The changing trend of longevity from 1955 through 1985 and its interprovincal variation were studied with longevity rate as indicator. In order to detect the affecting factors of longevity rate, eleven urbanalizational, geographic-environmental, demographic and social-economic variables were employed to carry out multiple stepwise regression analysis. The data used for this study were from Population Census Reports 1955-1985 published by EPB and Year book of Public Health and Social Statistics 1986 published by Ministry of Health and Social Affairs and other reference. Subsequent to that longevity rate decreased during 1950's it has increased continuously by the yeat of 1980's. This trend was especially remarkable in the south area and the GIRI mountain area in Korea. The stepwise regression analysis shows that the longevity rates were significantly associated with the independent variables, and the dependent variables explained at the level of 93.7percent-99.9 percent. Longevity is a reflection of the demographic and socio-economic, environmental and health resourses factor etc., longevity problems cannot be dealt with in isolation. The possible research and services which could be provided by government will be discuss.

This study aims to inquire into the expressive characters of philippe stark's works regarding his design concept. This study examines Philippe stark's design works except for furniture design. It also looks into the modern design trend, France design trend, background of his growth and people who have influenced him. Firstly, this study examines Philippe stark's five design works after 1997. Second, the study is going to analysis the fact between his interior design and furniture projects to read their mutual relation. As a result from this study, first, the understanding of Philippe stark's works in harmony with the dynamics of technology and aesthetics can provide his design languages, characteristics and current design trend. Second, Philippe stark can create unfamiliar space through experimental though and imagination. The study present data on Philippe stark and puts forwards the significance of his works and tries to lead the way of the relation interior design and furniture.

A typical industrial data - monitoring scheme often requires trend detection Trend detection can be accomplished in many ways. Common statistical methods are the sign test, the run test, and the trend test. Graphical methods include various smoothing schemes and the cusum. The cusum has established itself as an efficient method of detecting changes in the mean level of a process being monitored. The cusum requires a "target value" with which the raw data are compared. At production start - up it is often difficult to designate the target value. This paper offers a means of initiating the cusum technique without a target value.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the recent trend color of bathroom based on analysis result of digital color image processing, to analyze the emotional color of that, and to suggest the harmony color combination for the bathroom. It leads to the two final results. That is, the main color of bathroom image is recognized as three color classifications such as YR-Y, Y-GY, PB-P, 2) from the point of emotional aspect, the trend color of the bathroom can be classified into four image categories: 'modern', 'mild', 'elegant', 'natural'. Finally, under these categories, this paper propose 12 color harmony schema which can be applied to color in, especially bathroom Interior design.

Many scientists today say that converged technologies, not specifically dedicated technologies, will be in the vanguard in the $21^{st}$ century. Technological Convergence is the merging of different areas of technology to perform similar tasks. Since we are living in the era of Technological Convergence, it is time for us to think about how to cope with the daily demands we are facing in science parks. Technological Convergence is a mega trend in commercial areas today but, so far, no science parks seem to have tried to reshape their management policies or programs in order to utilize this trend. For the development of science parks we suggest some tasks such as: identify potentials for Technological Convergence, establish a convergent ecosystem by building connections across stove-piped systems, effect a technological convergence platform, and conduct further research for strengthening plans for converging technologies.

In this paper, the development trend of Army force power in Korea is observed and analyzed. It can be checked that unmanned technology has been actively researched and many diverse defense Acquisition system are under development in Future Combat System. Some of such examples are enough worth to be benchmarked for Korea's related research and development activities for future unmanned combat systems. The result of survey and analysis on development trend on Army force power the further establishment of domestic technology research direction as well as viable benchmarks for the future unmanned combat systems.

It is a main trend not to use organic solvents in the adhesive industry from the recent environmental and safe points of view. For example, water-based, hot-melt, or UV curable adhesives are being investigated. Several different kinds of tackifiers that are formulated in the adhesives in order to give them more functional properties like initial tack and higher adhesion, etc., have been proposed to meet the recent trend. Firstly, the characteristics and fundamental properties of the respective materials are presented. In Japan, the trend to develop the water-based adhesives is most remarkable. While the environmental regulations are getting harder, Arakawa Chemical has been spending a lot of energy for the research, and developed toluene-free and solvent free tackifier dispersions that are presented precisely.

As it was shown recently, climate changes in Antarctica resulted in interannual trends of some climatic parameters like sea level pressure, surface air temperature, ice thickness and others. These tendencies have effect on the Southern Ocean meteorological and hydrological regime. The following remote sensing data: AVHRR MCSST data, satellite altimetry data (merged data of mission ERS-2, TOPEX/Poseidon, Jason-1, ENVISAT, GFO-1) are used to analyse the interannual and/or climatic tendency of sea surface temperature (SST) and sea level anomaly (SLA). According to the obtained results, SST has negative trend $-0.02{\pm}0.003^{\circ}C/yr$ for 24-yr record (1982-2005) and SLA has positive trend $0.01{\pm}0.005$ cm/yr for 24-yr record (1982-2005) and $0.24{\pm}0.026$ cm/yr for 12-yr record (1993-2005). However in some areas (for example, Pacific-Antarctic Ridge) SST and SLA tendencies are stronger $-0.065{\pm}0.007^{\circ}C/yr$ and $-0.21{\pm}0.05$ cm/yr, respectively.
