By managing various communication networks collectively, Telecommunication Management Network (TMN) has appeared as a concept to aim for the unified and effective communication network operation and maintenance. IMT-2000 and other network such as PSTN, cellular networks and packet witching network that are integrated with IMT-2000 have been developed in different platforms - hardware and operating system, and a same circumstance will happen in the maintenance in the future. Also, it is difficult to approach to the standard for Ｑ3 interface implementation of the agent in TMN system that may occur in the development or the maintenance for the different platform of IMT-2000 and other networks that are integrated with IMT-2000. In order to solve this kind of Problems, this Paper suggests integrated network management agent of IMT-2000 based on the NTS model and Advanced Intelligent Network(AIN).

Users location management and handoff management is constructed more effective for giving satisfaction to QoS of multimedia service in Mobility network. For this, We have the HLR of IMT-2000, difference of the HLR of PCS, and connectivity Artificial Intelligent network and to provide data service of packet that is analyze to effect on the HLR. We have a study on effective for satisfaction of QoS, that is the VHE of full concepts for provide of service in the IMT-2000, packet data service for internet connectivity, for satisfaction of QoS on basis mobility network technologies of the 2nd generation.

In this paper, we designed and implemented the dual band monopole antenna for cellular CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) and IMT-2000(International Mobile Telecommunication 2000) repeater. The antenna was designed by using 3D simulations program, HFSS(High Frequency Structure Simulator). Electrical characteristics were measured by using HP 8720C network analyzer and measured maximum S$\_$11/ was -10.9 dB for all frequency bands of interests in Cellular CDMA and IMT-2000. Simulation results for antenna gain at 859 MHz and 2027.5 MHz were 2.38 dBi and 4.02 dBi respectively with omni directional radiation pattern. The size of implemented antenna is compact and the antenna can be produced in low cost enough for commercialization.

차세대 이동통신은 IMT-2000, UMTS, UPT 및 MBS 등이 대두되고 있으며, 이러한 시스템들은 전세계적으로 단일표준을 결정하여 하나의 단말기로 세계적인 고품질 서비스를 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 ITU는 세계 단일표준을 지향하여 표준화활동을 추진하고 있지만, 이것은 각국의 이해관계가 결부되어 복잡하게 전개되면서 미국, 유럽연합 및 일본은 지역시장을 선점하기 위한 기술표준을 논의하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 고에서는 우선 ITM-2000의 개념을 검토해 보고, 미국, 유럽연합 및 일본 등의 IMT-2000 기술의 연구개발 현황을 분석하고, 이들 국가의 차세대 휴대전화 기술개발 전략을 비교 분석하였다.

AAL2는 ATM 망에서 Low bit Rate의 음성이나 데이터를 Real-Time으로 전송하기 위해 만들어진 표준안이다. IMT-2000 System에서는 ATM을 근간으로 시스템이 구성되며, 이동전화 가입자의 음성패킷이나 Low bit rate 데이터를 전송하기 위해 AAL2를 채택하였다. 본 논문에서는 IMT-2000 System에서 AAL2를 구현하기 위한 시스템의 구조와 실제AAL2를 구현한 예를 보인다.

This paper has been studied a rower amplifier for IMT-2000 handset. Circuit design is performed and optimized by using HP ADS RF software. Designed amplifier consist of 2 stage, has 25㏈ gain, over 27㏈m output power and about 40% power efficiency. Power amplifier operation frequency range is 1955${\pm}$70MHz. Mask layout of the designed Amplifier consisting of 4 mask. The measured results of these values are satisfying the specification of IMT-2000 handset.

IMT-2000과 PCS를 연계 서비스하기 위해, 망 구성과 신호 프로토콜을 기반으로 로밍을 위한 연통 프로토콜을 설계하였다. 먼저 여전히 상당부분의 서비스를 차지하게 될 회선 방식의 음성 서비스에 대하여 기본 호 선정 전차와 해제 절차를 고려하였고, 미래의 주요 서비스로 예상되는 인터넷 서비스를 지원하기 위한 패킷 데이터 서비스의 프로토콜과 그 신호절차 설계를 포함하였다. 설계한 프로토콜은 기존 프로토콜에 대해 변형을 가하지 않기 때문에 시스템에 대한 무리가 없으며, IMT-2000과 PCS의 호 선정시 기본 지상망을 거치지 않기 때문에 효율적이라 할 수 있다

차세대이동통신(IMT-2000/FPLMTS)을 중심으로 한 이동통신은 고도 정보화사회를 열어가는 주역으로 2000년대 초에는 전체 통신서비스의 약 50% 정도를 점유할 것으로 예견되고 있다. 본 고에서는 차세대 이동통신인 IMT-2000/FPLMTS에 대한 국제 표준화 동향 및 미국, 유럽, 일본 등의 표준화 및 개발 동향을 살펴보기로 하겠다. 또한 우리나라의 표준화 및 개발 동향을 살펴봄으로써 CDMA 디지털 셀룰러 세계 최초 상용화로 이룩한 이동통신 선진국의 위치를 차세대 이동통신 분야에서도 실현하여 우리나라가 이동통신 대국이 되는 방안을 모색해보기로 하겠다.

이동통신의 요구사항이 종래의 음성위주에서 보다 발전된 형태인 무선멀티미디어 쪽으로 옮겨지면서 기존의 이동통신방식으로서는 지원에 한계가 생기게 되었다. 이러한 새로운 요구사항에 부응하면서 보다 고품질의 데이터 서비스를 제공하기 위한 이동통신방식에 대한 연구개발 노력이 ITU에서의 차세대 이동통신 표준인 IMT-2000 표준의 제정 움직임과 맞물려 차세대이동통신의 단일 국제표준을 제정하는 것을 목표로 하여 표준화 활동이 진행되었다. 그러나 표준의 진행과정에서 유럽과 북미를 중심으로 한 양대 표준으로 IMT-2000 표준의 축이 굳어지고 있는 형편이다. 이러한 표준화 움직임에 맞추어 본 고에서는 IMT-2000 무선접속 분야의 표준화 동향, 표준의 주요 기술 및 관련기술의 지적재산권 출원동향을 살펴보고자 한다.

IMT-2000 appeared in order to satisfy the desires of the uses who wish to supply through wireless most of the services being provided through wire, such as Internet services and multimedia high-speed data information. However, during global roaming, the signal data and the user data get transmitted through the networks of other users. Also, it is judged that with the provision of high speed data communication the amount of data communication necessary for confidentiality protection will increase. It is planned that the recent IMT-2000 Project will begin its commercial service in 2002. From this viewpoint, wireless contents, due to their special characteristics, are greatly exposed to illegal actions by third persons. As a result, it can be said that security and certification issues in the mobile telecommunication environment are indispensable matters. For this purpose, it is intended that in this thesis through an analysis of the existent IMT-2000 certification method, a more safe and efficient authentication method is presented and, at the same time, a security protocol necessary in the provision of wireless contents is designed.
