The GFSK Transceiver of 400MHz ISM band for data communication is designed and fabricated. To reduce the occupied bandwidth of transmitted signal, the GFSK modulation is selected. The measured results of fabricated transceiver show the data rate of 2400bps at 8.5kHz bandwidth, frequency deviation of less than $\pm$3kHz, sensitivity of -111dBm, SNR of 21.58dB. The fabricated transceiver is satisfied with the regulation of radio wave and has the good performance. This transceiver is well suited for data communication of 400MHz ISM band.

The conventional channel selection method for a ZigBee communication network basically detects the energy values in all channels. In the ISM band, no license is required to use channels in this band, so there may exist various interference factors in this band. It is well known that WLAN is the major interference factor degrading the performance of ZigBee in the ISM band. In this paper, we propose an efficient channel selection algorithm which uses the pattern of two types of WLAN channel uses as the a priori information of IEEE 802.11 band IEEE 802.11g. By using the proposed algorithm, we may save the time required to select channels for the ZigBee communications.

High ambient interstellar pressure is suggested as a possible factor to explain the ubiquitous ob-served growth-rate discrepancy for supernova-driven super bubbles and stellar wind bubbles. Pressures of P / k ${\~} 10^5\;cm^{-3}$ K are plausible for regions with high star formation rates, and these values are intermediate between the estimated Galactic mid-plane pressure and those observed in starburst galaxies. High-pressure components also are commonly seen in Galactic ISM localizations. We demonstrate the sensitivity of shell growth to the ambient pressure, and suggest that super bubbles ultimately might serve as ISM barometers.

본 연구에서는 ISM 밴드 소출력 무선 통신을 이용한 수액세트 감시시스템 개발에 대하여 연구하였다. 사회가 발전하면서 복지 수요가 증가되고 있으며 특히 의료 서비스에 대한 수요의 증가가 예상되고 있다. 유비쿼터스를 이용한 각종 의료장비들이 개발되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 병원의 응급실이나 중환자실과 같이 수액공급시 수액의 주입여부, 종료여부를 감시하는 수액세트 자동 감시시스템을 개발하고자 한다. 수액세트 감시장치는 센서부와 수신부로 구성되며, 센서부는 수액 백으로부터 수액이 공급중인지 여부를 검출하고 검출된 신호를 처리한 후 447MHz ISM 밴드의 무선주파수를 이용하여 중앙통제실로 전송한다. 센서부는 동전형 리튬전지를 이용하여 3개월 사용하도록 설계 구현하였고 실내에서최대 65m까지 전송이 가능하였다. 수신부는 센서부에서 전송된 데이터를 표시하는 기능을 한다.

It was confirmed that the life predictive equation by LMP and LMP-ISM are effective only up to 10$^2$hours and can not be used for long times of $10^3~10^5$ hours, but that by ISM can be used for long times creep life prediction with more reliability. The predictive creep life equation of ISM has better reliability than those by LMP and LMP-ISM, and its realizably is getting better for long time creep prediction($10^3~10^5$ h).

In this paper, we designed the video transceiver and control data transceiver of ISM bands. They are designed according to the law for radio regulation and can communicate with each other by about 1Km. Also, we developed the remote monitor and control system via radio using designed transceivers for ISM band.

We suggested the new compact dual band monopole antenna using two crossed planar monopole antenna. The proposed antenna will be used for the ISM dual band 2.45GHz/5.8GHz. It is necessary to verify its performance through the follow-up development of the proposed antenna for the high-speed wireless actual communications.

The electronic shelf label(ESL) system based on wireless communication can reduce waste of disposable paper, reduce labor force and update real time information. However, the environment in which a large number of ESL modules are installed is exposed to interference from radio frequency(RF) communications in the Industry-Science-Medical(ISM) band. In this paper, we propose an ESL system based on visible light communication to avoid congestion of ESL system using ISM band. In the proposed system, the goods information and ID transmitted from the administrator server are transmitted in the ESL Tag, and the ESL Tag identifies the ID and displays the product information. Experiments show that ESL system using visible light communication is possible.

PURPOSES : This study is to develop ISM for potential risk factor in School Zone. METHODS : Based on the literature review, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) has been used most widely. However, it is difficult to apply in practice because the AHP results have the characteristics of the independence between each element and the interlayer can not explain the interrelationship. The Network Analysis Process (ANP) is possible to analyze the relationship between the elements and the network through the feedback. But, the reliability of the analysis fall because of complicated pair of comparison, also it is difficult to solve the super matrix. In this study, the complicated relationship between each element is inquired through the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM). RESULTS : The methodology of ISM is developed to remove the children's potential risk factors in school zone. CONCLUSIONS : It is possible to remove the children's potential risk factors from low level to high level step by step and improve safety. Through this, risk factors can be removed from the low-level, and upper-level will automatically improve.

IMO(International Maritime Organization) is existed the movement for revising ISM Code so that the maintenance history and the trouble information given trading in a ship can be transferred. An empirical analysis was made on the influence that will have upon shipping industry through surveying on the recognition on ISM Code revision in employees of the relevant field and on the expected problems given being amended ISM Code as the above. In conclusion, the positive effect is judged to be more in the aspect of ship safety, which is the aim of ISM Code, rather than the negative effect, which may take place given being revised ISM Code. In other words, the clean market can be formed through this because fairness is maintained on both sides given trading in a ship by which opening the maintenance record and the trouble history is applied equally to a buyer and a seller. Ships can be reduced a loss of time and cost in preventing similar problems and seeking solution that may appear in important equipments, through this maintenance record. Also, based on these materials, it comes to be available for analyzing a risk of ship and preventing and managing a risk, thereby being increased ability of maintenance and repair in a ship, resulting in being judged to likely contributing to ship safety and environmental-pollution prevention.
