Spectral Mixture Analysis for Desertification Detection in North-Eastern China

  • This paper was carried out desertification area change detection from 1980s to 2000s per unit decade using by multitemporal satellite images (Landsat MSS, TM, ETM+). This study aims to use Spectral Mixture Analysis (SMA) to identify and classify study area. Endmembers is selected bare soil, green vegetation (GV), water body using by Minimum Noise Fraction (MNF). Endmembers used to generate increase and decrease images respective from 1980s to 1990s and from 1990s to 2000s. From the analysis of multitemporal change detection for three periods, it was apparent that the area of bare soil increased significantly, with simultaneous decrease of GV and water body. The multitemporal fraction images can be effectively used for change detection. Though there is no field survey dataset, SMA is reliable result of change detection in desertification in China.

  • The major purpose of this study is to find level of financial management behavior and relation factors. In addition, It is also to suggest how to overcome family financial problems on urban housewives' in the time of economic crisis and to provide the fundamental data to improve economic stability. Consequently, in the times of economic crisis, housewives' change-oriented family finance management behavior appeared to be more desirable. Through change-oriented family finance management behavior, housewives needs try to find reasonable solution to improve family cohesion and financial stability. Specially, housewives have to make use of financial information for effective financial management behavior and the financial stability of family members.

  • Many domestic organizations are pushing ahead with small hydropower business to develop a renewable energy. In addition each organization gradually spreads small hydropower business with searching the best site for it. And KOWACO(Korea Waters Resources Corporation) answers a purpose of the government policy to spread the wide use of a renewable energy. This study explains the researching programs for the best development sites for small hydropower generation with using water pipes managed and controled by KOWACO.

기업 정보화 요인 변수의 연구 빈도에 관한 연구 : SER-M Framework을 중심으로 (A Study on the Frequency of the Enterprise Informatization Variables : Focused on SER-M Framework)

  • By reclassifying and reinterpreting the factor variables that were used in precedent studies on company informatization by research theme and perspective on them success factor, the present study tried to examine how different the factor variables are in frequency of use and by period, and how importantly they were considered by research theme and perspective on its success factor, combining them with the studies done on mechanism point of view. The key findings of this study are as follows. First, it was found that the frequency of using mechanism variables, which are reclassified based on SER-M perspective, has gradually increased since 1990s. While the frequency of using resource factors sharply increased in 1990s, it decreased from 2000s. It indicates that more studies were conducted of mechanism factors other than resource factors from the early 2000s. Second, when looking at those variables reclassified by research them, it was found that such theme as decision maker, environment, and resource factors were more used than other research themes in the studies on the measuring factors of informatization. Mechanism factors turned out most used among overall research themes. In particular, they were more frequently used in studies related to the performance of informatization. This result evidences that mechanism-related variables are more importantly considered in the studies than other factors. This study produces a practical implication: what factors companies have to manage and secure intensively to attain successful informatization. In addition, this study helps companies seeking informatization understand and take advantage of SER-M factors on the basis of knowledge in the transitional process of the factor variables used in studies by period. It is expected that CIO can use the key findings of this study in monitoring the factors by the stage of informatization.

예측 가능한 입출력 대역폭을 제공하는 서비스 기반의 디스크 입출력 제어 (Service based Disk I/O Control supporting Predictable I/O Bandwidth)

  • 최근 가상화와 클라우드 컴퓨팅 이슈가 대두되면서 서비스 품질과 성능 안정성을 보장하기 위한 대안으로서 시스템 자원 관리의 필요성이 부각되고 있으며, 디스크 입출력 자원은 오랜 기간 동안 심각한 성능 병목으로 인식되어 왔다. 다수의 서비스들이 입출력 자원에 대하여 경쟁 상태에 있는 경우, 낮은 중요도를 갖는 서비스 또는 프로세스들에 의하여 제한된 입출력 자원들이 점유되는 경우가 빈번하게 발생하며, 이는 중요 서비스의 품질 및 성능을 저하시키는 요인으로 작용한다. 또한, 특정 프로세스 또는 서비스가 사용할 수 있는 입출력 자원을 예측할 수 없는 경우에는 서비스의 성능 안정성 및 품질을 보장할 수 없으며 제한된 자원에 대한 효율적인 사용을 어렵게 만드는 문제점을 갖는다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 상기 문제점의 개선을 위하여 예측 가능한 입출력 대역폭을 제공하는 서비스 기반 디스크 입출력 제어 방식을 제안하며, 제안 방식은 서비스 기반의 예측 가능한 입출력 대역폭을 제공함으로써, 안정적인 서비스 품질 및 성능을 유지하도록 하며, 제한된 입출력 자원의 효율적인 사용을 가능하게 한다.

도시 수자원 리빙랩 적용사례 분석: 김해시 삼방워터 리빙랩을 중심으로 (Analysis of Application Cases of Living Lab for Urban Water Resources: Focusing on Sam-bang Water Living Lab)

  • With the recent spread of the concept of Smart Cities which is to solve urban problems with ICT technology, Living Lab, which identifies the demands of citizens who dwell in the city and verifies the acceptability of the services being introduced, has become an important topic. Living Lab is an open innovation platform introduced in consideration of the user's perspective in real life and is a new approach in that service developers use collective intelligence in the process of Co-creation with users. Living Lab is operated on topics which is close to citizens' daily lives such as energy, housing, transportation, and education. In particular, as energy and environmental-focused Living Lab emerges in accordance with the 'Korean New Deal Policy', interest and importance in the field are increasing. The paper derives the characteristics of water resource Living Lab through case analysis of several Living Lab practices. Water resource Living Lab in Daejeon and Chuncheon, which are located in Korea, and water resource Living Lab in Romania and Indonesia are covered in this paper as the reference. The paper finally analyzes the case of Sambang Water Living Lab in Gimhae, which is the city located in southern part of Korea. As a result of case analysis, the urban water resource Living Lab focuses on the raw water of urban water resource and should respond sensitively to the safety of citizens. And for the success of this urban water resource Living Lab, it is essential to ensure that citizens participating in the Living Lab clearly understand the concept of water resources, and citizens' opinions to be implemented as services.

  • In LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) networks, Relay nodes (RN) are used to improve the system coverage. However, it also brings new kind of interference to users which reduces the system performance. In this paper, we use an optimization relay node deployment to reduce the interference as much as possible and resource allocation to improve the user throughput. Our simulation results show our method is able to improve the user SINR and throughput.

  • 클라우드의 원하는 자원을 필요한 만큼만 사용하고 지불하는(Pay-per-use) 방식을 이용하여 과학 응용을 수행하고자 하는 과학자들이 늘어나는 추세이다. 그러나 다양한 특성으로 구성된 클라우드 자원으로 과학자들은 적절한 자원을 선택하는데 어려움을 겪는다. 이에 따라 자원의 효율적인 활용을 위하여 과학자가 실험하고자하는 응용의 특성에 따라 동적으로 자원을 분류하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 하이브리드 클라우드 환경에서 응용의 특성을 반영한 자원 군집 분석 기법을 제안한다. 자원 군집 분석은 자기조직화지도 및 K-평균 알고리즘을 적용하여 유사한 자원을 군집화한다. 제안한 알고리즘을 통해 과학응용의 특성을 반영한 유사 자원 군집을 형성하였음을 증명한다.

무선 이동 통신망에서의 멀티미디어 서비스를 위한 자원 제어 시스템 (Resource Management System for Multimedia Service in Wireless Mobile Networks)

  • 무선 이동 통신망을 통해 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공받기 위해 필요한 기술들 중에서 핸드오버 호에 대한 QoS 관리는 매우 중요한 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 2-레벨 핸드오버 제어 시스템을 제안한다. 2-레벨 핸드오버 제어 시스템은 자원 예약 기능과 호 수락 제어 기능을 구성된다. 자원 예약 기능은 Hard 자원 예약과 Soft 자원 예약 기능으로 구성된다. Hard 예약 자원은 핸드오버 호를 위해서만 사용되는 자원이며 Soft 예약 자원은 핸드오버 호와 신규 호를 위해 사용된다. 그리고 자윈 예약 기능은 핸드오버 호를 발생하는 경로와 발생 빈도의 정도에 따라 Primary 핸드오버 호와 Secondary 핸드오버 호로 구분하여 처리한다. 호 수락 제어 기능에서는 구분된 두 가지 핸드오프 호에 대한 처리를 각각 다르게 수행한다. 제안한 시스템의 성능 분석을 위해 시스템을 M/M/c/c 큐잉 모델을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과 기존의 시스템에 비해 QoS는 떨어지지 않고 무선 자원을 더 효율적으로 활용하는 것을 볼 수 있었다.

  • We proposed a study on optimal clock period selection algorithm for low power RTL design. The proposed algorithm use the way of maintaining the throughput by reducing supply voltage after improve the system performance in order to minimize the power consumption. In this paper, it select the low power to use pipeline in the transformation of architecture. Also, the algorithm is important the clock period selection in order to maximize the resource sharing. however, it execute the optimal clock period selection algorithm.
