms in the white-box attack model, which is the setting that an adversary has full access to the implementation of the cryptographic algorithm and full control over their execution. This concept was introduced in 2002 by Chow et al., and since then, there have been many proposals for secure implementations. While there have been many approaches to construct a secure white-box implementation for the ciphers with SPN structures, there was no notable result about the white-box implementation for the block ciphers with Feistel structure after white-box DES implementation was broken. In this paper, we propose a secure white-box implementation for a block cipher SEED with Feistel structure, which can prevent the previous known attacks for white-box implementations. Our proposal is simple and practical: it is performed by only 3,376 table lookups during each execution and the total size of tables is 762.5 KB.

Essences, needs and features of formation of national innovative development model of Kazakhstan are proved on the basis of analysis of various research approaches to realization of the modernization that exist in the world economic theory. For studying the problems of innovative development of the country, there was a need for the formulation of a number of definitions, disclosure of their contents, changing the approaches to reform, as well as adjusting their targets. In the article the general scientific research methods used dialectic, abstraction, systemic and situational approach, empirical and theoretical and analytical methods, and logic modeling. The proposed approach to the implementation of innovative development based on the use of evolutionary and institutional approaches to the study of the problems of implementing an effective innovation policy. This approach is intended to contribute to the development of a forward strategy of modernization, innovative development and higher competitiveness of the national economy. The study proved the causes and features of the implementation of innovative development model in Kazakhstan.

1990년대 이후 많은 기업들은 ERP를 도입하여 조직의 업무 전반을 통합시키고 실시간으로 업무를 처리함으로써 경쟁력을 높이고 경영성과를 크게 개선하고자 하고 있다. 그러나 ERP 시스템을 도입하면 기존의 업무 수행절차와 방법 대신 ERP 패키지가 제공하는 표준 업무 프로세스와 시스템 기능을 적용함으로써 기업 경영의 관리방법을 획기적으로 바꾸어야 한다. 조직의 ERP 도입이란 이처럼 기존의 업무 수행 절차와 방법 대신 ERP 패키지가 제공하는 프로세스와 기능을 기업 내 업무기능에 적용하여야 한다는 측면에서 매우 혁신적인 특징을 가지고 있으며, 조직 변화를 필수적으로 수반하게 된다. 따라서 효과적인 ERP 구현을 위해서는 기업이 처한 경영환경과 ERP 도입 목적에 적합한 구축 방법을 선택하고 변화관리 이행 프로그램을 적용하는 것이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 ERP를 구축하는데 어떠한 조직적 환경 요인이 영향을 미치고, ERP 구축 방법에 따라 변화관리의 특성이 어떻게 달라지며, 변화관리가 ERP성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 파악하기 위한 프레임워크를 제시한 후, 이를 근간으로 점진적, 혹은 혁신적인 구축방법을 통하여 ERP를 구축한 기업들의 환경적 특성과 도입 프로세스, ERP구축 방법에 따른 변화관리 특성 및 ERP성과를 살펴보았다. 연구결과, ERP구축방법은 ERP 구축 환경에 따라 차이를 보였으며, ERP 구축방법에 따라 변화관리 특성이 달라져야 한다는 사실을 발견하였다. 변화관리 방법 중에서도 최고 경영자의 리더십과 현업 직원의 적극적인 참여 및 전사적인 커뮤니케이션은 ERP 구축방법과 관계 없이 중요한 핵심 요인으로 나타났다. 그리고 ERP 구축과정에 있어 변화관리 활동은 ERP 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 사실도 파악하였다. 본 연구로 얻은 시사점은 ERP를 구현하고자 하는 많은 국내 기업들이 자사의 환경에 적합한 ERP 구축 방법을 선정하고 적합한 변화관리 방법을 전개하여 보다 성공적인 ERP 구축 성과를 낼 수 있도록 하는데 가이드라인을 제공해 줄 것으로 기대한다.

Joint probabilistic data association filter(JPDAF) for multi-target tracking was developed for real-time implementation, while it abandoned an algorithm for track initiation. In this paper, we propose three features for track initiation that can be adapted to the JPDA filter. In addition, with the proposed approaches, the performance of track maintenance is evaluated in the case of tracks being near. To eliminate the abundant false tracks, we exploit the simple method using the state error covariances. Simulations are performed to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed approaches.

Getting evidence in to practice tends to focus on strategies, theories and studies that aim to close the gap between research knowledge and clinical practice. The evidence to practice gap is more about systems than individual clinician decision making. The absence of evidence for administration and management in the organization of healthcare is persistent. Teaching nurses and providing evidence as the solution to evidence-based healthcare is no longer axiomatic. Previous studies have concluded that unit level strategies integrate multi-professional teams with organizational needs and priorities. This 'best fit' approach that characterizes how healthcare is structured and delivered. The published literature shows that increased readiness for change is aligned with integrated approaches informed by conceptual models. The Joanna Briggs Collaboration is the largest global collaboration to integrate evidence within a theory informed model that brings together academic centres, hospitals and health systems for evidence synthesis, transfer and implementation. The best approaches to implementation are tailored to local culture and context, benchmark against international evidence, combine a theory informed model and stakeholder perspectives to improve the structure and processes of health care policy and practice.

As many organizations have adopted and implemented ERP systems, concerns about ERP performance also have increased. Former researches studied the ERP implementation of general large or medium size enterprises but there are not enough studies on ERP systems of a specific industry domain. In this paper, we introduce a case study on ERP adoption methodology of global leading company 'D' in shipbuilding and marine engineering industry. We examined ERP implementation background, method and scope and evaluated ERP performance in perspective of both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Quantitative research usually examines ERP performance based on financial statements and qualitative study typically examines organization change or improvement. As a result, ERP implementation in shipbuilding and marine industry can improve quantitative aspects such as cost, human resource and organization performance. As qualitative analysis, business process and tools can be unified and management transparency can be improved by ERP implementation. The result of this paper will be useful guideline for organizations which are considering ERP systems.
