Focus on Digital Fashion Image, the conceptual framework for the thesis is established from Virtuality in Digital Art. Formative characteristics and aesthetic characteristics were studied by classifying the Digital Fashion Image applied and expressed by digital media and technology. A detective research method was used for a case study. A literature study for case-by-case data was analyzed with focus on the works expressing fashion that utilized digital media and technology since the 2000s. Through this study, the Digital revolution has created the socio-cultural impact of a Virtual representation to implement technology and fashion culture that finds ways to take advantage of the image shown in a Digital Fashion Media by understanding Virtuality. The results are as follows. First, it was a re-formation of the fashion culture through the experience of virtuality with mental zone parameters between the media 'Mediation Code'. Reflect the reality of the virtual environment as represented by a cultural image of fashion brands and fashion that reset the team relationship and formed a Homo Ludens cultural code. Second, 'Interactive Exchange' acts on the exchange interaction between the method of digital technology, the human and the machine as well as the technical interoperability of network elements and techniques. This exchange is applied to fashion images that express emotion. Forming personalized fashion items and the user interactively storage that expresses the interactive exchange to forward the identity of the emotional fashion by a change in the message delivery system fashion. Third, the emphasis on intuitive artistic expression 'Synesthesia Immersion' induces a sense of immersion and excitement through the fusion of the interconnected. Enhance a visual image in fashion sensory representation and maximize a tactile and visual virtual reality involvement.
Visual object tracking is a fundamental problem in the field of computer vision, as it needs a proper model to account for drastic appearance changes that are caused by shape, textural, and illumination variations. In this paper, we propose a feature-based visual-object-tracking method with a sparse representation. Generally, most appearance-based models use the gray-scale pixel values of the input image, but this might be insufficient for a description of the target object under a variety of conditions. To obtain the proper information regarding the target object, the following combination of features has been exploited as a corresponding representation: First, the features of the target templates are extracted by using the HOG (histogram of gradient) and LBPs (local binary patterns); secondly, a feature-based sparsity is attained by solving the minimization problems, whereby the target object is represented by the selection of the minimum reconstruction error. The strengths of both features are exploited to enhance the overall performance of the tracker; furthermore, the proposed method is integrated with the particle-filter framework and achieves a promising result in terms of challenging tracking videos.

This study aims to investigate the usage patterns of users in Social Network Services (SNS) where is an upsurge. Specifically, the paper considers the reason why young people more and more prefer online (or mobile) SNS activities rather than offline face-to-face social relationship. Furthermore, the drivers which affect SNS usages are considered from users' personal characteristics and social influences. User's personal characteristics include their personalities (extraversion and introversion), narcissism, and life satisfaction. Social influences involve subjective norm, visibility, and image. Affected by personal and social factors in SNS, users intend to show positive self-presentation, which refers to a behavior to selectively expose his/her goodness to others. As one of the most influential drivers affecting SNS usage, the positive self-representation has an effect on the level of SNS usage. Thus, this paper suggests the hypothesized research model focusing on positive self-representation in the relationship among personal characteristics, social influence, and user's behavior in SNS. Empirical data analysis with 100 questionnaires suggests that all hypotheses were adopted except for the effect of visibility among social influence factors on positive self-representation.
It does not exist almost that Most satellite image has both high spectral and spatial resolution. In order to apply the satellite image for to be actual, we need numerical and analytical technique development to improve the resolution. Specially in the function of solid illustration, we represent the solid image through the image generation to solid screen. The main function includes magnification, reduction, screen center movement, Panning, territory magnification. The method to process the image includes histogram and contrast modulation. Afterwards, we will develop the function includes 3-dimension cursor to control the elevation position and calculate the ground coordination automatically. There is the layer control includes the representation and the edition of 3D vector, extraction the Z value by On the Ground and digital elevation.
This paper describes a new image watermarking scheme invariant to rotation, scaling and translation (RST) attacks. For obtaining the invariance properties we propose to present an image of watermark by wedges and rings to convert its rotation to shift and then utilize the shift invariance property of the Direct Fourier Transform (DFT). But in contrast to conversional schemes based on the Fourier-Mellin transform (FMT), we do not use a log-polar mapping (LPM). As a result, our scheme preserves high quality of original image since it is not underwent to LPM For withstanding against JPEG compression, noise addition and low-pass (LP) filtering attacks a low frequency watermark is embedded into middle frequencies of the original image. Experiments with various attacks show the robustness of the proposed scheme.
In this paper, a generalized version of the Motion Silhouette Image(MSI) called the Generic Motion Silhouette Image (GMSI) is proposed for gait recognition. The GMSI is a gray-level image and involves the spatiotemporal information of individual motion. The GMSI not only generalizes the MSI but also reflects a flexible feature of a gait sequence. Along with the GMSI, we use the Principal Component Analysis(PCA) to reduce the dimensionality of the GMSI and the Nearest Neighbor(NN) for classification. We apply the proposed feature to NLPR database and compare it with the conventional MSI. Experimental results show the effectiveness of the GMSI.
In this paper, I propose flexible base point used for a BTC(Block Truncation Coding). Halftoning images are used for printer by reducing the number of pixel depth. During over 20 years, many researches have been studied to apply this techniques to image compression. BTC algorithms are the compression methods using digital halftoning technique about images. In the BTC algorithm, an image block is divided into higher and lower domain compared with the mean of block. then the MAX and MIN representative values are evaluated by calculating the mean of higher and lower domain respectively. At a result, an image block(for example 88 size) is compressed into 64bits pixel representation and 16 bits of the MAX and MIN. And they also have been tried to sustain the image quality high after compression. In this paper, I found that there is some marginal possibility to enhance the image quality by adjusting the base point(generally mean of block) of existing algorithms.
Image segmentation is the task of partitioning an image into multiple sets of pixels based on some characteristics. The objective is to simplify the image into a representation that is more meaningful and easier to analyze. In this paper, we apply deep-learning to pre-train the learning model, and implement an algorithm that performs image segmentation in real time by extracting frames for the stream input from the Android device. Based on the open source of DeepLab-v3+ implemented in Tensorflow, some convolution filters are modified to improve real-time operation on the Android platform.
In this paper, we studied two image characteristics, similarity and smoothness, which give rise to local and global redundancy in image representation. The similarty means that any patterns in the image repeat itself anywhere in the rest of image. The smoothness means that the gray level values within a given block vary gradually rather than abruptly. In this sense, we propose a lossless medical image compression scheme which exploits both types of redundancy. This method segments the image into variable size blocks and encodes them depending on characteristics of the block. The proposed compression schemes works better than other compression schemes such as the huffman, the arithmetic, the Lempel-Ziv and the lossless scheme of JPEG.

We use edge detection technique for the input image to extract the entire edges of the object in the image and then select only the edges that construct the outline of the object. By examining the positional relation between these pixels composing the outline, a simplified version of the outline of the object in the input image is generated by removing unnecessary pixels while maintaining the condition of connection of the outline. For each pixel constituting the outline, its direction is calculated by examining the positional relation with the next pixel. Then, we group the consecutive pixels with same direction into one and then change them to a line segment instead of a point. Among those line segments composing the outline of the object, a line segment whose length is smaller than a predefined minimum length of acceptable line segment is removed by merging it into one of the adjacent line segments. As a result, an outline composed of line segments of over a certain length is obtained through this process.
