Objective: The Id family of helix-loop-helix proteins are thought to affect the balance between cell growth and differentiation by negatively regulating the function of basic-helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcriptional factors. The aim of this study was to investigate the expression pattern of Ids (Id-1, -2, -3, and -4) in preimplantation mouse embryos at mRNA and protein levels. Methods: Oocytes and preimplantation embryos were collected from reproductive organs of female ICR mice following superovulation. RT-PCR was performed to investigate the mRNA expression patterns of Id genes and their protein were localized by immunofluorescence analysis. Results: Id-1 and Id-3 mRNAs were strongly expressed at the germinal vesicle (GV) oocyte and the blastocyst stages. Id-2 mRNA was expressed throughout preimplantation embryo development, but Id-4 was not expressed. Immunofluorescence showed that Id-1 and Id-2 were predominantly localized in cytoplasmic region, but the immunofluorescence signal of Id-3 was weak throughout preimplantation embryo development. Conclusion: These data show for the first time that Ids are expressed in preimplantation mouse embryos and suggest that Ids may play an important role in early preimplantation embryo development and uterine physiological changes.
It has been estimated that 'RFID' technology would be playing an important role in the incoming ubiquitous environment. For this reason, many studies on 'RFID' have been conducted and its application has been on the increase in various fields such as finance, medicine, transportation and culture as well as in logistics distribution. However, the communication between Tag and Reader in RFID system has been conducted by wireless communication of radio frequency so that the information on identification could be eavesdropped by the third party maliciously. Such eavesdropped information could be also used as basic information in attacking others; in this regard, it could impair the privacy of its users and the users have avoided using 'RFID.' To solve theses problems, many studies are being performed to different output of tags by renewing ID. However, protocols have been devised without considering an ID Synchronization in the ID renewal process between database and tag in the existing studies. In this regard, this study has suggested a RFID Authentication Protocol while considering the ID Synchronization.

As the practical range of SAW Device extended into various fields including physical sensor, chemical sensor and ID Tag, the platform for various SAW Devices is required more than ever. While SAW ID or Sensors advanced remarkably, the development of platform which applies to SAW Sensor left much to be desired. Therefore this paper represents the SAW platform in order to use SAW ID such as ID Tag or Sensors more conveniently. The SAW platform consists of a RF module which can recognize SAW ID and a main module which has a hish performance processor in order to process the response signal of SAW ID. The main module which has a high performance processor is designed by GUI environmental type to ensure that users are able to use the platform more easily. In this paper, the SAW platform, which is based on ARM9 core processor, used Windows Embedded CE 6.0 OS which brings friendly interface to users. Also the developers can make less effort to design various applications with sensors.

The present study was undertaken to evaluate the effect of indigestible dextrin on bowel function and serum lipid. Recently developed indigestible dextrin is water soluble dietary fiber obtained by heating and enzyme-treatment of potato starch with low viscosity. SD male rats weighing 80~85g were divided into three groups; control diet(IC), control +5% pectin(IP), control +5% indigestible dextin(ID). Experimental rats were fed one of the experimental diets ad libitum for six weeks. Weight gain, food intake, and food efficiency ratio were not significantly different among other groups. Those of ID tended to be higher than in IP and IC. Weights of liver, spleen and kidney were not significantly different among groups. Epididymal fat pads weight in W and ID tended to be lower than in IC. The weight of cecum was sinificantly higher in m than in other groups(p<0.05). The weight and length of large intestine tended to be higher in IP and ID than in IC. Total feces excretion of ID and If tended to be more than that of IC. Transit time was shorter in IP than in other groups. Serum total lipid, total cholesterol and TG levels were higher in IC group than other groups. The fecal excretion of lipid was significantly higher in IP than in other groups(p<0.05). That of ID tended to be more than that of IC, so fat apparent absorption of ID was lower than that of IC. Ca absorption were decreased more in IP than in other groups(p<0.05).
Plant residues serve as substrates for the proliferation and overwintering of plant pathogenic fungi in soil. Effects of the biocontrol fungus Trichoderma harzianum on the colonization of wheat straw by the plant pathogenic fungus Fusarium solani were investigated under different soil moisture regimes (-50 vs. -500 kPa) in non-sterile soil. T. harzianum ThzID1-M3 and/or F. solani were added along with wheat straw to non-sterile soils. ThzID1-M3, other Trichoderma species, and F. solani were monitored for a 21-day period using quantitative PCR. ThzID1-M3 reduced the colonization of F. solani on wheat straw (p < 0.05) under both moisture regimes, and F. solani reduced the colonization by ThzID1-M3 and other Trichoderma species (p < 0.05), thus suggesting competitive inhibition between ThzID1-M3 and F. solani. Colonization by ThzID1-M3 and generic Trichoderma was improved in the wet soil (p < 0.05), but colonization by F. solani did not differ between the two moisture conditions. Thus, the inhibitory effect of ThzID1-M3 was greater in the wet soil (p < 0.05). The growth competition between ThzID1-M3 and F. solani to colonize plant debris suggests that the biocontrol fungus T. harzianum may reduce the potential of the plant pathogen, F. solani, to survive and proliferate on crops.
Nowadays, Smart Wallet technology trend that is able to save users' consuming costs and also retain users' redundant behaviors such as Single-tapping, One-way communication, Integrated ID, has been issued in recent Mobile Industrial Fields. As one of Smart Wallet functions, Integrated ID is proposed for users' convenience, handiness, and immediate responses. It is designed for the effective management of users' IDs which are easy to be forgot because of its unusual structures. To be detail, instead of user, Integrated ID system can certificate users identification from various online sites (where user resisted) authorization requests via one-clicking, not putting identification data in each sites. So, this technology would be helpful much to a certain user who has lots ID and its Password in multiple Online shopping companies by establishing integrated ID. However, although Integrated ID has lots advantages to be used, most Mobile Service Companies has hesitated to apply Integrated ID service in their shopping systems because this technology requires them sharing their users' data. They have worried that this service would be not helpful to gain their profits. Furthermore, Users who join in multiple shopping companies and use Integrated ID services also are difficult to decide which company they have to save their points in before payment because this system could not show any financial benefit analysis data to their users. As following facts, via this paper majorly we propose the advanced Integrated ID system which concern shopping point management. Basically, this system has a strong security payment service and secure network services like other mobile Shopping systems. Additionally, this system is able to service (or to support) shopping -point -saving guide for customers' financial benefits and conveniences.

We investigated the pharmacokinetics of 11-hydroxyaclacinomycin X (ID-6105), a novel anthracycline, after intravenous (i.v.) bolus administration at a multiple dose every 24 h for 5 days in rats. To analyze ID-6105 levels in biological samples, we used an HPLC-based method which was validated in a pharmacokinetic study by suitable criteria. The concentrations of ID-6105 after the multiple administration for 5 days were not significantly different from the results after the single administration. The $t_{1/2\alpha}, t_{l/2\beta}, V_{dss}, and CL_{t}$ after the multiple administration were not significantly different from the values after the single administration. Moreover, the concentrations of ID-6105 1 min at day 1-5 after i.v. bolus multiple administration did not show the significant difference. Of the various tissues, ID-6105 mainly distributed to the kidney, lung, spleen, adrenal gland, and liver after i.v. bolus multiple administration. ID-6105 concentrations in the kidney or lung 2 h after i.v. bolus administration were comparable to the plasma concentration shortly after i.v. bolus administration. However, the ID-6105 concentrations in various tissues 48 h after i.v. bolus administration decreased to low levels. ID-6105 was excreted largely in the bile after i.v. bolus multiple administration at the dose of 3 mg/kg. The amounts of ID-6105 found in the bile by 12 h or in the urine by 48 h after the administration were calculated to be $14.1\% or 4.55\%$ of the initial dose, respectively, indicating that ID-6105 is mostly excreted in the bile. In conclusion, ID-6105 was rapidly cleared from the blood and transferred to tissues, suggesting that ID-6105 might not be accumulated in the blood following i.v. bolus multiple dosages of 3 mg/kg every 24 h for 5 days. By 48 h after i.v. bolus administration, ID-6105 concentrations in various tissues had decreased to very low levels. The majority of ID-6105 appears to be excreted in the bile.

In this paper, we propose robust cell ID detection algorithm and SNR estimation algorithm applicable to mobile base station, which can be operated independently. The proposed cell ID estimation uses signal subspace to estimate cell IDs used in cell. The proposed SNR estimation algorithm uses number of noise subspace vectors and the corresponding eigen-vectors. Through the computer simulations, we showed that performance of the proposed cell ID detection and SNR estimation algorithms are superior to existing correlation based algorithms. Also we showed that the proposed algorithm is suitable to fast moving channel in high background noise and strong interference signal.
Background: Recently, there have been several case reports and retrospective studies about the incidence of intradiscal (ID) injection during transforaminal epidural steroid injection (TFESI). Inadvertent ID injection is not a rare complication, and it carries the risk of developing diskitis, although there has been no report of diskitis after TFESI. We prospectively evaluated the incidence of inadvertent ID injection during lumbar TFESI and analyzed the contributing factors. Methods: Ten patients received 2-level TFESI, and the remaining 229 patients received 1-level TFESI. When successful TFESI was performed, 2 ml of contrast dye was injected under real-time fluoroscopy to check for any inadvertent ID spread. A musculoskeletal radiologist analyzed all magnetic resonance images (MRIs) of patients who demonstrated inadvertent ID injection. When reviewing MRIs, the intervertebral foramen level where ID injection occurred was carefully examined, and any anatomical structure which narrowing the foramen was identified. Results: Among the 249 TFESI, we identified 6 ID injections; thus, there was an incidence of 2.4%. Four patients had isthmic spondylolisthesis, and the level of spondylolisthesis coincided with the level of ID injection. We further examined the right or left foramen of the spondylolisthesis level and identified the upward migrated disc material that was narrowing the foramen. Conclusions: Inadvertent ID injection during TFESI is not infrequent, and pain physicians must pay close attention to the type and location of disc herniation.

In this paper, we have proposed a secure dynamic ID allocation protocol using mutual authentication on the RFID tag. Currently, there are many security protocols focused on the low-price RFID tag. The conventional low-price tags have limitation of computing power and rewritability of memory. The proposed secure dynamic ID allocation protocol targets to the high-performance RFID tags which have more powerful performance than conventional low-price tag by allocating dynamic ID to RFID using mutual authentication based on symmetric encryption algorithm. This protocol can be used as a partial solution for ID tracing and forgery.
