The purpose of this study was to design the ideal student uniform for improving the university image which is related to ideal PR (Public Relations). The results of this study were as follows: Firstly, as for the matter of UIP(University Identity Program), the uniform must transfer the university image. Using the UIP symbol color, the uniform is harmonious with university environment, and should be properly expressed visual image of the university. Secondly, the symbol which expressed the tradition and the spirit of the university was the very important factor to transfer its unique university identity and image of the university in the uniform design. The symbol which comes from the character or textile prints of the university symbolic flower or animals should transfer the consistent and unique design of university identity. Thirdly, the uniform has to be designed considering of the fashion trend as well as the essential factors for the uniform, considering such as functional, beautiful, symbolic aspects. In designing the uniform, fashion trend should be considered to combine the students and the uniform users to be one. As mentioned above, the uniform design which is suggested on this study should be helpful for the improvement of the university status and the reinforcement of the university PR.

The Olin Library in St. Louis was an important design competition for the United States in the 1950's, the rear of America's modern architecture. The participants of this competition were a variety of representative architects and groups of its time. With the library's functional rationality, the Olin Library competition was legible of the aspects of modern architectural flow. The competition required two demands. The first demand was absolute importance in character definition of place, which was to satisfy the site conditions approached from campus design. Secondly was related to interpretation of morphological symbolism in an architectural matter. The experiments of American modern architecture started to change its ideal goal gradually ; accommodating the altering public's code, at the same time, maintaining the original modern value was the reason to changing the ideal goal. As a turning point, the Olin Library should be understood as an important work, which divulged the value change of architectural interpretation.

When we put a construction on the space organization form of Seyeon-jong garden through a consequence of drawing analysis, we were able to certify that a certain space construction principle was applied as following. First, the arrangement and organization of space construction element embodied systematic order y clearing the character of space, and heightening the degree of cognizance with the means of functionability, scale, height, decorationability, an inclination of artificiality and nature, systemetic approchability. Second, the space construction element of Seyeon-jong garden pursued a harmony of human work and nature for creating a various atmosphere and visual quality. Third, Seyeon-jong garden constructed the space by establishing the measurement of human scale that introduced a conception of near, middle, distant view on the visual angle. Forth, Yun go san introduced the natural shape of 'The song of five friends' as a construction element, and represented the symbolism that he had seeked for throught he arrangement method, christening, composing technique of the space construction element for expressing ideal space which is described in 'The four season song of fishermen' spatially at Seyeon-jong garden. As the results of this study, that Yun go san created his own ideal space that he longed for at Seyeon-jong garden with applying fixed design system, and he realized his will that he strived to form a complete whole in perfect harmony.

Religious Though includes desirable attitudes towards existence of human beings and the value of life. These can be considered as the viewpoint of human being in religions. Also, the recognition frame of human being should be focused on the desirable human formation. That is, human being should not be viewed by already established frames, but human beings should be regarded as the ones that by themselves can build their true figures through developing human nature with the self-awareness of existence and the effort for establishing an ideal character. Without the correct concept of a 'human model', it is impossible to shed light on what the process of the human formation is and how the human formation willbe established. A 'human model', that is the goal of such a formation, might show different aspects if considering the historical situations including the circumstance of individuals and society. However, no matter how different 'human model', which are dependent upon phenomenal problems, are considered, it might most likely fails to grasp a fundamental issue without a 'human model' based on the essential problem of human being. In this regards, it can be considered that a 'Perfect person' with including both fundamental ways and relations of existence is the one enabling to establish a true 'human model' and, I try to show its striking example, 'Injon' that is an ideal 'human model' of Daesoon Thought. Therefore, this paper will show the interpretation and understanding of human beings in Daesoon Thought, and examine what their meanings are.

This study aims to make a comparison between variables influencing female college students' body shame and appearance change intention in individualist culture(Germany) and collectivist culture(Korea, China), that which variable among individual's physical character(BMI), psychological character(public self-image), and sociocultural pressure has the biggest influence in each culture. The findings of the research are as follows. 1. The German group of female college students had the highest BMI, and there were no difference between Korean and Chinese group. Public self-consciousness, sociocultural pressure, ideal appearance attitude, body shame, and appearance change intention were highest in Korea and lowest in Germany. 2. The variables that affected body shame were powerful in the order of sociocultural pressure, appearance internalization, BMI, and appearance awareness in the Korean group of female college students. In the Chinese group, the order was sociocultural pressure, appearance internalization, and public self-consciousness. On the contrary, in the German group the order was appearance internalization, appearance awareness, sociocultural pressure, and public self-consciousness. 3. The variables that affected appearance change intention were powerful in the order of sociocultural pressure, body shame, and appearance awareness in the Korean group of female college students. In the Chinese group, the order was sociocultural pressure, body shame, and appearance awareness, and in the German group, the order was appearance internalization, body shame, and BMI.

Hybrid trend of the 21st century is an important basis to express fashion Alexander McQueen is a representative designer of Hybrid trend which combines heterogeneous elements into oneconcept. Accordingly, this study distributed and analyzed Hybrid trend which was in Alexander McQueen's work like below. First, there was a racial Hybrid trend which combined different local culture in shared space of the world in his fashion work and he challenged to Westernized ideal beauty with new recognition and knowledge about beside countries of Western Europe which were considered as not important culture due to perceiving relative value of a pluralist society and created new way aesthetic consciousness. Second, he expressed a historical character of a combination of tradition and modern by his fashion work based on wide historical knowledge of a dress. He created a new line in contrast to the past with a perfect design through combination of the style from the tradition with the parody and displayed his own design world. Third, he treated instability and disorder from the interior essential dissolution, thus he had a cultural character which broke down the boundary of cultural genre and style. This attitude showed transformation of constructivism and deconstruction view, secession and distortion, mixture, duplication, secession and insert by his fashion work.

A traditional settlement, in a long history establishment, is appeared to be configured of the people and their life in the areas. This is, a positive aspects, compared to most of the city in these day which is monotonous aspects. The purpose of this research deals what is the formation process and spatial character in urban settlement of Naju city, and how to applicate in a modern city context. For the research goals, it analyse an old Naju Castle area, transformation of the land use through the cadastral survey, and spatial character through step by step in chronical approach. The process of change can be seen in the devide pattern in a lot, formation and extension of a private road, and formation and change of the road; This shows how to changes traditional settlement in a old urban areas of Naju city. A now road system in old area, as a conflict, push the change of the spatial organization, and the balance of the identity of a traditional settlement and a new change as a convenient needs, it is a key point to get ideal settlement.

The purpose of this study is to come up with a perspective that can enhance the understanding about the mechanism of fashion change. The starting idea of this study is that fashion has changed according to the ideal body image of the specific society or individual. The theoretical framework about the ideal body image has been studied by the literatures on the subject and it is verified by the analysis of John Galliano & Martin Margiela's fashion works. The results are as follows. First, Galliano exposes the woman's body as a sexual symbol which is articulated by men's eyes. Margiela describes the woman's body as human being which doesn't highlight any sexual characteristics. Second, Galliano emphasizes the body conscious silhouette whereas Margiela perceives the body as a whole, rather than looks into each body part. Third, Galliano uses lots of decoration to make display luxurious. Margiela restrains himself from using decorations and tries to create images by interaction between the clothes and bodies. Forth, Galliano expresses the eroticism by accentuating eyes and lips with strong color cosmetics. Margiela's fashion is not dazzling with makeup. He even covers the face with fabrics. Aesthetics in all societies is articulated by their hidden social power groups, and then it has influence on taking shape of the ideal body image and the mainstream of fashion. But the innate characters of individuals offer challenges to the fashion majority. The tension between the social power and individual character makes and changes the fashion.

중요 디지털콘텐츠 산업의 하나인 애니메이션 산업의 경우, 작품을 근간으로 하는 다양한 파생 콘텐츠를 양산, 관련 콘텐츠산업의 동반성장과 콘텐츠시장의 확장을 도모할 수 있는 잠재적 역량을 내재하고 있다는 점에서 그 중요성과 발전의 가능성이 높은 분야라고 할 수 있다. 특히 국내 유아동 TV 애니메이션의 경우, 디지털콘텐츠의 핵심 기능인 오락적 가치에 교육적 가치를 더함으로서 에듀테인먼트(edutainment)라는 융합형 콘텐츠로서, 대중적 인지도를 향상시킴과 동시에 대내외 경쟁력을 확보, 국내 애니메이션 산업 성장의 중추적 역할을 담당하고 있다. 본 연구는 조형요소로서 인체비례론이 가지는 이론적 중요성을 근간으로, 현재 EBS에서 방영중인 작품들의 캐릭터들을 대상으로 세분화된 비율을 측정, 그 결과를 분류, 분석하는 연구방법을 통하여, 현재 선호하는 유아동 애니메이션 캐릭터의 등신비율에 대한 현황파악과 함께, 캐릭터 개발에 실질적 활용과 적용이 가능한 디자인 창작지표를 제시하는 것에 연구의 목적과 의의가 있다.

애니메이션은 작가의 의식을 표현하는 도구로서 공간과 공간을 통해 시간으로 전환하는 매체이다. 애니메이션의 구성요소에서 이미지는 가장 본질적 요소이며, 이미지 중 캐릭터는 가장 핵심적 기능을 가진 이미지요소이다. 왜냐하면 캐릭터는 다양한 동작과 표정을 통해 이야기를 전달하는 형상체이기 때문이다. 이러한 맥락에서 볼 때 <동물농장>은 조지오웰의 원작을 바탕으로 계급화 된 불평등의 인간사회와 여기에서 벌어지는 인간의 이기심과 부조리를 풍자적인 캐릭터를 중심으로 그려낸 대표적인 풍자애니메이션이다. 따라서 이번연구에서는 이 작품에서 설정된 인물과 동물들 그리고 공간이 지니고 있는 의미와 상징을 통해 무엇을 풍자했는지를 연구해 보고자하였다. 연구결과 작품에서 등장하는 캐릭터들은 단순한 인물이나 장소가 아니라 각각의 의미를 내포하고 있는 은유적 상징체임을 보여준다. 다시 말해 농장은 인간세상을 상징하는 공간으로써 인간인 존은 러시아 절대왕정의 민중을 억압하는 독재자로, 돼지인 올드 메이저는 혁명의 당위성을 설파하는 원로 선각자로, 메이저를 따르던 돼지 스노볼은 혁명을 성공시키고 만민이 평등한 참 사회주의를 건설하려는 순수한 지도자로, 또 다른 돼지인 나폴레옹은 개인적인 야욕을 위해 스노볼을 제거하고 동족인 동물들을 억압하고 착취하는 인간보다 더한 탐욕적인 독재자로 묘사하였다. 즉 인간과 다양한 동물들을 지배와 피지배의 계급관계로 설정하여 갈등을 양산하고 혁명을 통해 이상사회를 지향하지만 이는 또 다시 혁명을 예고하는 인간역사의 반복적 모순을 상징적이면서도 강렬하게 전달하고 있었다.
