This study explored the concept of context-aware computing and its application to the library and information services. Context-aware computing represents mobile computing techniques which gather, analyze user's contextual information and provide appropriate information services for the specific user. The idea was proposed in the late 90's but it was not widely available to the public because of the technology limitation. Recent technology development made context-aware computing possible to apply to our everyday-life information seeking using smart phone and showed the usefulness of its application. This study introduced the concept of context-aware computing with some examples of it, and finally tried to propose some of its applications to the library and information services.

In this article, I have reviewed the definition of international mercantile customs, their preferential application, the developing status of the credit practice, the effectiveness and relationship of the international standard banking practices, e.g. UCP 600 and ISBP 2007, ISP98, URR 725, eUCP 1.1. and the like, established by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). It is important to emphasize that the autonomous agreements between the credit parties and the international practice on the credit transaction are respected above all because of the special nature of its transaction. When we want to apply to a letter of credit by the international rules - UCP 600, ISP98, URDG, URR 725 and eUCP 1.1, we must indicate expressly in the text of the credit that it is subject to the respective rule. But the International Standard Banking Practice, 2007 revised by the ICC is applicable to without its indication in case of the UCP 600 credit. On the other hand, the UN Convention on Guarantees and Standby Credits applies to an international undertaking referred to in its article 2, (a) if the guarantor/issuer is in a Contracting State, or (b) if the rules of private international law lead to the application of the law of a Contracting State, unless the undertaking excludes the application of the Convention. And this Convention applies also to an international credit not falling within its article 2, if it expressly states that it is subject to this Convention.

This study is the empirical research about application and evaluation of AVI that is an essential technology for calculating and providing the travel time. Travel time calculation and provision is one of the technique for information collecting and providing in the ITS. Through the field test on a national highway, we proposed the travel time calculation technique from the data by non-contact vehicle detecting method and validated field application performance with field data. We proposed the technique of evaluating field application performance, then using this, analyzed recognition rate, detection rate and travel time with field data.

Indonesia has the largest potential mobile payment (m-payment) market in Southeast Asia. The government has realised this through Government's National Non-Cash Movement to increase its adoption. This is then followed up by advocating its adoption massively. However, for this movement to be a success, ensuring its continued use is critical. Various studies have attempted to contribute to this issue. Incorporating game elements into the application that brings benefits and satisfaction to its user is envisaged as one of the most feasible ways. This study, therefore, sets out to investigate the effects of gamification on the m-payment application, which drive the intention to continued use by employing the Uses dan Gratification Theory (UGT). A total of 826 m-payment users were gathered to be analysed using Structural Equation Modelling. The results show that utilitarian, hedonic and social gratifications have significant effects on the continuance usage intention of m-payment. Theoretically, this study contributes to the literature by showing that gamification applied in the payment significantly affects the m-payment continuance usage intention. Practically, this research informs the m-payment providers to maintain the gamification elements in their applications to ensure their sustainable use. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.

본 논문에서는 광학센서와 적외선 센서를 사용하는 Multi-sensor 시스템에서 영상 정보를 통한 물체의 추적 및 인식에 필요한 영상을 분리하는데 필요한 전처리와 object 기반의 추적 방법을 제안하였다. 일반적인 추적 알고리즘의 목표는 consistency를 유지하는데 있다. 그러나 인식에 필요한 영상을 분리하기 위해서는 물체의 범위를 정확히 판단 할 수 있는 능력이 중요하다. 이를 위해 CCD와 IR영상에 동시에 적용 가능한 전처리 기법과 object 기반의 two-step 추적 알고리즘을 통해 consistency외에도, 물체의 범위를 estimation하여 인식에 필요한 범위를 분리해 낸다. 본 논문에서는 ITS 의 ETCS application을 위해 이종 센서인 CCD와 IR의 야간 차량 영상정보를 이용하여 알고리즘을 test 하였다.

Consumers require various quality characteristics including safety. The reduction of risk concerned on product safety becomes an urgent issue in leading companies. The strategy for customer satisfaction by choosing attractive quality characteristic is not enough for risk reduction in view of producer. This paper presents a method for choosing quality characteristics and risk characteristics by integrating QFD based on quality requirements and AHP based on safety requirements, also shows its application for complex equipment.

Roller compacted concrete(RCC) has been attracted due to its growing application to pavement concrete construction. In this study optimum mixing formation of RCC was explored and characterized its properties forcusing on reducing try and error for actual application to construction of pavement. The concrete used for roller compacted concrete pavement (RCCP) has very low water content per unit volume, so that it develops early high strength. This high early strength development makes pavement constructed open early. This concrete also showed very reduced crack formed on the surface because of expensive cement.

We consider an M/M/2 queue with two servers placed in series. System performance measures that we present in closed expressions are the first and the second moments for the system size, the queue walting time and the sojourn time. We also present an algorithm for computing the queue waiting time distribution function based on the randomization method. As an application, we analyze the double tollbooth system and compare its performance with the conventional single tollbooth system's.

Rattan has found various engineering application, especially in furniture industry, however its potential engineering application has not been fully realized because of lack of information of its mechanical properties . It is therefore the objective of this paper is to report some of the recent research work conducted to investigate some of mechanical properties of rattan. The principal tests performed were compression strength parallel to grain in green and dry conditions.

This paper deals with an inexpensive, simple and fast Langmuir probe sweeping circuit and its application. This sweeper completes a probe trace in a 1 ms order. Futhermore, the circuit drives a maximum probe voltage of $\pm$30V and has a maximum probe current capability of a few amperes. The plasma parameters are successfully determined using the fast Langmuir probe method.
