수술가운의 생산 및 착용현황에 관한 연구 (A Study on Wearing and Manufacturing of Surgical Gowns)

  • Surgical operating gowns are worn by doctors and nurses in operating theater to address dual function of preventing transfer microorganisms like bacteria and body fluids from the operating staffs to patients. and also from patients to staff. They must allow necessary mobility without rubbing and must resist tearing. These gown must be designed to fit a diversity of body shapes and sizes with a limited range of sizes as hospitals will stock limited quantities. Also they must proper in various operating situations. In order to suggest improving design features of surgical gowns, it has been done to analyze current situation of medical uniform manufacturing and wearing. Surgical gown were made with plain fabric of cotton 100% and had a little size system without sexual division. Many doctors were unsatisfied with surgical gown size and wearing comfort. Surgical operating gowns need continuos research for new material and design as surgical situation, and new sizing system.

Using Immersive Augmented Reality to Assess the Effectiveness of Construction Safety Training

  • The increasing size and complexity of modern construction projects demands mature capabilities of onsite personnel with regard to recognizing unsafe situations. Construction safety training is paper or computer-based and suffers from a distinct gap between the classroom training environment and real-world construction sites; even trained personnel can find it difficult to recognize many of the potential safety hazards at their jobsites even after receiving construction safety training. Immersive technologies can overcome the current limitations in construction safety training by reducing the gap between the classroom and a real construction environment. This research developed and tested a new Augmented Reality (AR)-based assessment tool to evaluate the hazard recognition skills of students majoring in construction management as part of a construction safety course. The quantitative and qualitative results of this research confirmed that AR-based assessment can become a very effective assessment tool to evaluate safety knowledge and skills in a construction safety course, outperforming both paper and computer-based assessment methods. The students preferred AR-based assessment because it provides a realistic visual context for real world safety hazards.

한국 임상치과위생사의 이직의도 관련 요인에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰 및 메타분석 (Turnover intention among dental hygienists in Korea: a systematic review and meta-analysis)

  • Objectives: To identify the factors influencing the turnover intention of registered South Korean dental hygienists and analyze the effect sizes. Methods: Overall, 54 studies based on criteria of PICO from 1 January 2000 to 11 January 2022 were extracted. The factors related to turnover intention were applied to the ecological system theory and categorized. Subsequently, the effect size of the correlations was comprehensively meta-analyzed by dividing it into protective and risk factors depending on the negative or positive correlation direction. Results: For the overall effect size, the protective factor (ESr=-0.458) was higher than the risk factor (ESr=0.352). In the protective factors, organizational commitment and perceived organizational support belonging to the microsystem yielded the largest effect size. Furthermore, as for risk factors, burnout, job stress, work harassment, role conflict, and emotional labor belonging to the microsystem showed a moderate effect size. Conclusions: Factors belonging to the microsystem demonstrated a large effect size in both protection and risk factors for dental hygienists' turnover intention. Additionally, the factor showing the largest effect size was protective factor categorized into a microsystem.

병원경영의 수익성 결정요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Factors Affecting the Managerial Performance of Hospitals)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze a trend of profitability classified by characteristics of hospitals and to analyze related factors. The data for this study were derived from survey material conducted by the Korean Hospital Association on 33 hospitals in Korea between 1993 and 2002. Profitability was measured in the aspect of investment profit rate and operation profit rate with net profit to total assets, normal profit to total assets and operating margin to gross revenue as dependent variables. Independent variables were classified by general factors (ownership, number of beds, period of establishment, region), financial factors (total asset turnover, liabilities to total assets, current ratio, fixed ratio, inventories turnover, personnel costs per operation profit, material costs per operation profits), composition of manpower and facilities(personnel and area per beds), productivity index(the number of daily patients per medical doctor, the number of daily patients per nurse), the score of quality assurance activities. First, Concerning the specialists per beds or area per beds and profitability of hospitals there was not statistically significant. Second, Those hospitals having the most daily patients per nurse had significantly higher profitability than the others, but the number of daily patients per medical doctor had little effect on the profitability. Thirds, Those hospitals having a higher proportion total asset turnover tended to show significantly higher profitability compared to other hospitals, but the liabilities to total assets and liquidity ratio had a little difference to the profitability. Those hospitals having a higher proportion personnel costs per operation profit and material costs per operation profits tended to show significantly lower hospital profitability compared to other hospitals. Fourth, In regression analysis, hospital profitability had negative relationship with personnel costs per operation profit or material costs per operation profits. While it had positive relationship with total asset turnover, the number of daily patients per nurse. In conclusion, private hospitals had higher profitability than that of public hospitals. Though factors related to profitability of hospital were different according to ownership, it is important for securing appropriate profitability by operating appropriate number of nurse, raising total asset turnover, and reducing personnel costs, material costs per operation profits. This study can be used as a baseline data for planning of hospital management. But the study may be limited in that the results cannot be generalized due to its small sample size. However, this longitudinal observation of 33 hospitals over ten year period has significant merit alone.

Model based Simulation of Container Loading/Unloading

  • Currently, most logistics use containers. The construction of new port and high speed medium size container ship for the transportation of merchandise have become very important. The problem of ship stability is also important because of its direct influence on the loss of human life, ships, and merchandise. The stability of a container ship during its operation is not a large problem because it is well considered in the design process. However, the assessment of ship stability during container loading/unloading in port still depends on the expertise of experienced personnel. In this paper, a model based simulation system is introduced, which is able to assess ship stability during container loading/unloading, using ENVISION, a general purpose simulation system.

공동주택 리모델링 사례조사를 통한 리모델링 제도 개선방안에 관한 연구 (The Study on Systematic Improvement Plans in Remodeling by the Case study of the Apartment Housing Remodeling)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the improvement plans and the future development guidelines to improve the apartment housing remodeling. To achieve this goal, case studies and personnel interviews were conducted. Case Studies were performed on 3 apartment houses which had a remodeling association and personnel interviews were performed on the union presidents of the apartment houses. As a result of this study on the practice of apartment housing remodeling, the problems are as follows; 1) a lack of establishing the specific standards and the operation procedures in terms of the laws and regulations 2) a lack of the residents' right awareness in terms of the maintenance & administration 3) a lack of the funds raising in the case of remodeling in the small. middle size in terms of the finance. According to above results, to improve the apartment housing remodeling, it is showed to be necessary to establish the specific standards and procedures in the laws, regulations and policies, which will be accomplished by real remodeling cases.

해군 함정 정비체계 최적 정비인력 할당 모형 연구 (A Study on the Optimal Allocation of Maintenance Personnel in the Naval Ship Maintenance System)

  • 해군 정비체계는 전투함정을 수리하는 역할을 수행한다. 한국 해군은 전투함정의 전비태세를 최대화하기 위해 4개의 정비창을 운용하고 있다. 각 정비창은 함정 유형, 정비 종류, 정비 능력에 따라 다른 정비 서비스를 제공하는 특성으로 인해 정비인력을 각 정비창에 최적으로 할당하는 것은 어려운 문제가 되고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 정비창의 성능척도에 중요한 영향을 미치는 정비인력의 할당 측면에서 정비창의 운용을 연구하였다. 대기행렬 네트워크 이론, 분해 및 최적화 기법을 이용하여 본 연구에서는 정비체계 내 대기 중인 고장 함정의 수를 최소화할 수 있는 정비인력 할당 모형을 제시한다.

레이저를 이용한 박판 버의 정밀측정 (Precision measuring of burrs on sheet metal using the laser)

  • The sheet metal shearing process is normally used in the precision elements such as semi-conductor components. In precision elements, burrs usually reduce the quality of machined parts and cause interference, jamming and misalignment during assembly procedures and because of their sharpness, they can be safety hazard to personnel. Furthermore, not only burrs are hard to predict and avoid, but also deburring, the process of removing burrs, is time-consuming and costly. In order to get the burr-free parts, therefore, we developed the precise burr measuring system using the laser. The laser burr measuring system consists of the laser probe, the photo detector, the achromatic doublet lens, and the rotary & the X-Y table. In previous reports, we used simple vertical measuring method. But, as we used relatively bigger laser spot diameter and had the limited reflection angle, it was difficult to obtain the precise measuring results. So called, the spot size effect makes the profile of burr measured distorted and the burr height measured smaller. By introducing the novel laser measuring method which employing the achromatic lens system and the tilting mechanism, we could make the spot size smaller and get the appropriate beam direction angle. Through the experiments, the accuracy of the developed system is proved. The burr height measured during the punching process can be used for automatic deburring and in-situ aligning.

건설공사 품질관리자의 인건비 및 배치규모 개선 (Improvement of Personnel Cost and Placement Scale of Quality Manager for Construction)

  • 건설공사의 품질관리비를 산정하기 위해서는 관련 법 규정에 따라야 하며 세부적으로는 품질시험비와 품질관리활동비 등 여러 항목의 비용 산출이 요구된다. 품질관리비 중에서 인건비는 건설공사 품질관리 업무지침의 품질시험비 산출단위량을, 인건비의 노임단가의 적용은 대한건설협회 및 한국엔지니어링협회가 조사 공표하는 노임단가를 적용하도록 규정하고 있다. 그러나 관련 법 규정에서 품질관리자와 품질시험자의 인건비 적용기준이 서로 모호하게 규정되었으며, 건설공사의 품질관리비 산정 및 인건비 적용 등에 혼란을 유발 하였다. 또한 품질관리자의 배치기준에 대하여 공사규모에 따라 규정하고 있으나 품질시험자의 배치기준에 대한 규정은 없으며, 건설현장에서는 품질관리자 외 품질시험자의 배치인력이 없거나 매우 적은 인력을 배치하는 등 소극적인 행태로 인하여 품질시험자가 실시해야 할 품질시험 업무를 품질관리자가 실시하고 있어 과중한 업무로 인하여 품질관리 활동의 저조와 품질확보가 어려운 현실이다. 본 연구에서는 건설공사의 품질확보 및 부실공사 방지를 위하여 품질관리비의 인건비 산정과 품질관리자 및 품질시험자의 배치기준을 다음과 같이 정립하고 제시한다. 관련 법 규정에서 모호하게 규정하고 있는 배치기준을 품질관리자와 품질시험자로 구분하여 공사규모에 따라 배치하도록 규정하고, 한국엔지니어링협회의 노임단가를 기준으로 하여 품질관리자 및 품질시험자의 인건비를 각각 기술자(기술사, 특급, 고급, 중급, 초급) 및 숙련기술자(고급, 중급, 초급)의 노임단가를 적용하도록 제시한다.

보건간호사의 사기진작(士氣振作)에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Nurses' Morale)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine public health nurses for their morale, test the effect of each factor on the morale, determine the variables affecting the morale, and thereby, provide for some basic data useful to the development of personnel affair administration for nurses. The survey on the nurses for public health centers was conducted for 10 days from April 23 to May 2, 2001; 96 nurses from Pusan, 101 from Kyonggi-do and 108 from Kangwon-do. The results of the study are as follows; 1. For the demographic variables, those aged between 31 and 39 accounted for the majority $(50.2\%)$ of the sample. $90.8\%$ was married, and $67.9\%$ of the sample graduated from junior colleges. $29.6\%$ of them had worked for 10-14 years and $62.5\%$ was of the seventh rank. $62.3\%$ of the nurses was recruited, and $59.4\%$ had chosen the public job for its guaranteed status. Half the nurses were working for the county population of which was more than 260 thousands, and $53\%$ of the nurses was serving the public health centers with 11-15 members. $47.3\%$ of them perceived that their living standard is middle or lower. 2. The degree of the moral was found as mean score. 2.65, which is interpreted as low. It has 11 factors. The rank of mean score of the factors is job satisfaction (3.36), sense of belonging (3.36), sense of recognition (3.30), stress due to supervision (3.13), degree of participation (3.05) and self-achievement (3.04), while those scoring lower points were assurance of status (2.58), pay level (2.53), working conditions (2.35) and promotion opportunity (2.31). 3. The degree of moral depending on the demographic variables was significantly affected by such variables as age. academic background, career, rank, employment method, motive for the job, size of the population served and living standards. 4. The result of the Stepwise multiple regression analysis for the morale factors, it was found that self-achievement accounted for $61\%$ of the total variance of the degree of morale, followed by stable status $(18\%)$, working conditions $(8\%)$, job requirements $(4\%)$ and promotion opportunities $(2\%)$; these five factors explained about $94.6\%$ of total variance of the degree of nurses' morale. On the other hand. age $(8\%)$ and academic background $(2\%)$ accounted for $10\%$ of the total variance of the degree of morale. 5. The factors affecting nurses' job life was economic need $(26.7\%)$, personnel management $(17.5\%)$, sense of recognition $(13.2\%)$, human relationship $(11.0\%)$, stable status and personal development in rank. On the other hand, the factors influencing on their possible resignation were children's bringing-up $(27.8\%)$, poor personnel management and promotion $(13.3\%)$, workload $(11.1\%)$ and little personal development $(8.9\%)$, Since such morale factors as promotion opportunity, working condition. pay level and stable status scored lower, it is required to reconsider those factors to improve nurses' morale.
