  • 본 논문은 건설교통부의 국도 ITS에 도로변의 현장설비와 센터간 교통정보 수집체계에 전력선통신(Power Line Communication, PLC)망 적용에 관한 연구이다. 지능형교통시스템(Intelligent Transport System, ITS)에서 사용하고 있는 기존의 유 무선 통신망과 PLC망과의 통신 용량 및 속도, 구축 및 운영비용, 데이터 신뢰성 등을 비교하여 적용 가능성을 분석하였다.

  • The era of intelligent transportation system(ITS) has been arrived by applying information and communication technology(ICT) to the traffic. One of these technological advances is a wireless communication technology for a high speed vehicle to be connected to an infrastructure(V2I). A variety of road traffic safety services and operator comfort services are being developed by means of WAVE(Wireless Access in a Vehicular Environment) based on IEEE802.11p Standard. In this paper, the link budget is analyzed to provide a reliable quality of these ITS services. Log-distance model and two-ray model is employed for the wave propagation path loss model which is adequate for a highway environment. Reliable cell coverage is suggested for ITS services from the link budget.

  • Throughout the world in major urban centers, the volume of vehicular traffic on roads continues to increase. ITS provides drivers with traffic information and new routing options on route In order to make them move quickly to their destinations. The higher mobility, the more productivity we gain. The ultimate goal of Intelligent Transport System is to improve mobility. ITS world is broad and quite varied, as demonstrated by ITS user services, their distinct needs, and complex Interactions and synergies. ITS ties the transportation and telecommunication worlds together. The complex world of telecommunications is evolving and expanding rapidly. Especially over the last two decades, the birth and unprecedented growth of wireless is really marvelous and further holds tremendous promise into the future. This wireless and emerging technologies will offer extensive opportunities to handle many ITS user services, and alter many of the traditional paradigms of transportation.

  • The automatic speed enforcement system is expected to play an important role as intelligent transport system (ITS) or advanced franc management system (ATMS). It must be a reliable system checking the overspeedy vehicles automatically, while savine the police manpower and ensuring a safe traffic flow. In terms of traffic engineering, the automatic speed enforcement system may serve to improve driver's violent behaviors, facilitate the smooth and safe traffic flow and thereby, reduce the traffic accident. This study was aimed at analyzing the accident before and after installation of the automatic speed enforcement systems at the frequency, EPDO(equivalent property damage only) and accident cost, analyzing the effects of the automatic system on the traffic flow and accident. As a result, when we equip the automatic speed enforcement system on the downward slope section or after middle section comparing with whole section. We should consider the location of automatic speed enforcement system.

  • The purpose of this study is to present the role of NGIS(National Geographic Information System) and the development strategy for Business GIS in the ubiquitous society. We analyze the level of GIS technology with the ICT(Information Communication Technology) as well as GIS application trends especially in location-based circumstances. Also, we advocate not only making GIS contents to meet the international standards such as GML(Geography Markup Language) and TPEG(Transport Protocol Experts Group) but applying GIS as a killer application to oncoming diverse ICT areas including LBS(Location -Based Service), Telematics, ITS(Intelligent Transport System), gCRM(geographic Customer Relationship Management), DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting), u(ubiquitous)-City and u-Town. Finally, we build a conceptual Business GIS model based on NGIS for QoS, standardization, R&D, education, and security.

  • In this paper, the structure of the Aladdin system was modeled by Petri nets for performance evaluation of 40G bps class Aladdin system which was developed in ETRI as the high-speed DDoS defensive tool. The efficiency analysis of the system architecture according to the input traffic of the Aladdin system was performed based on the modeling.

  • Since Intelligent Transport Systems(ITS) is a complex project combining technology and system of transportation, information and communication and civil engineer, it needs a specialized management activities. However, it is difficult to judge who has responsibility for a shoddy and fault construction since the role between project management and supervision is very ambiguous. The aim of this study is propose an efficient project management and supervision for ITS reflecting the characteristics of ITS. Therefore, we suggest a statistical models using nonlinear regression model to prepare the project management and supervision compensation criteria, hence, we choose the realistic and validation statistical model.

  • A flying drone generates vibrations in a great variety of frequencies, and it requires a gimbal system stabilization loop design in order to obtain clean and accurate image from the camera attached to the drone under this environment. The gimbal system for drone comprises the structure that supports the camera module and the stabilization loop which follows the precise angle while blocking the vibration from outside. This study developed a dynamic model for one axis for the stabilization loop design of a gimbal system for drones and applied classical PID controller and intelligent PID controller. The Stabilization loop design was developed by using MATLAB/Simulink and compared the performance of each controller through simulation. Especially, the intelligent PID controller can be designed almost without the dynamic model and it demonstrates that the angle can be followed without readjusting the parameters of the controller even when the characteristics of the model changes.

  • This paper describes the design of RF link between RSE and OBU of ETCS and the analysis of the antenna beam pattern to get a proper communication area in the cross direction and traveling direction of lanes. This stage should be performed prior to determination of system requirements of ITS service based on active DSRC. This study is important and fundamental technical analysis to design and implement base station of ETCS.
