It is very important for beginners in networking to build, test, and operate an IP network system, which is the key infrastructure of the fourth industrial revolution. An IP network system consists of the IP network itself, covering both the internet and underlying layers, plus the basic network system supporting fundamental network services, with a DNS, the DHCP, email, WWW, and application service systems, such as VoIP. This paper suggests an open software-based practice platform with a minimal network configuration on which beginners can practice on nearly all of the IP network system, and it presents a practice scenario and results. In addition, it adds both IP address allocation and routing table manipulation functions to the network simulator software, which will allow beginners to learn table-based datagram routing schemes in advance. This platform may be useful for networking beginners in order to practice on an IP network system on their own personal computers without additional equipment and costs.

Because of increasing the notebook computer and PDA, users' requirement with respect to mobility is growing more and more. However, current IP protocol is not changed IP address and can not deliver IP packets on new location of host in case moving another network. To solve this problem, the IETF has proposed mobile IP. Today users want to be provided suitable QoS in the internet since demand of services is variety. The policy-based network management is method which can solve various problems of QoS, security, and complication of management in IP networks. This paper presents the network topology constitution, operation procedure and architecture of policy-based network management for providing internet DiffServ on mobile IP environment. In this paper we propose policy classes of policy-based DiffServ network management on mobile environment and create policy scenarios using the proposed policy description language to represent the policy classes. Finally, we implemented a policy-based DiffServ network management system on mobile IP environment.

기존의 유선 기반의 네트워크에서 무선 기반의 네트워크로 진화하는 현재의 흐름 속에서 서비스 및 망 자원의 유료화를 위해 무선 네트워크 기반 IP Accounting System에 대한 연구는 필수적이라 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 향후 무선망에서 중요한 위치를 차지하게 될 Mobile IP 기반 네트워크에서 망 자원 및 컨텐츠의 유료화를 실현시키기 위하여 IETF의 Mobile IP 표준화 동향 및 관련 표준 문서와 유선 네트워크 기반의 IP Accounting 시스템 구축 동향 및 핵심 기술, IP Accounting관련 표준화 기술 문서와 기술 동향 등을 연구 분석하였고, 그 내용을 토대로 IP Accounting 산정을 위한 시스템과 산정 절차를 감안한 Mobile IP Accounting 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.

IP 주소 부족 문제를 해결하기 위한 방법은 크게 두 가지로 나누어 볼 수 있다. 32bit 의 주소체계를 갖는 IPv4 를 128bit 의 주소체계를 갖는 IPv6 로 대체하는 장기적인 관점에서의 해결책과 네트워크 주소 변환(NAT : Network Address Translation) 기술을 이용하여 로컬 네트워크의 호스트들이 부족한 공인 IP 주소를 공유하는 단기적인 관점의 해결책이 있다. IPv4 에서 IPv6 로의 전이는 현재 구축된 모든 네트워크 장비와 인터넷에 연결된 호스트들의 수정이 필요하므로 많은 시간과 비용을 필요로 한다. 네트워크 주소 변환 기법은 로컬 네트워크에서 사설 IP 주소를 사용하고 로컬 네트워크의 호스트가 인터넷 접속 시 사설 IP 주소를 공인 IP 주소로 변환하여 인터넷 접속을 지원하는 범용적인 기술이다. 기존 네트워크 주소 변환 기술은 인터넷 통신의 기본 특성인 종단간 연결성(end­to­end connectivity)을 지원하지 못하고 종단 호스트간의 연결 매개 기술이므로 IPSEC 과 같은 종단간 통신 보안 지원을 목적으로 하는 기술에는 적용할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 NAT 기술의 한계를 분석하고 이를 극복하기 위해 호스트 라우팅을 이용한 공인 IP 주소 공유 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 IP 공유 기법은 IP 패킷의 헤더나 페이로드의 어떠한 수정 없이 단지 창조에 의해 사설 네트워크의 호스트들에게 인터넷 풀 액세스 및 종단간 IPSEC 세션을 지원한다.

Recently, a range of diverse networks are undergoing speedy evolution and inspiring variety applications. Among many networks, mobile Ad-Hoc networks (MANETs) are active working with a part of routing protocols. But, the majority of routing protocols have required a unique identifier, such as an IP address. At this while, IP address assignment scheme in MANET remains unsolved. When a centralized agent server is not exist, IP address is an critical issue such as a single MANET. This paper look over previous work about basic principles, also we suggest simple solution to overcome the power of two ($2^m$).

IP 네트워크가 급속도로 성장하고 있고, ISDN, 이동 네트워크, ATM 네트워크 등 다른 통신 구조와 공존하고 있다. 이러한 통신 구조들은 각각 자신의 응용 서비스를 제공하고 있기 때문에 상호 연동 요구가 점차 증가하고 있다. 특히, IP 네트워크를 경유하여 하나의 네트워크로부터 다른 네트워크로 신호 메시지를 전송하고자 하는 요구가 증대되어 왔다. 이에 따라 IETF는 IP 네트워크 상에서 통신 신호메시지 전송을 위한 새로운 프로토콜 SCTP를 개발하고 있다. 본 논문은 SCTP의 개념과 기능적 모듈 그리고 응용을 간단히 고찰하고, IP 네트워크 상에 SCTP를 설계하는 방안을 기술한다.

이 논문은 TCP/IP 기반의 근거리 네트워크에서 사용되는 개인용 컴퓨터의 MAC 주소을 이용하여 인터넷 프로토콜 주소 충돌을 해결하는 방법에 대하여 연구한다. 네트워크에 접속된 컴퓨터의 증가에 따른 IP 주소의 부족 현상과 고의 또는 실수로 권한을 받지 않은 사용자의 IP 주소의 사용에 의하여, 정당한 IP 주소 사용자가 네트워크를 사용할 수 없게 되는 경우가 있다. 본 논문은 근거리 네트워크에 접속되어 있는 컴퓨터의 MAC 주소와 IP 주소를 데이터베이스화 하여 IP 주소 충돌을 방지한 수 있는 시스템을 구축함으로써. 비정상적인 IP 사용자가 네트워크를 사용할 수 없도록 설계되어 있다.

Internet users want to use IP sharing routers for reducing their cost and managing their terminals easy. Network service providers(NSPs) forced their subscribers pay extra charges to use extra terminal like IP router, since 1998 in Korea. The NSPs asserted that IP sharing routers would harm their networks or would impose extra load on their networks, but they were unable to prove their assertion. Users and manufacturing companies insisted on the legitimacy of IP routers, because the IP router is a kind of terminal for end-users, and as such, the right of selection of an IP router belongs to the user. The interest in and beliefs of the relevant social groups about IP router will be deduced through their interpretation. It draws the technological frame of two social groups, NSPs and IP router-manufacturing companies. The rough struggle between two social groups come from their frames. The article shows how society constructs a particular information technology.

2004년도 정보통신부의 IT839 전략에 따르면 8대 신규 서비스로 인터넷 전화(VoIP)와 3대 첨단 인프라로 광대역 통합망(BcN)을 선정한 바 있다. 이에 본 고에서는 9대 신성장동력에서 공동으로 활용하기 위한 VoIP와 BcN을 연계한 기술 동향을 설명한다. SIP 와 H. 323에 의한 VoIP 서비스가 제공되면서 네트워크 구조 변화가 시작되었다. 유선 네트워크, 무선 이동통신 네트워크, 인터넷 등을 통합하는 유무선 통합네트워크(BcN)는 VoIP 기술로 구축될 것이다. 본 고의 구성으로는 VoIP 기술 특성을 설명하고, VoIP 표준 동향을 분석한 후에 앞으로 구축될 BcN VoIP 의 발전 방향에 대하여 설명한다. VoIP 기술은 회선 정합및 인터넷 정합 기술과 H. 323, SIP, MEGACO 등의 프로토콜 기술과 VoIP 품질을 결정하는 코덱 기술이있다. VoIP 표준은 IETF에서 제정한 SIP를 중심으로 네트워크 특성을 고려하여 3GPP, 3GPP2, ITU에서개발하고 있다. BcN VoIP 는 기존의 VoIP 기술을 발전시켜 음성 품질이 오디오 수준으로 향상되고, 유선과 무선, 방송이 통합되는 제어 기술과 연계하여 실시간 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공할 것이다.

대용량 데이터의 효율적인 저장 및 접근을 위해 전용 네트워크를 이용한 스토리지 시스템의 사용이 증가하고 있다. 일반적으로 스토리지 네트워크는 IP 네트워크와 연동하여 운영된다. 하지만 두 네트워크 관리 방식의 차이로 인해 통합 관리에 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 관리의 일관성과 효율성을 향상시키기 위해 SNMP 기반 IP 네트워크 관리시스템과 WBEM 기반 SAN 네트워크 관리시스템을 연결하는 SNMP-WBEM 게이트웨이를 제안한다. 제안된 게이트웨이 시스템은 IP 네트워크를 기반으로 SAN 네트워크 시스템에 대한 통합관리를 가능하게 함으로써 네트워크 관리의 효율성을 증대시킬 뿐 아니라, 네트워크 관리 시스템의 통합에 따른 문제점을 분석하고 이에 대한 해결책을 제시한다.
