열화상카메라를 이용한 직물의 물 흡수 및 건조 특성에 대한 실험 연구 (Experimental Study on Water Absorption and Drying Characteristics of Various Fabrics using IR Camera)

  • Recently, various types of towels and dishcloth dryer products are being widely distributed in Korea. Evaluation methods for water absorption properties of various fabrics have been developed, and there are many studies using them. This study newly intended that whether it is possible to obtain data that can quantitatively analyze the water absorption characteristics of various fabrics, to show the correlation between the water absorption height and the amount of water (water holdup) absorbed, and to experimentally suggest the applicability to evaluate the drying capacity of towel dryer using IR camera. Through these experiments, it was confirmed that quantitative data on the water absorption height of various fabrics can be measured using an IR camera and can be clearly applied to the performance evaluation of actual products.

  • The IR edge absorption of the important pure components of ZrF4-based glasses, including two previously uncharacterized components(ZrF4 and AlF3), has been measured. Values of the glass IR edge absorption coefficients have been calculated from these results, assuming additivity, and are compared with experimental glass absorption coefficients. The calculated ${\alpha}$ values are about a factor of two lower than the experimental values for ZrF4-based glasses, and the ZrF4 makes the largest contribution to the calculated ${\alpha}$ value.

전송선 이론에 의한 적외선 흡수 구조체의 흡수율 모의시험 (Modeling and simulation on an IR absorbing structure with the cascaded transmission line model)

  • In this paper, the modeling and simulation of infrared absorption in an infrared absorbing structure with the cascaded transmission line model were carried out. Each layer in the infrared absorbing structure can be modeled as a characteristic impedance of the cascaded transmission line model. The simulation results show that the cavity thickness to get a maximum absorption should be less than a quarter wavelength, which is somewhat different from prevalent thickness. It can be assured that the sheet resistance of an absorbing layer to get a maximum absorption is $377{\Omega}/{\square}$, that the thickness of the absorbing layer dose not affect the spectral characteristics of absorption. It is also shown that the thickness of the active layer is not critical to the IR absorption. It can also be assured that the validation of this modeling is proved in comparison with the previous results from similar absorbing structures.

  • The IR spectra of he heavy metal fluoride glasses showed peaks at $1, 400cm^{-1}$ or $1, 100cm^{-1}$ due to metal oxyfluoride impurities. The intensity of this band and hence the oxide impurity content of the glass could be reduced considerably by the use of reactive atmosphere melting under $CCl_4$ In comparison with the fundamental IR absorption band of heavy metal oxides the oxide impurity bands observed in the heavy metal fluoride glasses are multiphonon bands due to a 2-phonon absorption process. The envelope of the a vs. v curve beyond thue fundamental region shows the exponential fall off of a with increasing v-typical of intrinsic multiphonon absorption. In the multiphonon region the amount of structure is intermediate between that observed for covalent solids and that for ionic solids.

  • 남미, 아프리카, 아시아 대륙의 자수정을 대상으로 하였다 ICP-AES 분석에서 나타난 발색원소는 Fe, Cr, Cu, Co이며 대체적으로 남미 지역에서 발색원소의 함유량이 높게 나타났다. UV-VIS 분석결과 천연자수정과 합성자수정은 350nm 영역과 550nm 영역에서 흡수가 일어나는 특성을 나타냈고 투과율은 합성에 비해 천연이 낮게 나타났다. FT-IR분석결과 천연자수정과 합성자수정의 구분은 합성자수정의 특징인 $3543cm^{-1}$ 흡수밴드의 유무에 의해 알 수 있었다 남미 지역은 $3584cm^{-1},\;3435cm^{-1}$ 흡수밴드가 강하게 나타나며, 아프리카 지역은 $3299cm^{-1},\;3196cm^{-1}$ 흡수밴드가 나타났다. 아시아 지역은 $3381cm^{-1}$ 흡수밴드가 특징적으로 관찰되었다.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 Ir192 선원을 이용한 근접치료에서 물 흡수선량 1 Gy에 대한 광자 에너지플루언스와 질량에너지흡수계수를 유도하는데 있다. Khan이 저술한 방사선치료물리학으로부터 Ir192 선원의 감마선 선속에 대한 납의 반가층을 얻었다. 얻어진 납의 반가층으로부터 선감쇠계수와 질량감쇠계수를 산출하였다. 산출된 납의 질량감쇠계수를 NIST의 납의 질량감쇠계수 자료에 대응시켜 일치하는 질량감쇠계수의 광자에너지를 유효에너지로 결정하였다. 결정된 유효에너지를 NIST의 물의 질량에너지흡수계수 자료의 광자에너지에 대응시켜서, 물의 질량에너지흡수계수는 0.03273 cm2/g(32.73 cm2/kg)으로 얻었다. 얻어진 물의 질량에너지흡수계수(32.73 cm2/kg)를 물 흡수선량 1 Gy에 나누어 광자에너지플루언스는 0.03055 J/cm2으로 산출하였다.

FT-IR and X-Ray Diffraction Characterization of Melanoidins Formed from Glucose and Fructose with Amino Acid Enantiomers in the Maillard Reaction

  • The objective of this study was to investigate Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectrometry and the X-ray diffraction (XRD) characterization of melanoidins formed from glucose and fructose with amino acid enantiomers in the Maillard reaction. Before dialysis, FT-IR spectroscopy of all the samples showed that the characteristic absorption intensities appeared as a broad and intense band of the stretching vibration of the -OH group at 3,400/cm for a high pH. The absorption bands of the melanoidins sharply decreased in intensity after dialysis as compared to those before dialysis. In particular, the absorption bands at 992 and 575/cm disappeared. The XRD confirmed that the crystal structure of the melanoidins disappeared after dialysis and a new crystal structure was formed at 9 and $28^{\circ}$ ($2{\theta}$. In particular, broad diffraction peaks were formed in the $10-21^{\circ}$ ($2{\theta}$) range for a high pH, while other sharp diffraction peaks disappeared.

졸-겔법으로 제조된 SiO2막의 적외선 복사특성에 관한 연구 (Infrared Radiation Properties for SiO2 Films Made by Sol-Gel Process)

  • FT-IR and thermograph were used to investigate the infrared radiation characteristics of $SiO_2$film made by the sol-gel method. FT-IR spectrum of the $SiO_2$film showed high infrared absorption by Si-O-Si vibration at 1220, 1080, 800 and cm$460^{-1}$ The infrared absorption and radiation wavelength ranges of the $SiO_2$film measured by the integration method coincided with the reflection method, and the infrared emissivity was 0.65, equally. Depending on the bonding of elements, the infrared emissivity was high in the wavelength range where the infrared absorption rate was high, that follows the Kirchhoff's law. The emissivity showed the highest value in the wavelength range between $8∼10\mu\textrm{m}$. $SiO_2$film was considered as an efficient materials for infrared radiator at temperature below 10$0^{\circ}C$. The heat radiation temperature was $117^{\circ}C$ for the aluminum plate, but $146^{\circ}C$ for the $SiO_2$film after 7 minutes heat absorption, consiquently, $29^{\circ}C$ higher than the former.

  • Iron-doped LiNbO$_3$ crystals were grown by floating zone(FZ) method with different [Li]/[Nb] ratio in order to investigate doping effects of transition metal impurity in LiNbO$_3$ crystal. The grown crystals were analyized edge in UV/VIS/IR spectrometry and EPMA(electron probe micro-analysis). The absorption edge in UV-VIS region and OH-absorption peak in IR region were investigated. The change of Fe concentration along the solidification direction was also investigated
