국립중앙박물관은 2005년 10월 개관과 더불어 수장고 및 전시실의 안정한 보존 환경관리시스템을 확보하였다. 우선 수장고 및 전시실의 온습도와 유해가스를 주기적으로 측정하여 유물에 안정적인 환경을 유지하면서, 전시진열장 등 유물에 유해한 영향을 줄 수 있는 전시보조 재료(천, 종이, 페인트, 풀 등)를 테스트(Oddy test)하여 안정한 재료를 선정하고자 하였다. 또한 생물학적 피해를 미연에 방지하기 위해 수장고 전체를 훈증하였으며, 수장고에 주기적으로 곤충모니터링 트랩을 설치하여 생물에 의한 피해를 예방하고 있다.

국립 중앙 박물관의 소장품은 다양한 재질로 구성되는데, 그 중 목재, 종이, 피혁 등 유기질로 이루어진 것들은 충균의 피해에도 민감하여 훈증에 의한 관리와 방충·방균제가 병용되고 있다. 본 실험에서는 박물관에서 사용되는 각종 재료들의 유해성을 판정하는 Oddy test를 응용하여 방충·방균제가 염색지의 색변화에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 그 결과 B사 H제품이 염색지의 색변화에 가장 영향을 적게 미치는 것으로 관찰되었다. 코치닐과 울금 염색지의 실험 결과에서 염색지와 함께 노출된 시편과 비교하여 대조군의 변화가 매우 크게 나타났다. 이는 시료보다 습도에 의한 영향이 크기 때문으로 생각된다.

This study examines the duration of Korean lax and tense stops in the prosodic word-medial position, their interactions with nearby segments, and the phonological implications of these interactions. It first examines the lengthening of consonants at the function of the short lax stop. Experiment 1 shows that the sonorant C1 is significantly longer before a short lax stop C2 than before a long tense stop. Experiment 2 shows that the short lax stop C1 cancels the contrast between the lax and tense obstruent at C2, making them appear as long tense obstruents (Post-Stop Tensing Rule). We suggest that such lengthening phenomena occur in Korean to robustly preserve the contrastive length difference between C and CC. Second, this study examines the vowel shortening, known as Closed-Syllable Vowel Shortening, before a long tense stop or before the consonant sequence. Experiment 3 suggests that it be interpreted as temporal adjustment to make the interval from the onset of a vowel to the onset of the following vowel of near-equal length. Conclusively, we suggest that Korean speech be planned and controlled with two specific intervals. One is the duration of contrastive consonant intervals between vowels, and the other is the duration from the onset of a vowel to the onset of the following vowel.

This study aims to overview research articles on extrasolar planets using Kepler mission data during the period of 2009-2015 in order to discover research trends in them. Kepler space observatory is a NASA space observatory for extrasolar planet expedition launched in March 2009, contributed to the discovery and tracking of extrasolar planets and its candidates. In order to achieve the goal of this study, we classified research subjects from studies on Kepler mission data year by year and found the most frequent research topics each year. We also conducted a comparative analysis on the research subjects based on time series and examined any changes with respect to the goal of Kepler mission. Statistical meta-analysis is employed as the analysis method for the key words presented in the research articles. This study is a part of on-going research to find the correlation between the physical parameters of the host star and extrasolar planets. The results of this study could offer new directions in researches utilizing Kepler mission data as those meta-analyses in social sciences often suggest new opportunities. We have high expectations that more extrasolar planet studies will follow as we make further progresses in various analyses.

Objectives: The study was performed to investigate the relationship between snack intake and oral health behavior in middle school students in Gyeonggi-do area. Methods: The survey questionnaire was recorded by middle school students from July 6 to August 24, 2011. The questionnaire included items on general characteristics, snack intake status, and oral health behavior. Among collected survey questionnaire, a total of 620 questionnaires (320 males and 300 females) were analyzed using SPSS 15.0 program. Results: Frequencies of snack and beverage intakes were significantly higher in males than in females (p < 0.001). Oral health behavior was significantly higher in students with lower snack intake compared to those with higher or average snack intake (p < 0.05). Oral health behavior for tooth brushing and toothbrush care were significantly higher in females than in males (p < 0.05). Conclusions: Oral health behavior score that reflected better oral health of the subjects were higher as the snack intake was lower. Oral health behavior score was higher in females than in males. We conclude that the contents for oral health and nutrition education focused on snack intake need to be developed to induce changes in oral health behavior in middle school students.

This objectives of this study were to assess the pH and titratable acid (TA) and conduct sensory evaluation of the high-protein yogurt supplemented with Oxya chinensis sinuosa (grasshopper). High-protein yogurt containing Oxya chinensis sinuosa powder displayed TA of 0.93% to 1.1%, and a pH of 4.3 or 4.4. There were no significant differences between the control and treated groups in pH and TA. Organoleptic evaluations revealed that, except for color and texture, taste, flavor, and overall acceptability showed decreased trends in proportion to the amount of Oxya chinensis sinuosa powder. Further studies will explore the potential of Oxya chinensis sinuosa powder as a protein with health benefits for humans.

Purpose: This study applied the Korean Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (K-MBSR) program for mothers of children and adolescents with mental illnesses, and verified its effectiveness on perceived stress and depression based on the Middle-range theory of caregiver stress. Methods: A quasi-experimental, non-equivalent control group pre-post test design was used. The K-MBSR program was reconstructed with experts' advice to adjust subjects' characters. Using a group approach, sessions were conducted once a week for six weeks, and each session took 2.5 hours. Results: The experimental group did not show a significant decrease in perceived stress than the control group. However, the experimental group showed a significant decrease in depression than the control group. Conclusion: The K-MBSR program was effective for depression. Future studies on high-stress groups or with an extended program are necessary to clarify the effects of the K-MBSR program on perceived stress. These results are consistent with the middle-range theory of caregiver stress, the theoretical framework of this study. When caregivers have similar inputs, proper intervention can change the control process. Further, it can be assumed that this change positively affects the output.

본 연구는 치료공동체에 거주하고 있는 회복자들의 회복경험에 대한 연구이다. 연구에는 치료공동체에 거주하고 있는 회복자 9명이 참여하였다. 자료는 심층 면담을 통해 구성했고 Giorgi가 제안한 기술적 현상학적 분석 단계에 따라 분석하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 연구참여자들은 직면의 용기, 책임감의 부활, 일상생활속의 사회기술 훈련, 치료동맹자 가족, 노동생산성 향상, 가족으로 돌아가는 황금의 다리, 자기실존과의 조우라는 경험을 한 것으로 나타났다. 연구자들은 연구결과에 근거하여 치료공동체 내에 직업훈련 프로그램의 도입, 치료공동체와 지역사회 자원과의 연계, 치료공동체 프로그램에 가족 참여를 제안하였다.

This study investigates the problems of fitness and motion suitability for Korean female military winter jackets (inner and outer) and provides data for new pattern development. We analyzed fitness and motion suitability by a questionnaire survey with 39 Korean female soldiers and a wearing evaluation with 8 subjects of the female soldeier's center size. The results of the study are as follows. 1. In the survey result on the fitness with female soldiers, fit of collar showed a score lower than 3.0 for the inner jacket and front interscye breadth, chest circumference, collar height on the outer jacket. The result on the motion suitability showed that both the inner jacket and the outer jacket were above 3.0 (moderate), indicating that the dissatisfactory factors were not large. 2. The wearing evaluation results with the subjects of central army female size, discomfort factor derived the chest circumference, neck circumference, item of the hem circumference and collar height on the outer jacket. This study is meaningful in evaluating the current military winter jacket of female soldiers and it is expected to be used as a basic data for future pattern improvement of military winter jacket for female soldiers.

This study was to develop an ergonomic Korean male military winter jackets (inner and outer) pattern. First, we developed a prototype pattern and sample jackets based on a previous investigation for fitness and motion suitability of Korean male military winter jackets and evaluated fitness and motion suitability by a wearing test. The evaluation results were positive with an over 3.0 (5.0 Likert scale) for both the inner and outer jacket. However, a relatively low score was shown in the sleeve length and collar front height at the inner jacket and shown in hem circumference, neck circumference, elbow and front neck at the outer jacket. Next, we developed the secondary pattern and sample jacket reflecting the prototype evaluation result and executed expert evaluation. The result showed that the ease amount was appropriate (except for the collar back height) and the appearance was good. Finally, we developed a final pattern that showed good results after evaluation at a Korean military army base.
