The present study develops the given theme “Mathematics and Reality” along two lines. First, we explore the answers, in its various facets, to the following question: How is it possible that mathematics shows such wondrous efficiency when explaining nature\ulcorner In addition to a comparative analysis between empiricism and rationalism, constructivism as a function of idealism is compared with realism within the frame provided by rationalism. The second step involves limiting our discussion to realism. We attempt to explain the various stages of mathematical realism and their points of difficulty. Postulate of parallels, Godel's theorem, continuum hypothesis and choice axiom are typical examples used in demonstrating undecidable propositions. They clearly show that it is necessary to mitigate the mathematical realism which depends on bivalent logic based on an objective exterior world. Lowenheim-Skolem theorem, which states that reality is composed not of one block but rather of diverse domains, also reinforces this line of thought. As we can see the existence of undecidable propositions requires limiting the use of reductio ad absurdum proof which depends on the concept of excluded middle. Consequently, it becomes obvious that bivalent logic must inevitably cede to a trivalent logic since there are three values involved: true, false, and undecidable.

This paper compares a cross-cultural and gender differences and similarities about consumer ethical perceptions and behaviors, and ethical ideologies between Korean and the US college students. It also examines the relationships between consumers' ethical perceptions and behaviors, and the relationships between consumer ethics and ethical ideologies. This research provides some evidence that supports the premise that consumer ethics is influenced to an extent by consumers' nationality and gender. The differences are not universal, however, and could perhaps be described as situational. The American college consumers were found to be more idealistic and relativistic than the Korean college consumers. But the differences were minor The American male college consumers were found to be more idealistic than the American female college consumers. The ethical consumer groups were found to be more idealistic and less relativistic than were the unethical consumer groups. Perceptions were positively related to behaviors in the consumer ethics. But the magnitude of impacts is different between the nations and in the dimensions of consumer ethics.

It is thought that Kim Hong-kyeong followed the existing theory of Meridian(經絡) and supplemented his unique perspectives in interpreting it. And he tried to relate Meridian with hygiene of mind. I took up with the research on the assumption that the review of Kim's method can present new perspectives to the study of relationship between Meridian and hygiene of mind. The results of my study are as follows: 1. Kim followed common theory of Meridian and then added his unique perspectives to it. His method of interpretation has one characteristic. By introducing Idealism(唯心論), he understood 'Meridian' as the path of the mind and the emotion. Especially I think his hypothesis that acupuncture can be widely used in mental diseases as well as body related diseases and its applications to treatment are very valuable. 2. Meridian and hygiene of mind are close together. I think Kim's unique trial is something new in studying relationship between Meridian and hygiene of mind but requires more research on it.

The purpose of this paper is to review and analyse the influence of Hegel on architectural historiography. With the point of view that Hegel is the origin of architectural history, this study try to find out how Hegel's philosophy and aesthetics deeply influenced the principle and method of architectural historiography. As a kind of meta-history Hegel's idealism played a important role in the interpretation of architecture and its historiography. We can call it Hegelian legacy and it gave a determinant idea in the discours of architecture, especially Modernism. With a critical view point this study tries to reveal the mythical character of the premise and hypothesis of Hegel's historicism and also reviews its positive aspects in the history of writing architectural history. Today Hegelian thinking in architectural historiography is seriously criticized and considered as a old way of writing history. But this study tries to find a possibility to recognize the contemporary architectural situation with Hegel's concept of universal history. The return of Hegel necessarily does not mean the idea of totality and universality in practice as like in Modernism, but to widen the recognition in contemporary practice and historiography.

Purpose: This study was designed to identify the degree of self-image and social support among Korean-Chinese adolescents and investigate the relationship between these variables. Method: A total of 621 Korean-Chinese adolescents in five middle schools in YanBian, China were recruited from March 1st to the 9th, 2005. Data was analysed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, t-test, and ANOVA with the SPSS 11.5 program. Result: In Korean-Chinese adolescents, the total self-image score was statistically different for age, parents' education status, parents' job and living with parents. In the 12 subscales, scoresof emotional tone, impulse control, sexuality, social functioning, vocational attitudes and self-reliance had significant differences between groups regarding gender. The total self-image was in the average range. However, areas of mental health and family function were lower than average and the scale of idealism washigher than average. The adolescents perceived parent's support was higher then friend's support. There was a positive correlation between self-image and social support. Conclusion: The findings suggest there is a need to examine self-image and social support of Korean- Chinese adolescents according to their parents' marital status and a need to develop a program to help these broken family's adolescents.

This article examines the historical view of Benito $P{\acute{e}}rez$ $Gald{\acute{o}}s$ in his historical novel named "Zaragoza" and "$C{\acute{a}}novas$" by comparing with Numancia of Cervantes. In front of the national survival crisis, $Gald{\acute{o}}s$ recognizes that it is necessary that Spain should recover humanity and morality on basis of the krausist ideal. The krausists warned subjective idealism, stressing on free-will and moral conscience in a harmonious balance of rationality. Without refusing patriotism, they warned egoistic patriotism deformed by national selfishness or nationalism. Giner de los Ríos insisted on a necessity of harmonizing national inclination and universal one. $Gald{\acute{o}}s$ emphasizes that the identity of Spain is not possession of privileged class but sweat and tears of the mass of people in daily life. He represents Efemera as the ideal history on the basis of Unamuno's 'intrahistoria', by which, instead of $Luk{\acute{a}}cs^{\prime}$ progressive history, we can peep into a historical poetics of human free nature and vividness of discontinuous and endless shifting. According to the sub-history, we come to the conclusion that $Gald{\acute{o}}s$ and Cervantes would lay emphasis on sub-history, aiming to essence of Spanish soul originated from national landscape and people's daily life.

Norman Mailer is one of the American writers who dramatize sensual pleasure in order to show how American idealism ends up being trapped and corrupted. The most remarkable cases are the tragic heroes of Scott Fitzgerald and the tough characters of Ernest Hemingway; while the former describes the victim of sensual pleasure, the latter brings the sensuality out from the darkness into 'the clean and well-lighted place.' In one of his most successful experimental fiction writings called 'New Journalism,' Mailer portrays the battle between the liberal left and the conservative right in the demonstration of 1967. Mailer achieves two things in this new technique. First, he demystifies the traditional epistemology grounded in the neutral and transparent narration and suggests that every narration can not escape mediation by a narrator. Secondly, he demonstrates that there is no clear distinction between good and bad. Rather, Good is nothing but a disguised form of Evil, and God is feasible only through the courageous action borrowed from Evil. In this technological world, devil is more powerful and attractive than God. This paper assumes the materiality of courage and focuses on the phenomenology of war carried out not from soul but from body, not from the consciousness but from the materiality.

행동 이미지와 감화 이미지 사이에 충동 이미지가 있다. 행동 이미지의 미학이 리얼리즘이라면 감화 이미지는 관념주의이고, 충동 이미지는 자연주의이다. 감화 이미지는 무규정 공간 속 인간들의 정서들 쌍에서 발생하고, 행동 이미지는 밀리우에서의 인간들의 행동 양식들 쌍에서 발전된다면, 충동 이미지는 원초적 세계 인간들의 기초적인 충동들에서 나온다. 충동 이미지가 행동 이미지와 감화 이미지의 속성을 모두 지녀서, 자연주의는 원초적 세계/ 파생된 밀리우, 충동/ 행동양식의 4개의 좌표에 걸쳐져 있다. 들뢰즈는 영화에서 자연주의 감독으로 에리히 본 슈트로하임, 루이스 브뉴엘, 조셉 로지를 들고 있다. 브뉴엘 영화는 초현실주의, 에로티시즘, 관음증, 페티쉬, 곤충과 동물 이미지 사용, 카톨릭에 대한 무신론적 태도, 이미지의 반복과 반복적 내러티브, 비선형 내러티브의 구축을 특징으로 하고 있다.

Objectives: This study was conducted to investigate the effect of professional self-concept and ethical awareness of dental hygiene (department) students attending a university located in Gwangju and Jeollanam-do on patients' willingness to protect personal information. Methods: Professional self-concept, ethical disposition, and patients' personal information protection intention according to general characteristics were analyzed using t-tests and one-way ANOVA. After confirming the correlation through Pearson's correlation analysis, the effect on the patient's personal information protection intention was confirmed using multiple regression analysis. Results: Professional self-concept, ethical disposition, and the patients' willingness to protect personal information all showed positive correlations. The higher the communication skills of professional self-concept and the higher the idealism of ethical orientation, the higher the patients' willingness to protect personal information. Conclusions: This study, ascertained the effect of dental hygiene students' professional self-concept and ethical consciousness on patients' personal information protection practices. The results suggest that it is necessary to develop an educational program that can enhance the practice of dental hygienists to protect patients' personal information, and to develop and conduct continuous policy development and research.

본 논문에서는 국제통상 협상에서 마키아밸리즘, 이상주의, 기회주의 등의 개인적 특성과 법률시스템, 조직의 목표 등 환경적 요인 등이 비윤리적 협상행위에 대한 결정요인으로서 영향을 미치는지에 대한 여부를 실증분석 하였다. 분석결과에 의하면 마키아밸리즘과 이상주의는 부적절한 정보수집과 같은 비윤리적 협상전략과 관련이 있는 반면에 기회주의는 영향이 없는 것으로 확인되었으며, 엄격한 법집행이 전제되지 않은 현행 법률 시스템 하에서는 비윤리적 협상전술을 사용하려는 의도가 높게 나타났으나, 조직의 목표 달성을 위해 비윤리적 협상전술 사용하려는 의도를 낮게 나타난 것이 특징이다. 따라서 국제 협상시 상대방의 비윤리적 협상전술 사용을 억제하고 비윤리적 협상위험을 줄이기 위해서는 상대방 국가 협상자의 협상행위 특징을 파악하고, 양쪽 문화에 익숙한 협상 자문사를 고용하는 것이 보다 안전한 협상이득을 얻을 수 있는 방안이라 사료된다.
