  • Since its discovery in 2004, graphene, a sp2-hybridized 2-Dimension carbon material, has drawn enormous attention. A variety of approaches have been attempted, such as epitaxial growth from silicon carbide, chemical reduction of graphene oxide and CVD. Among these approaches, the CVD process takes great attention due to its guarantee of high quality and large scale with high yield on various transition metals. After synthesis of graphene on metal substrate, the subsequent transfer process is needed to transfer graphene onto various target substrates, such as bubbling transfer, renewable epoxy transfer and wet etching transfer. However, those transfer processes are hard to control and inevitably induce defects to graphene film. Especially for wet etching transfer, the metal substrate is totally etched away, which is horrendous resources wasting, time consuming, and unsuitable for industry production. Thus, our group develops one-step process to directly grow graphene on glass substrate in plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD). Copper foil is used as catalyst to enhance the growth of graphene, as well as a temperature shield to provide relatively low temperature to glass substrate. The effect of growth time is reported that longer growth time will provide lower sheet resistance and higher VSG flakes. The VSG with conductivity of $800{\Omega}/sq$ and thickness of 270 nm grown on glass substrate can be obtained under 12 min growing time. The morphology is clearly showed by SEM image and Raman spectra that VSG film is composed of base layer of amorphous carbon and vertically arranged graphene flakes.

  • The present paper investigated the effect of ultrasonic vibrations on the melting process of a phase-change material (PCM). The melting process in the square cavity with a heated vertical wall has been studied in terms of acoustic streaming. In the present study, applying with ultrasonic vibrations to the liquid were found to induce acoustic streaming which was clearly observed using by a particle image velocimetry (PIV) and a thermal infrared camera. The experimental results revealed that acoustic streaming could accelerate the melting process as much as 2.5 times, compared to the rate of natural melting (i. e., the melting without acoustic streaming). In addition, temperature and Nusselt numbers over time provided conclusive evidence of the important role of the acoustic streaming on the melting phenomena of the PCM.

  • In gravure printing, all of the ink in the gravure cells does not leave the cell onto the substrate. The ink transfer from plate to paper in the gravure printing was simulated by computer. A few studies have dealt with cell withdrawal with simplified Newtonian flow models however, this work was performed with the non-Newtonian inks with different simulation software.

  • The rheological properties of an ink relate to its performance on the press and to the printing quality. So it is necessary to analyze the relationship between printability and the rheological properties of ink. Transfer rate of ink is one of the important factor deciding print quality. And it is concerned with rheological properties of ink. Thus, in this study, according to the molecular weight of rosin modified phenolic resin the rheological properties of ink were measured by rotational rheometer and then transfer equation of ink, density and gloss were mesured in order to examine the printability of ink.

  • This paper deals with a subject for implementation of L+ayer 1 and Layer 2(LAPD) of ISDN user-network interface on the basis of CCITT recommandation I.411, I.412, I.441 (Q.921), I.450(Q.930) and I.451 (Q.931) for ultrasonic image transfer. For the implementa tion of LAPD protocol of ISDN in this study. PC-CARD based hardware(TA :Terminal Adopt) is proposed and operating system (PC-XINU) supporting the Multiprocessing is transplanted to it. As the Service Access Point(SAP) is accessed by using the port of XINU and Layers which consist of transmitting and receiving part are independantly processed for each other in this proposed system. It can be easy and flexible to implement LAPD protocol for the message transfer.

  • This research paper examines the usage of graphic imaging in Holographic Projections to further advance the medical field. It highlights the importance and necessity of this technology as well as avant-garde techniques applied in the process of displaying images in digital holography. This paper also discusses the different types of applications for holograms in society today. Different tools were utilized to transfer a set of a cancer patient's brain tumor data into data used to produce a 3D holographic image. This image was produced through the transfer of data from one program to another. Through the use of semi-automatic segmentation through the seed region method, we were able to create a 3D visualization from Computed Tomography (CT) data.

  • Color providing compounds on image transfer process in color photo graphy was studied with polaroid and Kodak products as a model. These compounds was inititally alkali-mobile or alkali-immobile. Alkali-mobile compunds require imagewise immobilifation in the process or alkali immoble compounds require mobilization by the cleavage reaction. As a result of studies, the polaroid products was showed alkali mobile and Kodak product represented alkali immobile.

  • Both industrial interest and academic research are increasingly focusing on the need to institute a business environment whereby Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assumes a major role. It is suggested that four kinds of responsibilities constitute total CSR: economic, legal, ethical, and philanthropic responsibilities. Consumers tend to obtain positive perceptions toward the companies which collectively or partially fulfill these responsibilities. Moreover, the company image transfer process is the influence of consumer attitudes toward certain brands on overall evaluation of the company. To understand the image transfer process, we examine the influence of CSR level evaluation on overall brand evaluation in China, where active competitions among global brands exist.

  • We proposed the two-dimensional (2D) / three-dimensional (3D) convertible modified integral imaging system using functional polarizing film named $imazer^{TM}$, which transfer or scatter the incident light ray according to the polarizing direction of ray. When the incident light rays transfer to $imazer^{TM}$, the rays generate 3D image through the process of the modified integral imaging system. However, the scattered light rays generate 2D image through the simple backlight scheme when the incident rays are scattered by the film. The proposed method can be implemented the partial 3D display system without any mechanical movements. In this paper, we propose and verify our system using some basic experiments and its results.

  • In this paper, we propose a 3D view design scheme which arranges 2D information in a 3D virtual space with a flexible interface and voice information. The scheme allows the user interface of the 2D image in 3D virtual space anytime from any view point. Voice information can be easily attached. It is this simple and efficient image and voice information arrangement in 3D virtual space that improves information transfer.
