  • We suggest a distributed communication and management methodology using PC to PC Query multicasting strategy for efficient management of medical images produced by DICOM(Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) Modalities. It is absolutely necessary to reduce strict degradation of PACS system due to large sire of medical images and their very high transport rates. DICOM PC to PC Component is composed of a Service Manager to execute requested queries, a Communication Manager to take charge of file transmission, and a DICOM Manager to manage stored data and system behavior Each Manager itself is a component to search for requested file by interaction or to transmit the file to other PCs. Distributed management and transformation of medical information based on PC to PC Query multicasting methodology will enhance performance of central server and network capacity, reducing overload on both. We organize three major components for system operation. Each component is implemented as Agent. Communication between agents uses XML encoded Agent Communication Language.

  • Medical images are being managed more by PACS in general medical institutions. It is important to protect patients from being invaded their privacy related to the images. It is also necessary to confirm the ownership, the right of properity of the medical images and notice whether the data are modified. In this paper, we propose a robust watermarking against RST attacks in medical images on the PACS. The proposed scheme modifies and improves Log-Polar Mapping and Fourier Mellin Transform in order to realize and recover serious image degradation and watermark data loss caused by the conversion between cartesian coordinate and log-polar coordinate. We used the radius and theta Look Up Table to solve the realization of the Fourier Mellin Transform, and inserted a watermark into 2D-DFT magnitudes using Spread Spectrum. Experimental results shows that this method are robust to several attack.

  • This paper propose a novel method for tracking moving object based on covariance matrix and Riemannian Manifolds. With image backgrounds continuously changed, we use the covariance matrices to extract features for tracking nonrigid object undergoing transformation and deformation. The covariance matrix can make fusion of different types of features and has its small dimension, therefore we enable to handle the spatial and statistical properties as well as the component correlation. The proposed method can estimate the position of the moving object by employing the covariance matrix of object region as a feature vector and comparing the candidate regions. Rimannian Geometry is efficiently adapted to object deformation and change of shape and improve the accuracy by using geodesic distance to predict the estimated position with the minimum distance. The experimental results have shown that the proposed method correctly tracked the moving object.

  • Urban Skyline is strongly influenced by high-rise buildings. It is changed and becoming over time and is formed by the human choice. This study does an analysis of the foreign urban skyline managements in three aspects: criteria and control, operation and deliberation, and citizen participation and inducement. It draws common characteristics of foreign cases; preparing rational and premeditated building height control in the aspect of district, transformation from height restrictions of individual building to height standards in the aspect of urban landscape, devising efficient design review and citizen participation methods, and administrative processing for an integrated building height management. It also suggests policy implications for preparing both comprehensive and systematic building height standards in the aspect of district to create a desirable city image and urban skyline.

  • In general, in order to obtain position information from satellite images, satellite sensor model which represents the geometric relationship between sensor and targeted area should be established in the first place. However, it is not simple for modelling pushbroom satellite sensor due to the image capturing process. In recent development of new generation imaging sensors, a generic sensor model, which is applicable to all types of sensors such as frame, pushbroom, whiskbroom, and SAR is in great need to the remote sensing and photogrammetry community. In this paper, the RFM as sensor model was implemented with KOMPSAT EOC and SPOT satellite images and analyzed in cases where the number and distribution of ground control points were varied. The test results of RFM were presented and compared with those of Direct Linear Transformation(DLT).

  • This study aims to expose the potential dangers of K-pop through the past and present of K-pop choreography copyrights and to suggest the need to secure digital choreography copyrights for the sustainability of K-pop considering national responsibility. As the content industry quickly sought countermeasures to digital transformation, such as the launch of K-pop platforms and the evolution of OMO (Online Merges with Offline) media commerce in response to changes in the industrial environment due to COVID-19, the annual export of the domestic content industry increased by 6.3% compared to the previous year. Accordingly, our copyright does not require that works be fixed in tangibles, as in Japan and Germany, on the basis of entrusting each country's legislation to determine whether to require fixation on choreographed works. On the other hand, the United States, France and the United Kingdom are demanding that it be fixed. Although choreography is at the center of K-pop and the value and influence of K-pop videos including cover dance through new media are discussed from various perspectives, copyright on choreography that needs to be resolved in business platforms for K-pop scalability The fact that there is such a big difference in problem perception is an area where we must not lose our vigilance. As the development of today's technology, the method of fixing a choreography looks very easy as an image, but at the same time can be stolen very quickly. Therefore, compared to overseas cases, it is urgent to improve the difference in perception of copyright registration for K-pop choreography and to supplement the system include the NFT.

  • The aim of this study is to investigate morphological characteristics of Hanbok images in children's books and propose a direction for the modernization and globalization of traditional culture. This study examines 43 children's books by contemporary foreign illustrators that contain Hanbok illustrations and analyzes them from postcolonial perspective. The results include the following three attributes: first, the transformation of clothing structure and donning method that confuse fundamentals of Korean costume; second, the Westernization of silhouette drawing with tailored garments analogous to Western dress; and third, extension to East Asian dress that represents Hanbok mixed with Chinese or Japanese costume and use what is considered to be the East Asian patterns instead of Korean traditional ones. These attributes are based on Eurocentrism, which expresses and interprets the East from the Western view point with continuously distorted image of the East. Korean illustrators also painted Hanbok incorrectly, which could influence foreign illustrators. Nevertheless, traditional dress illustrated in various ways has artistic value and has a popular global impression. Further, it enables children to experience either own or other cultures through dress illustrations. Thus, the outsider requires an in-depth understanding of other cultures, while the insider needs a critical perception of their own culture as described by others while revisiting the original resources. Furthermore, we suggest follow-up research on Hanbok for subsequent generations; publishing translated books on various topics, producing and disseminating a primer for diverse readers, and essentially receiving counsel from experts.

  • This study examines the strategy of delivering the drama's poet Kim Soo-young and his literary works to the public through the drama (2004). This drama shows Kim's inner self and his literary view by inserting poems into scenes where the poet suffers internal conflict, while presenting relatively less well-known poems to broaden the public's understanding of poetry. In addition, the drama maintains viewers' interest by properly placing elements of conflict, and effectively shows how the conflict affected his life and the world of time. Therefore, the drama is a meaningful text that embodies a poet named Kim Soo-young in three dimensions along with the historical transformation and social problems of the time and the literary chapter of the time through the video.

  • The new social reality emerging amid the global rise of communication links and integration processes acutely emphasizes the problems of communication in large and small social systems. The method of their communication becomes one of the keys to ensuring global security. It has become the mission of humanitarian education to prepare the younger generations for life in a changing world with no image of the future and increasing uncertainty. In psychological and pedagogical research, there is a growing scientific interest in the problems of interaction of the individual with the social environment. The mental trace of a person's practice in society shapes the experience of social interaction, which constitutes simultaneously the source, tool, and condition for the emergence and development of personality. The study outlines the methodological foundations for the study of individual experiences of social interaction. A hypothesis about the productivity of the functional matrix method is tested. Materials for the training of specialists in the humanities include interdisciplinary approaches to the study and transformation of the experience of social interaction and systematic methodology for the study of complex objects. Fundamental to the study is the systematic-dialectical method, and the matrix method is employed as the instrumental-technological method. The paper presents the results of a multidisciplinary overview of scientific literature concerning the essential characteristics and functions of social interaction and the respective experience. The overview points to the fragmented nature of scientific understanding of the elements of experience outside its integrity and systemic properties. Based on the formula "personality interacts with the social environment", the study presents an algorithm for the application of a systematic methodology for the study of complex objects, which made it possible to identify the system parameters of experience at three levels of cognition and develop the reference structural and functional matrices for the didactic system of its pedagogical enrichment.

  • This paper presents a vibration displacement measurement and damage identification method for a space truss structure from its vibration videos. Features from Accelerated Segment Test (FAST) algorithm is combined with adaptive threshold strategy to detect the feature points of high quality within the Region of Interest (ROI), around each node of the truss structure. Then these points are tracked by Kanade-Lucas-Tomasi (KLT) algorithm along the video frame sequences to obtain the vibration displacement time histories. For some cases with the image plane not parallel to the truss structural plane, the scale factors cannot be applied directly. Therefore, these videos are processed with homography transformation. After scale factor adaptation, tracking results are expressed in physical units and compared with ground truth data. The main operational frequencies and the corresponding mode shapes are identified by using Subspace Stochastic Identification (SSI) from the obtained vibration displacement responses and compared with ground truth data. Structural damages are quantified by elemental stiffness reductions. A Bayesian inference-based objective function is constructed based on natural frequencies to identify the damage by model updating. The Success-History based Adaptive Differential Evolution with Linear Population Size Reduction (L-SHADE) is applied to minimise the objective function by tuning the damage parameter of each element. The locations and severities of damage in each case are then identified. The accuracy and effectiveness are verified by comparison of the identified results with the ground truth data.
