When a mobile node changes a sub network using Mobile IP, it must register its current location to the home agent. If a mobile node is far from its home network, the Binding Update (BU) time delay is longer and affects its connection state. To solve such a BU delay problem, a new component in HMIPv6, called MAP, supports the mobility of mobile node to reduce the signaling delay in handover However, in hierarchical MAP architecture, the register concentration to a specific MAP may be occurred, which affects the network management wholly. In this paper, we propose a MAP selection scheme based on ioad balancing by the mobility factor and the traffic property. By the mobility factor and the traffic property, a mobile node can select a adequate MAP on its mobility factor and traffic characteristic.

This study has analyzed the situation and space structure of Chungcheong Region using the variables of land prices. The total amount of land prices of Chungcheon Region was 950 trillion KRW as of December 2013, showing that it has increased by 6.46 times compared to 147 trillion KRW of 1980, which was the time of initial analysis. As a result of analyzing the dynamic changes in the region based on the land prices from 1980 through 2013, there were significant changes in the space structures only in the 1980s. The analysis of centrality based on the land prices of Chungcheong Region has shown that the center of Chungcheong Region was to the northeast of Sejong City in the 1980s and moved to the right with the rise in the land prices of Daejeon Region. The standard deviation of distance showed concentration around Daejeon entering the 1990s from the 1980s, and almost no concentration has been found after that.

Russia has access to unique port locations and routes, one of them is North Sea route, which have been a major debate topic for last several decades. In order to handle any shipments along the route, an adequate and capable port system must be present. This study aims to identify development and competition patterns from 2007 to 2016 of Russian ports in the Arctic basin, concentration trends in particular. The objectives achieved through utilizing the Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI), concentration ratio (CR), the Gini coefficient and Lorenz curve, and shift-share analysis. Results demonstrate concentration trend, positive overall growth and lack of real competition. Originality of this study lies in the fact that certain analysis had not been done in previous studies, but importance of it may be found in several papers. Findings of this paper may assist policy-makers, port authorities and other researchers in understanding and further study on the region.

The energy consumption problem in wireless sensor networks is investigated. The problem is to expend as little energy as possible receiving and transmitting data, because of constrained battery. In this paper, in order to extend the lifetime of the network, we proposed a location-based clustering algorithm for wireless sensor network with skewed-topology. The proposed algorithm is to deploy multiple child nodes at the sink to avoid bottleneck near the sink and to save energy. Proposed algorithm can reduce control traffic overhead by creating a dynamic cluster. We have evaluated the performance of our clustering algorithm through an analysis and a simulation. We compare our algorithm's performance to the best known centralized algorithm, and demonstrate that it achieves a good performance in terms of the life time.

Network security infrastructure is constantly developing based on the combination and blending of various types of devices. From the form of distributed control, the phased defense policy such as fire walls, virtual private communication network, invasion prevention system, invasion detection system, corporate security management, and TSM (Telebiometrics System Mechanism), now it consolidates security devices and solutions to be developed to the step of concentration and artificial intelligence. Therefore, this article suggests network security infrastructure design types concentrating security devices and solutions as platform types and provides network security infrastructure design selecting methodology, the foundational data to standardize platform design according to each situation so as to propose methodology that can realize and build the design which is readily applied and realized in the field and also can minimize the problems by controlling the interferences from invasion.

Recently, the small sized wireless terminals have problems of processing of large sized file because of the trends of a small sized terminals and a large sized files. Moreover, the web servers or the file servers have problems of the overload because of the concentration with many number of files to the them. Also, There is a security vulnerability of the data processing caused by the processing with a unit of the independent file. To resolve the problems, this paper proposes a new scheme of fat splining distribution using the P2P networks with the mesh topology. The proposed scheme is to distribute blocks of file into any peer of P2P networks. It can do that the small sized wireless terminals can process the large size file, the overload problems of a web or file servers can solve because of the decentralized files, and, the security vulnerability of the data processing is mitigated because of the distributed processing with a unit of the blocks to the peers.

This study was conducted to identify the regional specialization that occurred during industrialization of agriculture. It examined patterns in oriental melons as one of the produce leading the development of the domestic protected horticulture sector. Oriental melons have been cultivated indoors for a long time. Seongju-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do is specializing in oriental melon cultivation through increasingly intensive production and spatial concentration and is now the largest oriental melon production area in South Korea. This paper first discusses the production intensification and spatial concentration of oriental melon cultivation at the national level and then examines the specialization of oriental melon cultivation in Seongju-gun in terms of land use, cultivation facilities and related technologies, and the division of labor. This examination was based on relevant statistics and in-depth interviews with main actors from the area.

With technological development including digitization, movie demand and supply in digital online movie market are increasing. This study aims to explore demand concentration of the digital online movie market, which is characterized by product variety compared to cinemas. Major findings of the empirical analysis on the TV VOD data during the recent seven years(2013 ~ 2019) are as follows. First, the analysis on 1,137 titles reveals that movie demand of theatrical market is more concentrated than that of TV VOD. Second, absolute long tail index of TV VOD, measured by the download number of indie & artistic movies(niche product), is increasing as more such movies are released in the market. However, both relative long tail index, measured by the share of indie & artistic movie demand, and top-ranked movies' share do not show consistent increase or decrease trend. Third, regression analysis exhibits that the relationship between demand concentration and market size is insignificant for TV VOD market. This study might have usefulness in that it provides empirical evidence for the nature of the Korean digital online movie market.

We question whether Korean IT managers consider real options to reduce risks of cloud service implementation. This work investigates the impact of technology risk, relationship risk, economy risk, security risk upon the intention of IT managers to utilize abandon & expansion options. We also analyze moderation effect of centralization level of decision making between these risks and the utilization of real options. Using the survey questionnaire, we empirically find that technology risk, relationship risk and security risk have significant effect upon abandon option and technology risk, relationship risk, and economy upon expansion option. We also find the evidence that centralization level moderates some risks and the direction of moderation effect is to offset the effect of risks on intention to utilize real options.
