Systems architecture of information models for construction industry is introduced. The architecture ful fills international standards, such as ISO 10303(STEP) and IAI IFC, etc. It is defined in web service description language(WSDL) and ISO 10303-11(EXPRESS) language. A standard platform for this standard architecture is also developed. This platform has several tools which can transform EXPRESS description file into C++ or Java languages and which also can generate an IDL file or OWL file from an EXPRESS file. System architects, software engineers, information system consultants can use these standards to define their information model for construction industry in standardized way. Construction engineers can test this information model with ease using standard testing tools and testing method, which is also a part of standard architecture of information systems for virtual construction.

Although the STEP modularization is the major development methodology for STEP Application Protocol, there have been few studies on the STEP Modularization in Korea. The necessity of STEP Modularization research has been raised continuously. In addition, the importance became larger and larger because most of newly developing APs, including AP241, are developed using modularization approach. The object of this study is to investigate the basic structure and contents of AEC facilities related Application Modules using STEP Modularization. This study examines 1) the technical analysis regarding STEP Modularization, 2) application modules development regarding civil engineering elements of AP241; Aec_faciliteis_classification", "Aec_civil_item", and "Aec_civil_componet", 3) the developed application modules verification, and 4) the implementation methodology suggestion for application modules and modular AP.

본 연구에서는 표준화 대상 정보로서 화학산업의 공정 플랜트 정보를 다룬다. 화학 공정 플랜트 정보는 기능, 형상, 연결 등 복잡한 형식을 가지고 있으며, 이는 공정의 설계, 건설, 운전 및 유지보수 단계에 있어서 유기적으로 활용되며, 상호 변경사항이 있을 경우에 정확하게 갱신되어야 할 필요가 있다. 이러한 정보의 효율적 교환 및 공유를 위해서 데이터 표준은 정보 이용자의 협의하에 개발되어 활용되어야만 함은 주지의 사실이다. 화학 산업분야 특화된 ISO 15926 RDL(Systems and integration of life-cycle data for oil and gas production facilities : Reference Data Library)은 플랜트 기자재 정보 교환 및 공유를 위한 데이터 모델 및 방법론을 제공하는데, 기존의 표준을 이루었던 ISO 10303 AP221, AP231, AP227을 포괄하여 하나로 집중 개발될 전망이다. 이러한 개발의 주체는 노르웨이에 근거를 두고 있는 Posc Caesar Association이라는 협의체인데, 우리나라도 이 협의체의 정회원으로 등록되어, 의견을 제시하고, 개발 과정을 검토하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 관련 국내외 표준화 동향 및 전망을 살펴보고, 향후 관련 학계 및 산업계의 활동 방향에 대해 제시한다.

국제표준규격인 ISO 10303(STEP), ISO 13584(PLIB), ISO 15926을 연구하고 해외건설 플랜트의 기자재 데이터를 입수하여 전문가를 통한 분석, 분류 및 국제표준규격(ISO 15926 RDL) 기반과 비교하여 분류체계 구축 및 속성정보 정의 작업을 수행하였다. 통합 및 분리가 필요한 기자재 클래스에 대해서는 통합, 분리 작업을 수행하였고 적용 가능한 속성정보가 있을 경우는 클래스별로 확장 적용하였다. 이에, 5단계 레벨, 637개의 분류체계가 구성되었고 개방형 구조의 XML으로 플랜트 기자재 정보를 구축하여 계층구조 분류트리 표현 및 해당 기자재의 제품에 대한 상세 정보를 나타내었다. 또한, 제품정보를 통합검색, 카테고리검색, 상세검색, 논리검색 기능으로 검색, 확인할 수 있고 표준 및 제품, 업체, 시스템을 관리하는 기자재 정보 관리 시스템을 구현하였다.

Ships and off-shore plants have very long lifecycles. Design data of ships and off-shore plants are used as master data in the subsequent phases after the design phase. Therefore, it is an important issue how to convert native design data generated from commercial shipbuilding CAD systems into neutral data with the use of international industrial data standards. International standard-based exchange of ship outfitting and off-shore plant data needs the construction of a library for specifications data of equipment and materials and the provision of external referencing mechanism for retrieving data stored in the library. This paper proposes an approach to construct a specifications data library with the use of ISO 15926 process plants. This library is used for providing specifications data through external referencing when translating ship outfitting data from TRIBON system into ISO 10303 STEP AP 227-formed data.

본 연구에서는 트러스 교량의 표준화된 데이터베이스 구축을 통해 웹 환경에서 정보 공유를 실현하는 정보관리 시스템을 개발하였다. 이를 위해, 형상정보는 STEP에서 제시하는 AP 203을 기반으로 데이터 구조를 구성하여 정보를 저장하였으며, 웹상의 3차원 가시화는 Web 3D 기술을 적용하여 구현함으로써 사용자의 편의를 돕고 구조물에 대한 기하학적인 이해를 용이하게 하였다. 해석정보는 AP 209를 사용하여 유한요소해석모델과 해석결과 및 물성 정보를 관계형 데이터베이스에 저장하였다. 구축된 데이터베이스를 기반으로 트러스 교량의 정보관리를 위한 통합된 시범시스템을 개발하였으며, 개발된 시스템은 시방규정 및 안전점검과 같은 제반정보를 형상객체와 연계하여 사용자에게 제공한다.

STEP-NC 는 기존의 G-code 를 대체할 새로운 CNC 인터페이스 언어로써 현재 밀링 공정에 대해서는 국제 표준 단계에 있으며 조만간 기존의 G-code 를 대체할 것으로 기대된다. 그러므로 국내에서도 CAD-CAM 업체, CNC maker, 공작기계 제작 업체, 사용자 등 생산 환경 전반에 걸쳐 이에 대한 대응이 시급하다. 본 논문에서는 국내에서의 STEP-NC 의 promotion 을 위해 1) STEP-NC data model 을 분석하고, 2) 파트 프로그램의 작성 방법을 자세히 설명하고, 3) STEP AP203 CAD 파일로부터 STEP-NC 파트 프로그램을 생성하는 과정을 Korea STEP-NC 시스템을 통해서 설명하였다.
