하이테크 분양의 GSI 구현 대상 우선순위 평가 방법 및 적용 방안 연구 (Development of Priority Evaluation Framework for IT System Consolidation using Global Single Instance in Hightech Industry)

  • The effort for GSI based IT system consolidation has been continued due to the increase of the system and complication increase of system connection, mainly by the global company. Since successful example of GSI realization by part of developed company affect to Korea, global level IT system consolidation has been examined mainly by the domestic company that have great deal of overseas business. Although they have examined consolidation possibility mainly on R&D, finance, operation management part which is the base part of company management, there are limitation for consolidation realization because of the difference between regional business problem of huge cost needed for consolidation. To overcome these realization limitations, it is necessary to lead risk and cost reduction through stepwise part unity and decide Priority Evaluation Framework for Consolidation target and systematic consolidation strategy. For GSI realization, appropriate distributions of unification time according to target system are needed. In this study, based on easiness and usefulness of consolidation and connection between the targets, evaluation methodology for Priority Evaluation Framework of system consolidation has been developed. Priority Evaluation Framework has been decided by applying developed methodology to global production company of high tech industrial part. Through this methodology, companies can realize successful and stable GSI by investing global resources intensively by Priority Evaluation Framework of consolidation target system.

Probit 회귀분석을 통한 ISMS 인증 취득 전략 탐색: 조직 특성을 중심으로 (Exploring the Strategy for Acquiring ISMS Certification through Probit Regression: Focusing on Organizational Characteristics)

  • In the field of information security management systems, one of the representative certifications in Korea is ISMS-P certification, and internationally, ISO/IEC 27001 certification is recognized. When companies acquire both ISMS-P (or ISMS) and ISO/IEC 27001 certifications, budget and manpower are duplicated in similar areas. Therefore, it is necessary for the company to choose and invest in a certification that is suitable for its conditions. This paper proposes a strategy for obtaining information security management system certification that is suitable for the characteristics of the company, allowing for effective information security management based on the company's conditions. To achieve this, data were collected from the Ministry of Science and ICT's Information Security Disclosure System (ISDS), the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), and the Financial Supervisory Service's Data Analysis, Retrieval and Transfer System (DART), and Probit regression analysis was conducted. During the Probit regression analysis, the relationships between seven independent variables and five cases of ISMS-P (or ISMS) acquisition, ISMS-P acquisition, ISMS acquisition, ISO/IEC 27001 acquisition, and both ISMS-P (or ISMS) and ISO/IEC 27001 acquisition were analyzed. The analysis results revealed the relationship between company characteristics, including industry, and certification acquisition in the ISMS field. Through this, strategies for certification acquisition based on company types could be suggested.

  • People have relatively continuous and stable characteristic and it can help understand personal attitude and behavior. As individual has individual personality and society has culture, in case of organization, there is organization culture that means unique cultural characteristic. And as if we need to know culture of that society to understand individual, we need to know organization culture of that organization to understand any organization. The reason why organization culture is acknowledged as modern theory of business management is-modern company has proposed management innovation, organization activation, company transformation, and company reprogramming as management strategy to cope actively with various and quickly changing environment that modern company face-that organization culture and management innovation, that is, the concept of new business management is highlighted for means and tools to solve such problems. Seeing contemporary situation, although organization culture of small company is being improved by management innovation, cause and effect that organization culture affect technique innovation still insufficient. The meaning of this research is, through a good example of organization culture, providing reason that efficient organization culture affect technique innovation of small company(medium and small company) and making people understand why this effect occur. Through this, I want to provide strategy and policy implication of company.

제조업체에서 상사-구성원 교환관계가 부하직원의 직무몰입과 안전행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects Manufacturing Company's Leader-Member Exchange on Employee's Job Commitment and Safety Behavior)

  • In manufacturing company, safety is a important issue because it can cause many cost and problems of company. So reduce safety accident can increase manufacturing company's productivity. Safety accident has close relationship with employee's behavior, which is 'safety behavior'. In this study, researcher try to find out role of leader-member exchange and employee's job commitment effect on safety behavior in manufacturing company. A total of 279 responses were collected from manufacturing company's employees. The result of this empirical study show us that leader-member exchange has positive effect on employee's job commitment and safety behaviot. And job commitment has positive effect on safety behavior. Base on this empirical result, researcher provide critics and manageric implication for manufacturing companies.

위탁급식 전문업체의 브랜드 운영 전략을 위한 브랜드 인지도 분석 - 인천 지역 일부 대학생을 대상으로 - (A Study on Brand Awareness of Contract Foodservice Management Company in Incheon Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the college and university student's perception on the brand awareness of contract foodservice management company in Incheon area. The developed questionnaires were distributed to the college and university students in Incheon area from September 20 to September 24 in 2004. Total 198 questionnaires were used for the final data analysis with response rate of 82.5%. The results showed that 85 % of the students has known that the foodservice operation was managed by contracted management company, only 56.5% of them have known the exact name of contract foodservice management company managing their cafeteria. It was recommended therefore that contract foodservice management company need more efforts for widening public activities for their company's name.

  • This research studies the role of IT (Information Technology) in improving productivity of a company through samll group activities. For this purpose, this research analyzed the samll group activities of the company as to how IT was employed bo improve business processes. Cases of small group activities that were conducted from January, 1996 to December, 1996 in a Korean company (name withdrawn) were analyzed. Eight out of eleven small group activities have been studied. They were examined as to the effect of IT in time and cost savings, reduction in manpower and so on. TQM is the activity of process improvement based on the existing processes in pursuit of satisfaction of customers' needs. This study analyzed how IT was used to solve the current problem in business processes. As a result of the case study, it is found that TQM activities with IT could reduce expenses significantly. More specifically, expenses have been cut down by 56% a year on average. By improving the business processes through the activities of TQM which used IT, companies could remove the unnecessary business processes and the duplicated business processes. In other words, with the use of IT in TQM activities, they could move closer to goals of the satisfaction of the customers' needs by reducing expenses and time. This study examined the role of IT from the point of view of business process improvement. Internally, IT has a positive impact on reducing expenses, processing time, manpower and so forth. Externally, it plays an important role of company's gaining competitive advantage through the satisfaction of customers and stakeholders. In conclusion, the proper use of IT will significantly increase the performance of a company.

용량 확장과 반납을 갖는 렌탈 자원 관리모델 (Rental Resource Management Model with Capacity Expansion and Return)

  • We consider a rental company that dynamically manages Its capacity level through capacity addition and return While serving customer with its own capacity, the company expands its capacity by renting items from an outside source so that it can avoid lost opportunities of rental which occur when stock is not sufficient. If stock becomes sufficiently large enough to cope with demands, the company returns expanded capacity to the outside source. Formulating the model into a Markov decision problem, we identify an optimal capacity management Policy which states when the company should expand its capacity and when it should return expanded capacity after capacity addition. Since it is intractable to analytically find the optimal capacity management policy and the optimal size of capacity expansion, we present a numerical procedure that finds these optimal values based on the value iteration method. Numerical analysis is implemented and we observe monotonic properties of the optimal performance measures by system parameters, which are meaningful in developing effective heuristic policies.

  • The current software company report system in Korea has many problems in its efficiency and effectiveness. In this paper, we investigated the system by surveying the contracting officials and contractors in software development. By analyzing current status and some problems with the survey results, we derived an feasible improvement scheme for the software company report system. We suggested efficient procedures and reporting items for the registration process, some benefits for contractors, and the short-term direction for its implementation.

한국에서 추진하는 기업도치의 성격 : 전경련의 구상을 중심으로 (Characteristics of the Company Town Project in Korea : The FKI's Conception)

  • 전국경제인연합회가 기업도시 건설을 제안한 이후 기업도시개발특별법이 통과된 지금까지도 국내에서 추진되고 있는 기업도시의 성격에 대해서는 논란이 지속되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기업도시에 대한 기존 연구 성과를 고찰하고 기업도시 건설을 제안한 전경련의 기업도시에 대한 관점의 변화를 검토하고 이를 통해 국내에서 추진되고 있는 기업도시의 성격을 규명함으로써 바람직한 기업도시 건설을 위한 함의를 얻고자 하였다. 이와 같은 목적을 위하여 본고에서는 전경련이 기업도시를 제안한 이후 전경련의 견해를 대변하고 전경련에게 이론적 배정을 제공해온 보고서들을 중심으로 기입도시의 정의와 사례 및 기대효과 등 세 부문에 걸친 논의 과정을 시계열적으로 검토하였다. 전경련의 기업도시는 제안 초기부터 서구의 전형적인 기업도시를 기초로 하여 기업이 개발하는 도시라는 관점을 지속적으로 관철시키면서 벤치마킹을 통해 일본형 기업도시를 추구하고 동시에 성공적인 클러스터를 준거로 채택하였다. 이들은 시대적 배경과 형성과정 및 경쟁력 창출 메커니즘이 상이하여 전경련이 추진하는 기업도시의 성공적인 실현 가능성은 의문시되고 있다. 따라서 기업도시가 현행법규의 틀 내에서 바람직한 방향으로 구체화되기 위해서는 처음부터 지나치게 대규모로 개발하는 것을 지양하고 다양한 경제주체들의 공간수요에 부응하기 위해 다수의 관련기업 및 공공기관의 참여가 가능한 방식으로 추진하며 혼란스럽게 중첩되고 있는 최근 신도시 개발계획들의 상호 관련성을 효과적으로 활용할 것을 주장한다.

  • It is critical that all companies improve productivity in order to maintain their international competitiveness. The productivity can be explained as a measurement of effectiveness that is calculated by "the ratio of what is produced to what is required to produce it". The goal of this paper is to enhance productivity for a small fast food company mainly through work analysis. This work analysis will help the company to downsize by improving efficiency via motion analysis and by reduction of losses via facility improvement.provement.
