본 논문에서는 저 품질의 한글 문서 영상에서 OCR 기반 검색 시스템의 대안으로 키워드 검출 시스템(Keyword Spotting)을 제안하고 OCR 기반 문서 검색 시스템과 비교한다. 제안 시스템은 문자 분할, 키워드 특징 추출 그리고 단어 매칭으로 구성된다. 문자 분할 단계에서는 인접한 두 문자간의 연결을 효과적으로 분리하면서 문자 넓이 값의 분산이 최소가 되도록 하는 문자 분할 방법을 제안한다. 키워드 특징은 서체별 문자 모델의 결합으로 구성한다. 단어 매칭 단계에서는 문자 매칭에 기반한 단어 대 단어 매칭 방법을 적용한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 키워드 검출 시스템의 성능을 평가하기 위해 한글 문서 영상을 대상으로 OCR 기반 문서 검색 시스템과 비교하였다. 그 결과 한글 글자 크기가 작고 문서의 상태가 좋지 않은 경우 제안한 키워드 검출 시스템에 의한 검색 성능이 OCR 기반 검색 시스템 보다 우수함을 입증하였다.

에이젠쉬테인은 1939년에 쓴 "영화의 구조The Structure of the Film"에서 파토스(pathos)를 예술 창작의 기본 원리로 설명한다. 그의 페이소스 또는 파토스는 관객을 엑스타시(ecstasy)로 이끄는 효과로 정의된다. 관객의 감정을 질적으로 변화시키는 것을 목표로 하는 파토스 구성은 에이젠쉬테인의 몽타주와 동일선상의 영화형식이며, 영화 표현의 핵심이다. 이 연구는 에이젠쉬테인이 예술가로서의 지위에 머물지 않고, 관객의 변화를 이끌기 위해 몽타주를 실험하고 그 연장에서 파토스 효과를 구축하고자 했던 논의의 배경을 살펴보았다. 에이젠쉬테인이 설명하는 예술작품에서의 파토스적 의미를 고찰하고, 관객의 감정을 변화시키기 위한 목적의 파토스 구성을 그가 분석한 영화의 사례를 통해 살펴보았다. 위대한 영화감독 가운데 하나인 에이젠쉬테인은 영화예술의 이론화를 추구하면서, 충돌 몽타주, 지적 이미지론, 파토스 구성 등의 원리를 통해 영화의 창작과 이론을 융합하고자 했던 것이다.

도시환경디자인에서의 간판의 역할은 상점을 알려주는 기능적인 면도 있지만 그 지역의 전반적인 분위기를 조성해주는 심미적인 면이 크다고 볼 수 있다. 간판이 도시환경에 미치는 영향은 크며 도시의 이미지를 결정한다. 도시환경의 구체적인 목표는 인간의 쾌적성을 확보하는 것이며 인간은 아름답고 쾌적한 도시환경에서 보다 질 높은 삶을 살기를 갈망하며 추구한다. 그러나 현재 서울을 비롯한 우리나라 도시는 난립된 광고물과 간판이 주변 환경과 조화를 이루지 못하고 있는 실정이며 도시환경의 질을 떨어뜨리고 시민들에게 시각적 불쾌감을 주는 공해요인으로 대두되고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 서울시와 동경도의 간판관리를 비교분석하여 서울시 간판관리의 문제점을 모색하여 보다 체계적으로 간판관리가 될 수 있도록 하고 간판 개선 방안을 모색하기 위한 기초 자료가 되도록 한다.

Purpose: To correct the facial asymmetry and to achieve symmetry and balance, not only the soft tissue restoration of deficits but also creation and facial contour line such as mandible border and angle is important. Micro fat graft has limitation such as high resorption rate and somewhat limited ability to emphasize the rigid bony characteristics of the mandible angle due to its innate soft consistency. We have investigated the advantages of dermal fat graft over micro fat graft to correct asymmetry of the lower face in patients who had undergone mandibular reconstruction or distraction, using comparative analysis. Methods: Total of 12 patients were enrolled in our study: 6 micro fat graft and 6 dermal fat graft. Postoperative results were compared and analyzed at immediate postoperative period and more than 1 year later in each group with photographs, and analysised with image J program. Result: No complications were noted both in the micro fat type and the dermal fat type of procedures such as fat necrosis or micro calcifications. All of the patients who received micro fat graft, however had considerable amount of fat resorption after the procedure which led to two additional fat graft procedures. Although minor contour obliteration due to contracture was seen in patients who had undergone dermal fat graft procedure, no definite resorption was found even after more than one year follow-up. Results of dermal fat graft patients were satisfactory in terms of mandible angle symmetry. Secondary revision was necessary in one case due to overcorrection using dermal fat graft. Conclusion: The dermal fat graft has many advantages over the conventionally more popular micro fat graft to correct asymmetry of the lower face following mandible reconstruction owing to its lower resoption rate, more effective in emphasizing the natural curvilinear anatomical contours of the mandible angle and body and lower complication rates such as fat necrosis or micro calcifications.

Over the past, the Korean Textile Industry has been able to establish as one of the most competent textile producer of the world. Today, however, with rapidly changing market requirements, the Korean Textile Industry is requested to improve systems for highvalue textile's market. In this regard, the purpose of this study is to propose suggestions for the strategy recommendations in the Korean Textile Design, researching on the highvalue-added Como Textile Design in Italy. As we analyzed them, the bases of their global success are as follows. 1) Participating in the making of the Global Trend in textile design market, Italian design companies lead to move international market influentially. 2) Dividing target depending on the country's textile market, Italian design companies build up their global marketing capability to increase design sale's effect. 3) Organizing and Participating in the international textile design show and fair, Italian companies attempt to set up Italian image creation as the global advertising. 4) Ensuring an adequate supply of human resource, Industry, Labor Unions, Government and Academy have a cooperative relationship to assist each other. In the basis of the above mentioned, we can suggest the strategies to accelate improvement and development in the Korean Textile and Textile Design Industry. 1) It needes to establish a monitoring system for current information in the International Textile Design Industry. 2) It needs to start building up Korean textile companies global marketing capability to produce adaptable design in market's request. 3) It needs to study and to find our traditional motifs continuosly for creating modern design following the recent Design Trend. Finally, It needs to have a close relationship between industry and education to establish human resource for the Korean Textile Industry's future success in the global market.

도로표지는 운전자에게 안전하고 편안하게 목적지까지 안내를 목적으로 하는 교통시설이다. 도로표지는 신규노선이나 노선의 변경 그리고 도로표지의 노후화 등에 의해 지속적으로 현지조사와 이를 데이터베이스화하는 노력이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 도로표지의 현지조사와 데이터베이스 구축을 효율적으로 수행할 수 있는 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 현지조사를 위한 모바일 매핑시스템을 설계하였다. 설계된 모바일매핑 시스템은 도로표지 영상정보를 획득할 수 있는 3대의 카메라, 차량의 위치와 자세를 알 수 있는 GPS/IMU/DMI, 그리고 도로표지 지점위치와 노선정보를 획득할 수 있는 레이저스캐너로 구성하였다. 또한 도로표지 영상에서 자동으로 도로표지 영역을 검출하고 이로부터 문자인식을 수행하는 절차를 제시하였다.

유아동 애니메이션 작품의 등장인물인 캐릭터의 경우, 작품의 핵심적 시각요소로서의 역할뿐만 아니라, 다양한 형태의 관련 비즈니스를 전개하는데 있어 핵심 콘텐츠로서 또한 그 가치가 크다고 하겠다. 본 연구의 목적은 사물을 인식할 때 단순한 형태를 더 빠르고 명확히 인식한다는 인간의 인지능력을 근거로, 기하학 평면도형을 활용하여 캐릭터 기본 형태를 분석하는 연구이다. 이를 위해 분석 기준을 확립, 이를 EBS에서 방영되고 있는 국산 유아동 애니메이션 작품들의 캐릭터들에게 적용하고 그 결과를 산출, 분석하는 일련의 과정을 통하여, 유아동 애니메이션 캐릭터의 외형을 결정짓는 기본 평면도형의 유형을 파악, 두상에서는 정원의, 몸통에서는 세로방향 원형 형태의 사용 빈도가 가장 높다는 결과를 도출할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 분석결과가 캐릭터 제작 시, 실무적 적용이 가능한 객관적 디자인 창작지표의 하나로 그 의미를 가질 수 있기를 희망해 본다.

오늘날 선진 각국들은 “초고속정보통신망의 구축"이라는 국가차원의 정책을 잇 따라 발표하고 있다. 이것은 단순히 정보통신망의 구축만을 의미하는 것이 아니라 앞으로 도래할 정보사회의 무한경쟁 시대에 대비하기 위한 것이다. 특히 이러한 초고속정보통신망의 구축은 전자문서와 전자결재의 활용을 가능하게 하여 사무관리의 측면에서도 많은 변화를 예고하고 있다. 따라서 우선 선진 각국의 초고속정보통신기반의 구축사례와 우리나라의 추진 정책을 고찰하였다. 이어서 이를 국가정보화추진의 관점에서 법과 제도의 정비 방안의 일환으로 작년에 제정된 정보화촉진기본법의 제정 사례를 중심으로 하여 살펴보았다 우리나가 초고속정보통신망기반의 구축사업은 이제 막 시작되었으므로 앞으로 사무관리의 측면에서 EDI의 적용업무 분야 등 보다 깊은 연구가 뒤따라야 할 것이다. 것이다.

Body has been high-lightened as one of the most important theme since the philosophy and the arts are focused on it in the late 20th century. It would be of worth to study the characteristics of contemporary fiber-art works, especially done by Abakanowiz who has been regarded as a dominant pioneer in the contemporary fiber-arts from the viewpoint of inter-grade of the physicals and the mental. This paper, therefore, deals with the Abaknowiz' works in the context of human body and body-signs. Life and works might be classified into 5 stages: first, learning period since her birth in 1930, second, creation period of Abakans, third, remodelling period of Abakans, fourth, composition and dissolution period of Abakans and the last and fifth, new transformation period of Abakans. 'Abakans' through her whole life as an artist have been a plastic language and based ultimately on external human body but in various materials and forms. Abakan as a human-sign uses the past experiences and the texts of the other world in mixed and overlapped forms. Life-size Abakans by Abaknowiz can be easily understood as Abakanowiz herself and her Polish ancestor at the same time. The neuter Abakans with mashed face and obscure body is a expressive figure of coexisting world with opposite concepts like war and ideology, anxiety and freedom, man and woman, and etc. Human body as body-sign is an extensive image has existed since our forefathers and overlapped with the inter textual and the popular images. 'Abakans' that is our world and inner-self at the same time might be a window through which she tries to show what the world is.

지역이미지 향상을 통한 지역 활성화 전략으로서 경쟁력 있는 세계적 축제로 발돋움하기 위한 지자체와 축제간의 경쟁은 심화되어가고 있으며 각 지자체는 경쟁적으로 축제와 상징물을 양산해오고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 차별화 된 축제 이미지를 소비자에게 전달할 수 있는 효율적인 커뮤니케이션을 하여 독창적인 지역문화형성에 기여할 수 있는 캐릭터에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 캐릭터를 축제에 대한 상징적 기호 표현활동이라고 볼 때, 기호학은 직관이나 아이디어에 의존하던 캐릭터 창작과는 구별되는 논리적인 틀을 제공해 줄 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 캐릭터의 커뮤니케이션 효율성 제고를 위하여 캐릭터를 기호학적으로 분석하고 캐릭터 컨셉, 축제 개최취지, 지역문화의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 소비자 이미지 실증분석 결과, 캐릭터의 기호학적인 해석 요소가 지역문화 형성에 미치는 영향은 캐릭터에 반영된 각 지역문화 특성과 캐릭터 컨셉의 기표에 따라 각각 다른 요인에 영향을 미치고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며 실증분석 결과를 바탕으로 소비자에게 의미공유 될 수 있는 캐릭터 제작의 가이드라인을 제시하였다.
