Artificial intelligence (AI) has rapidly diffused across industries and societies as nations' essential strategic technology. In innovative technology, such as AI, a startup leads to technological innovation and significantly impacts the expansion of relevant industries. Thus, this study examined the trend of AI startup venture capital (VC) investments globally, focusing on ① noteworthy VC investment statuses (the number and size of the investment, company establishment, and corporate collection), ② the characteristics of each key nation's investments, and ③ the characteristics of each submarket's investments. Among the 11 countries, the results showed that Korea ranked near the bottom for absolute quantitative measures, including the number and size of investments, company establishment, and corporate collection. However, Korea has built a foundation of catching up with what AI-leading countries have established, considering Korea's high growth rate in the number and size of investments and a recent mega-round. This study has practical implications in that it determined the AI startup VC investment status of Korea's rival countries, not only G2 (US and China). The results can be used in policy-making. Furthermore, identifying the AI industry's submarkets and analyzing each market's VC investment status could be used to establish strategies for the AI industry and R&D.

The government has focused the national R&D investment on 6T areas - IT(Information Technology), BT(Bio Technology), NT(Nano Technology), ST(Space Technology), ET(Environment ${\cdot}$ Energy Technology), CT(Culture Technology). The paper summarizes patents and utility models in these areas which are applied in past decade. This study presents the relationship of the patent trends and the national R&D investment in 6T areas.

This study endeavors to enrich investment prospects in cryptocurrency by establishing a rationale for investment decisions. The primary objective involves evaluating the predictability of four prominent cryptocurrencies - Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and EOS - and scrutinizing the efficacy of trading strategies developed based on the prediction model. To identify the most effective prediction model for each cryptocurrency annually, we employed three methodologies - AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA), Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), and Prophet - representing traditional statistics and artificial intelligence. These methods were applied across diverse periods and time intervals. The result suggested that Prophet trained on the previous 28 days' price history at 15-minute intervals generally yielded the highest performance. The results were validated through a random selection of 100 days (20 target dates per year) spanning from January 1st, 2018, to December 31st, 2022. The trading strategies were formulated based on the optimal-performing prediction model, grounded in the simple principle of assigning greater weight to more predictable assets. When the forecasting model indicates an upward trend, it is recommended to acquire the cryptocurrency with the investment amount determined by its performance. Experimental results consistently demonstrated that the proposed trading strategy yields higher returns compared to an equal portfolio employing a buy-and-hold strategy. The cryptocurrency trading model introduced in this paper carries two significant implications. Firstly, it facilitates the evolution of cryptocurrencies from speculative assets to investment instruments. Secondly, it plays a crucial role in advancing deep learning-based investment strategies by providing sound evidence for portfolio allocation. This addresses the black box issue, a notable weakness in deep learning, offering increased transparency to the model.

The purpose of this study is to identify the trend of the contents of the plan that was implemented through contents analysis on the master plan project of rural village development projects that began in 2004. Contents analysis is based on the classification of business in the detailed enforcement regulations of rural village development project. Analysis on the project contents was conducted for 30 days from June 20 to July 20 for the 132 regions established in the master plan during the period from 2004 to 2007. The results of the analysis showed the following. First, scenery facilities, rural tourism, cultural welfare and income basis projects accounted for 76.5% of the total projects. Second, with regard to investment costs depending on the contents of the projects, cultural welfare, rural tourism and income basis projects accounted for 66.3% of the total investment costs. Third, it was found out that, with regard to the trend of change in the project contents by year, income basis projects were sharply reduced whereas cultural welfare and scenery facilities projects were increased. Finally, with regard to the analysis on the projects by region, it was found that Gangwon, Gyeonggi and Chungnam gave high weight on rural tourism, whereas Gyeongbuk, Jeonnam and Jeonbuk gave low weight on rural tourism. Particularly, Gyeongnam was found to have given low weight on income basis project.

The R&D investment of Korean government has been concentrated into 6T areas-IT(Information Technology), BT(Bio-Technology), NT(Nano Technology), ET(Environment & Energy Technology), ST(Space Technology) and CT(Culture & Contents Technology) - for a couple of years. By this selection and concentration strategy, patent applications are on an increasing trend in these areas. This paper examined the trends of patent application in 6T areas. To do this, this paper classified each technology area into the detail technology area with the valid number of patent applications. According to the result, the analysis data will be used to make R&D budget appropriation of the government.

In this research, we used KOSPI, KOSDAQ and a stock price of Information Security related Company - S1, Ahnlab, Suprema, Raonscure and Igloosecurity. From August 2010 to July 2014, that is during 208 weeks(4 years), we had grasped index and stock price trend. Also we had attempted various Empirical analysis - Basic statistics of Security related Stock, Analysis of variance, Correlation analysis and Weekly Rate of Rise trends. The first purpose of this research is to see correlation between Security related Company and KOSPI, KOSDAQ. The second purpose of this research is to analyze whether stock items have investment value or not while watching features of flow of stock price per item. We expect possibility and merit of investment when we suppose Security industry's high potential to grow. It seems that Security related Company deserves to be invested. We expect investment for Security related Company that has high possibility of growing will create high yields compared to Market yields.

Major countries stay to expand invest in R&D to promote new growth engines in the future and to secure new technologies and Korea is also expanding to R&D investment. Quality of R&D investment is getting more Important than quantity of R&D investment because Korea's indicator related to R&D investment is already world class with other countries's investment scale by comparison with GDP. According to this trend, Korea's policy in R&D is focusing the R&D Innovation Plan and "Utilization of R&D Facility and Equipment(F&E)" has been getting important. In this research, it research on facility and equipment management plan through Defense R&D Equipment information System(DRES). It analyzes existing process F&E in Defense field and Nation. Furthermore, it explains major process, function, and menu reflecting Defense F&E management rule enacted recently. Lastly, it shows the development direction for Defense F&E management.

This paper introduces the 5G spectrum auction in Germany that occurred last summer and ended overheatedly after an extraordinarily long period. We describe the context of the latest German spectrum auction and trace the participants' bidding behavior. This case details the trend of the 5G spectrum auction and the factors that affect the spectrum auction as follows: First, it is determined that investment obligations that force network installations can be a financial burden to mobile network operators (MNOs) and require a careful approach. Second, excess demands can cause auction overheating and the spectrum supply volume needs to be determined by a proper demand forecast and investment incentive. Third, 'Set-Aside' for local usage aids in developing the vertical industry; however it limits the spectrum supply for mobiles and leads to higher bidding prices. Fourth, a modified adoption of a typical spectrum auction can alleviate MNO's financial burdens to secure the broadband spectrum. Finally, competition to secure the necessary bandwidth in the situation of limited spectrum supply may delay the process of the spectrum auction, causing it overheated.

In the domestic stock market, the capital market opened in January 1992, and the proportion of foreign capital has steadily increased, accounting for 30% of the domestic market in Overall stock market trend infers that the domestic stock market is more influenced by foreign issues than domestic issues. The trading trend of foreign capital displays a similar flow to exchange rate fluctuations,; thus, preparing an investment strategy by using the Pearson analyzing method the effect of exchange rates of foreign capital trading, fluctuations in exchange rates, and predicting one of the macroeconomic indicators will yield high returns in the stock market. Therefore, this research was conducted to help investment by predicting foreign variables comparing and analyzing exchange rates and foreign capital trading patterns, and predicting appropriate time for buying and selling.
