소비자의 정보탐색 유형별 온라인 점포속성 지각 (The Perception of Online Store Attributes by Online Consumer Information Seeking Type)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine characteristics of online consumer groups by information seeking type and to identify the variables influencing consumers'purchase intention of internet fashion product shopping by consumer groups. A questionnaire was administered to 456 adults who had purchasing experience at fashion outline shopping mall. SPSS 9.0 package was used for data analysis. Factor analysis, ${\chi}^2$-test, t-test, frequency, percentage, one-way ANOVA and stepwise regression analysis were utilized. The online store attribute dimensions of fashion online shopping main were tangibility, variety, marketing promotion, responsiveness, reputation, price and convenience. The online store attributes had directly different influences in the purchase intention of Internet fashion product shopping by online consumer groups. Outline information seeking type who had higher variety and reputation perceptions had more positively affected on the purchase intention of internet fashion product shopping. Offline information seeking type who had higher tangibility and variety perceptions had significantly positive influence on the purchase intention of it. Combination(online+offline) information seeking type who had higher price and responsiveness perceptions had positive impact on purchase intention of it.

  • Korea Aerospace Research Institute has been developing a 50-meter class airship to demonstrate the technology to be used in the development of a stratospheric airship, and importance of accurate prediction of the dynamic behavior of an airship before flight test is widely conceived. The added mass has large impact on the dynamic characteristics of an airship unlike for an airplane and the added mass of the airship with empennage is predicted in this paper. At first, the usability of the strip theory is examined which integrates the analytic two dimensional results in the cross section along the longitudinal axis. A panel method with the surface distribution of sources is developed and its validity is also examined. Finally, the panel method with both source and doublet distributions is implemented, and it is validated and applied for the calculation of the added mass of a 50-meter class airship. Using the methods developed, the influence of empennage and control surface deflection on the added mass property of the airship is studied.

ERP 도입의 공시가 기업의 시장 가치에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of ERP Implementation the Announcement on the Market Value of the Firm)

  • In the past few years, many Korean companies have implemented various ERP systems. Despite the enormous efforts and costs, however, there have been doubts about the effectiveness of ERP implementation. The purpose of this study is to identify whether the announcement of ERP implementation affects the market value of the firm. To achieve the research objective, event-study methodology was used assessing the cumulative abnormal returns(CARs) for 33 firms' announcements of ERP investments. Findings of the study are summarized as follows: First, the announcements of ERP implementation have no effect on the firm value though the sign is negative. Second, there is marginally significant difference in the market value of the firm between the first mover of ERP implementation and its followers. In order to figure out any possible reasons of such unexpected results, several investors and fund managers of major investment firms were interviewed. They reached the two agreements that ERP hardly increases the firm value. One was mainly due to the misfit between the foreign business processes built in the ERP systems and Korean firms' traditional business processes. The other was the possibility of financial deterioration caused by substantial costs for ERP implementation.

온라인 벤처기업의 전략적 제휴에 대한 공시가 기업가치에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Strategic Alliance Announcements of On-line Venture Firms on their Market Value)

  • Recently, many internet firms have opted the strategic alliances with other on/off-line firms in order to gain and sustain their competitive advantages. Previous research on market reaction to such alliances, however, shows mixed results. Therefore, the purpose of this thesis is to analyze the announcement effects of the alliances among internet firms in the stock market. Focusing on on-line firms that have been outside the scope of previous research, this study applied the event study methodology and examined the cumulative abnormal returns(CAR) for 245 alliance announcements between October 1998 and May 2002. Further, this study conducted a survey to categorize various types of announcements and 40 usable returns has been analyzed. The notable results from this study include: 1) The strategic alliances announcements do not have statistically positive effects on stock prices of the announcing firms. 2) Contrary to the results of the previous research, the CARs associated with marketing alliances are higher than those with technology alliances. 3) The degree of fitness among firms' disposition, their alliance purpose, and alliance type chosen influences the performance of their alliances.

A15083-O GMAW 용접시 불활성가스 혼합비가 용접부의 인성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Influence of Shield Gas Ratio on the Toughness of A15083-0 GMAW Weld Zone)

  • In this study, the toughness was evaluated by using the instrumented Charpy impact testing procedures for A15083-O aluminum alloy used in the LNG carrying and storing tank. The specimens were GMAW welded with four different mixing shield gas ratios (Ar100%+He0%, Ar67%+He33%, Ar50%+He50%, and Ar33%+He67%), and tested at four different temperatures(+25, -30, -85, and -196$^{\circ}C$ ) in order to investigate the influence of the mixing shield gas ratio and the low temperature. The specimens were divided into base metal, weld metal, fusion line, and HAZ specimen according to the worked notch position. From experiment, the maximum load increased a little up to -85$^{\circ}C$, and the maximum load and maximum displacement were shown the highest and the lowest at -196$^{\circ}C$ than the other test temperatures. The absorption energy of weld metal notched specimens was not nearly depends on test temperature and mixing shield gas ratio because the casting structure was formed in weld metal zone. In the other hand, the others specimens was shown that the lower temperature, the higher absorption energy slightly up to -85$^{\circ}C$ but the energy was decreased so mush at -196$^{\circ}C$

악성 림프종에서 FDG PET의 역할 (The Role of FDG PET in Malignant Lymphoma)

  • FDG PET is a functional imaging modality whose ability to detect lesions is directly based on a change of the glycolytic metabolism of targeted tissues, may be advantageous over other techniques. Combined with excellent image qualify, high spatial resolution, and whole body imaging capability, it has become popular as a new approach in the evaluation of patients with various malignancies. Initial staging of nodal and extranodal lymphoma using FDG PET has been proven to be at least equal or superior to conventional imaging modalities. For the assessment of treatment responsiveness, FDG PET has a major impact on the management of patients in differentiating residual lymphoma from treatment related benign changes. Residual FDG uptake after the completion of chemotherapy is a good predictor of early relapse. However, it seems that the absence of FDG uptake in tumor mass may not exclude minimal residual disease causing later relapse. In the early evaluation of treatment response only after a few cycles of chemotherapy, FDG PET may have a promising role in identifying non-responders who could benefit from a different treatment strategy. At present, FDG PET appears to be the cost-effective, diagnostic modality of choice in the management of lymphoma patients. The role of FDG PET based-systems in terms of affecting long-term prognosis and survival benefit should be further elucidated in future prospective studios.

  • Life table studies were conducted in the laboratory for the eulophid gregarious pupal parasitoid, Tetrastichus sp., on Hyphantria cunea Drury at a constant temperature of 28.2$\pm$2$^{\circ}C$, 50-60% RH to evaluate their impact on the host and their potential biological control. Development of immature stage took 20.1$\pm$2.7 d: adult females lived for 23.2$\pm$2.2 (range, 16-27)d and produced a mean of 53.6$\pm$26.6 adult progeny per female, with a sex ratio of 1: 9.5 (M:F). The intrinsic rate of natural increase (r$_{m}$) was 0.178/ female/day; the net reproductive rate (R$_{o}$), 46.74; the capacity for increase (r$_{c}$) 0.177; the finite rate of increase (λ) 1.19/female/day; thus each female contributed 46.74 individuals to the population in a mean generation time of 21.6 d. Biological factors in determining the life history trait variation of the parasitoid were discussed.d.d.d.

Genotypic and Environmental Effects on Flour Properties in Korean Winter Wheat

  • Flour characteristics of Korean winter wheat grown in Suwon in 1997 and 1998, and in Suwon and Deokso in 1998 were evaluated. Korean winter wheat cultivars were significantly influenced by years and locations in flour properties such as ash content, protein content, damaged starch content, starch swelling volume and power. Protein content was highly correlated with starch damage and alkaline water retention capacity. There were highly significant correlations between mixing time of mixograph and SDS sedimentation volume. Swelling properties of flour and starch were highly correlated with pasting properties of flour and starch, respectively. Compared to commercial flours for baking, Alchanmil, Gobunmil, Keumkangmil and Tapdongmil showed similar protein content, SOS sedimentation volume and mixograph mixing time. Eunpamil, Geurumil, Olgeurumil, Suwon 258, Suwon 261, Suwon 265, Suwon 275, Suwon 276, Suwon 277, Suwon 278 and Urimil had similar values to commercial noodle flours in SDS sedimentation volume. Alchanmil, Olgeurumil, Suwon 274, Suwon 275, Suwon 276 and Urimil showed higher swelling and pasting properties than the others. Chokwang, Olgeurumil, Suwon 277 and Urimil were similar to commercial cookie flours. Friabilin-absence lines showed higher protein content and starch damage than those of friabilin-presence lines. Absence lines of 1D$\times$2.2 + 1Dy12 subunit in high molecular weight glutenin subunits showed higher SDS sedimentation volume and mixing time of mixograph than those of presence lines.

Cu를 갖는 오스템퍼드 구상흑연주철의 기계적 성질에 미치는 마르텐사이트의 영향 (Effect of Martensite on the Mechanical Properties of Austempered Ductile Cast Iron with Cu)

  • Effect of martensite on the mechanical properties of austempered ductile cast iron was investigated after obtained the martensite by subzero treatment. Retained austenite was transformed to martensite by subzero treatment, and with decreasing subzero treatment temperature, volume fraction of martensite was increased. With increasing of the volume fraction of martensite, tensile strength was increased and elongation was decreased, ratio of increasing of strength and decreasing of elongation was higher in case of specimens with lot's of Cu contents. With increasing of the volume fraction of martensite, hardness slowly increased until only about 5% and it rapidly increased in a straight proportion when it is above 5%, while impact value was rapidly decreased until about 7% but it had a little change when it is above 7%.

Experimental Study on Cushioning Characteristics of Pneumatic Cylinder with Meter-In/Meter-Out Control

  • Pneumatic cylinder is widely used fur mechanical handling systems. Often, the impact occurs at the both ends points of pneumatic cylinder and generates the destructive shock with in the structural operating members of the machine or equipment. To reduce the damage of system, therefore, shock absorbing devices are required. Cushioning of pneumatic cylinders at one or both ends of piston stroke is used to reduce the shock and vibration. The cylinder body have to withstand under conditions of high velocity and load. In this research pneumatic cushioning cylinder moving tests have been conducted for different load mass and supply pressure. The velocity of pneumatic cylinder actuation system which is set vertically with multiple orifice cushion sleeve is controled with the meter-in/out control system. This study examines the dynamic characteristics of pneumatic cylinder which are used as cushion devices. It turns out that the cushion pressure is mainly a function of the external load rather than the supply pressure. The cushion region characteristics was also revealed in the meter-in control system.
